The multi-hued light spun in a vortex. Its speed was so extreme that it afforded the deathly creatures in the distance absolutely no time to react.
Any monster caught within the colorful radiance vanished instantly, for in that brief moment of contact, they simultaneously endured the crushing impact of the Five Elements. This was not the strike of one force, but a continuous barrage from five distinct powers.
No living thing could withstand such an assault, not even the Golden or Mutated Monsters. Their very bodies instantly fragmented and dissolved back into the void.
Yet, what truly instilled dread in He Yiming was yet to come.
This swirling power of the Five Elements showed no sign of halting. It spun relentlessly, expanding outward, as an endless supply of World Energy continuously fed into it. Here, any power, regardless of its nature, was worn down by the cycle of the Five Elements, ultimately being transmuted into the world's most fundamental essence.
They became the nourishment for the Five Element Reincarnation, a source for its further destructive expansion.
The speed of the Great Five Element Reincarnation accelerated. The moment He Yiming fully recovered from the shock, he realized the expanding vortex of the Five Element cycle had already far surpassed the limits of his sensory reach.
Whether in the sky, upon the ground, or deep beneath the earth, powerful Five Element forces spun—a power seemingly inexhaustible, destined to last until the world itself ceased to exist.
Feeling this might, witnessing the incredible spectacle, He Yiming’s heart turned utterly cold.
So, this was the true power of the Flower of the Great Five Element Reincarnation—the purest form of destructive force, capable of utterly annihilating everything in the world, even all other forms of power.
“Did you see it?” The Dragon’s voice sounded once more. “This is the true Flower of the Great Five Element Reincarnation. As for what you used before, hehe…”
He Yiming’s expression shifted, but this time it was one of complete conviction and respect.
Compared to this grand cycle just witnessed, the techniques he previously employed were like an ant showcasing its strength beneath an elephant’s foot—a thought that brought a flush of shame to his cheeks.
After a long silence, He Yiming bowed deeply. “Thank you for your guidance, Lord Dragon.”
Following that recent experience, He Yiming had not only witnessed the true might of the Flower of the Great Five Element Reincarnation, but what benefited him far more was sensing the latent life residing within the Five Element powers.
This was life nurtured within the force itself. The moment he connected with this life, aided by the Dragon, He Yiming clearly understood the path he must tread from this day forward.
Beyond the Void God Realm lay the Pseudo-God Realm. However, ascending to the Pseudo-God Realm demanded a level of comprehension almost unimaginable to others.
This comprehension was a new tier of experiencing the power of the world and heaven. Before today, He Yiming had experienced it twice briefly through divine artifacts, yet he never truly grasped the origin of these domain powers.
But now, he understood. Both the Ice Domain and the Blazing Domain were the result of the artifact, the Five Element Ring, accumulating an overwhelming concentration of a single element. This caused the peculiar shifts that allowed him to master domain power prematurely.
And the entity responsible for all of this was the Primary Soul within the Five Element Ring.
It was precisely the existence of the Primary Soul, combined with the condensation of an excessively potent single elemental force, that allowed the Primary Soul to resonate with the life inherent in that element, ultimately forming the power of the domain.
At this point, He Yiming was enlightened. If he wished to advance further, stepping into the Pseudo-God Realm, he must immerse himself more deeply in comprehending the changes within the forces of heaven and earth. The day he could instinctively perceive the life hidden within the structure of these powers would be the day he reached the Pseudo-God Realm.
Of course, even though He Yiming knew this principle now, he was still leagues away from achieving it.
The Dragon remained silent for a long time, not disturbing He Yiming’s deep contemplation. Only when the confusion and gravity in his eyes gave way to elation and ease did the Dragon nod slightly. “Since you have gained insight, let us depart.”
He Yiming responded, waving his hand to recall the Five Element Ring. He turned his gaze and inquired, “Lord Dragon, how long will these Great Five Element Reincarnation vortices last?”
A flash of savagery crossed the Dragon’s massive eyes. “They will cleanse and erase every monster on this sphere until not a single living thing remains upon it.”
He Yiming gasped, hesitating slightly. “Since you possess such means, why did you not employ them before?”
The Dragon snorted in anger. “Who says I haven’t? If I hadn't used this ability the first time I entered this place, perhaps none of the Divine Paths would exist now.”
He Yiming paused, his thoughts immediately drifting to the enormous floating objects they had encountered, and the nests of the monsters they had found dead.
He let out a long breath; perhaps only a force as immense as this Five Element power could deal with something of that terrifying mass.
The Dragon shifted its tail, its gaze fixing upon the entrance to the passage.
Its eyes widened abruptly. “Bad, quickly, let’s go.”
He Yiming’s heart clenched. Without a second thought, he surged forward, diving into the already fluctuating passage almost simultaneously with the Dragon.
This passage had originally been quite stable; even a combined effort of numerous Divine Path experts could not seal it.
However, after Hundred and Eight sealed it, the passage became unstable. And the Dragon, in venting its fury upon the Land of Death, had unleashed the maximum power of the Flower of the Great Five Element Reincarnation. While it thoroughly vented the anger bottled up for five hundred years, it also subjected the passage to significant shockwaves.
If not for the Dragon’s protective aura, it would have collapsed on the spot. Even so, the passage was now precarious, appearing ready to shatter at any moment.
With a flash, He Yiming, the Divine Path Puppet, and the Dragon departed that place. Not long after they left, the entire world shuddered, and the passage entrance flared up, shining like the midday sun.
This brilliance lasted only an instant, followed by a massive explosive sound.
Countless amounts of sand filled the sky, slowly drifting down like rain, creating a sandstorm that completely reshaped the terrain.
After the power of the Five Element Reincarnation spun on the surface of the sphere for several years, it finally subsided. By then, not a single trace remained of the Dragon and its companions.
Everything had been destroyed by the vortex that raged for years. The remaining deathly creatures, despite possessing various incredible powers, and even the ability to sense distant spaces, were ultimately helpless without any leads. They eventually abandoned this dead sphere.
Decades later, the entire sphere held nothing but endless yellow sand; no life remained. Even the deathly creatures would no longer linger here.
This place had become, truly and deservedly, a land of the dead...
Above the North Sea, Yuan Lixun held the Ice Mirror, her divine power surging, and an even stronger energy churning within the artifact.
Before her, the void shimmered with strange fluctuations, as if something was about to tear itself free.
Aside from her, the other four Divine Beasts were in the same posture, their gazes locked onto that continuously rippling emptiness—a sight enough to strike terror into any living being.
As the power emanating from Ice Island intensified, the fluctuations before them grew more pronounced.
At this moment, all the humans and Divine Beasts focused their attention entirely ahead, no longer noticing the sky above Ice Island. Thus, no one realized that Hundred and Eight, who orchestrated all of this, had inexplicably vanished.
Suddenly, as the energy above Ice Island reached a critical peak, the space before Yuan Lixun and the Divine Beasts violently tore open.
In that instant, she and the Divine Beasts unleashed the power they had long gathered into the rupture.
As the rent spaces were flooded with immense force, they slowly began to mend. However, this was destined to be a protracted task, one that could not be resolved in a mere moment.
A second fissure appeared, and Yuan Lixun and the others continued to pour in divine power. But before they could fully repair the first, a third fissure materialized.
Now, Yuan Lixun and the Divine Beasts finally understood why Hundred and Eight had insisted they elevate their power to the Divine Path realm and urged them not to slacken in the slightest.
As these fissures multiplied, Yuan Lixun and all the Divine Beasts poured every ounce of their strength into the effort. For several straight days, the depletion of divine power within her and the beasts was unimaginable. Yet, from start to finish, they persevered relentlessly, daring not to relax even for a second.
Whatever their initial motives, at this moment, they were truly giving their absolute best.
The intense concentration and drain on their divine power left all the Divine Beasts utterly exhausted. They swallowed the White Stones without hesitation, but even so, at this point, they were nearing complete depletion, struggling to maintain control. Even Yuan Lixun, possessing the Ice Mirror artifact, found herself unable to persist.
Such massive consumption was something that she and the newly advanced Divine Beasts could not sustain for long.
However, just then, a vast yet strangely melodious sound echoed.
Ice Island violently ruptured, revealing a profound, bottomless black opening—a hole that seemed to pierce straight into the heart of the island, radiating an arcane power.
Immediately, Yuan Lixun, standing closest to the island, witnessed the White Stone floating above Ice Island explode, shattering into countless fragments that scattered outward.
They streaked through the void, leaving trails of brilliant light like meteors, breaking through the ice surface and sinking deep into the icy sea.
For some inexplicable reason, Yuan Lixun’s heart suddenly tightened; she sensed a vague premonition of disaster. But in the next moment, her eyes snapped into sharp focus.
From the dark abyss, three figures emerged: two unfamiliar humans and a white tiger with double wings materialized abruptly before her eyes.
