All was a dazzling spectacle across heaven and earth. The power of the cosmos surged like a tide, turbulent and immense within a radius of tens of thousands of miles.
Looking up, three colossal silhouettes filled He Yiming's consciousness. He knew clearly that, save for the monstrous lair that was already destroyed, even with his two great Divine Weapons in hand, he stood absolutely no chance against the two remaining behemoths.
Fortunately, the Divine Dragon had accompanied him, likely having already accounted for this scenario; thus, he wouldn't need to intervene against the massive floating object in the sky.
Billows of mist erupted violently from the Divine Dragon’s body, instantly enveloping the space between the floating object and the monster lair. The shafts of light of every color descending from the heavens, upon touching the Divine Dragon's vapor or its form, vanished without a trace, utterly dissipated.
Subsequently, the colossal monster lair convulsed stiffly in the sky, and then, succumbing to gravity, it plummeted violently downwards.
He Yiming, watching from below in an upward gaze, startled at the sight of a battle clearly not of the mortal realm, and without hesitation, burrowed deeper into the earth.
Simultaneously, the visible rings of fire-elemental power surrounding him began to boil even more fiercely; he had unleashed every iota of his potential without reservation.
At the same moment, the nine colossal fire dragons frolicking outside received He Yiming’s intent, transforming into a streak of crimson light that vanished instantaneously into the Nine Dragon Furnace within the Five Elements Ring.
A muffled, thunderous boom echoed from above. Even though He Yiming was prepared and shielded by the immense power of the fire element, his heart hammered, and his vital energy churned violently at that instant.
The monster lair, grander than any mountain range, spanning thousands of miles, falling from the sky—such destructive majesty was beyond the imagination of ordinary men.
For every living thing beneath it, it was a predetermined tragedy.
Even the loosely packed sand below was compacted into unyielding solidity by the impact. Every monster within a ten-thousand-mile radius, no matter how deeply they had burrowed, perished instantly. The immense shockwave annihilated everything; even the flames clinging to the lair itself were extinguished by the unbearable pressure.
It was fortunate that the nine fire dragons, under He Yiming’s control, had temporarily retreated into the Nine Dragon Furnace, or they surely would have been shaken apart by such violent tremors.
Though they held the Nine Dragon Furnace, they would not die and could eventually recover through constant refinement. However, suffering a massive depletion of vital energy was inevitable.
It felt as if countless flies were buzzing in his ears. After a long while, He Yiming regained consciousness, a faint trace of blood oozing from the corner of his mouth.
Within his heart, a sound like a maddened roar reverberated.
Divine might—this was true Divine Might...
His gaze gradually solidified. A far more distant road lay before him, and one day, he would become a being as powerful as the Divine Dragon.
With a shift of thought, He Yiming struck the Nine Dragon Furnace on his body, and the nine fire dragons reappeared. However, their movements were no longer as presumptuous as before; they had become cautious. After the previous incident, these sovereign spirits of divine artifacts had suffered a severe blow.
Under such overwhelming compressive force, no artifact, no matter how powerful, could withstand it.
Yet, what astonished He Yiming was that the descent of the lair had not only extinguished the massive fire but had also completely scattered the Heaven and Earth Power he had painstakingly gathered.
With a wry smile, He Yiming began circulating the Five Elements Ring once more, and the boundless power of the cosmos surged towards him endlessly.
However, He Yiming's attention was no longer focused on the ground but on the higher skies.
In his memory, the Divine Dragon had grown immensely large and positioned itself between the floating object and the monster lair. But now, beyond a expanse of yellow dust in the sky, there was no sign of the Divine Dragon or the floating object; they had vanished without him realizing when.
The muscles in He Yiming’s face twitched slightly. Everything that had transpired this day far exceeded his expectations, lending him an almost dreamlike sensation.
Still, for two objects of such immense scale, stretching nearly ten thousand miles, to simply disappear was utterly incredible.
Vaguely, he sensed massive fluctuations of Heaven and Earth Power above him. His eyes brightened, yet his heart filled with even greater dread.
In such a short time, the two giants had ascended to a height beyond even his sight. Their speed was surely beyond his wildest imagination.
Shaking his head, He Yiming ultimately focused his energy on the nine great dragons. The battle in the sky was beyond his capacity to interfere, but incinerating the monster lair remained his responsibility.
A quarter of an hour later, the nine great dragons reignited the monster lair. Compared to the first attempt, He Yiming and the nine fire dragons, now possessing experience, acted with increased fluidity and targeted precision.
Against such a behemoth, engulfing it entirely in a sea of fire in one go was impossible. But by concentrating immense power, breaking through one point, and using that point to expand, they could melt it completely given sufficient time.
Slowly, as the expanse of the sea of fire grew, He Yiming’s heart gradually calmed.
He finally understood why even the Divine Dragon’s power could not refine it—the lair was simply too vast. Given the Divine Dragon’s martial cultivation, focusing solely on it might eventually lead to its refinement, but clearly, this would require an incalculably long period, measured in millennia.
The Nine Dragon Furnace, however, was different. It was a fire-elemental Divine Artifact; the fiercer the flames, the more active the dragons became, and the greater the might they could unleash. When nearly half of the monster lair was caught in the firestorm, the temperature reached an unimaginable degree. The surrounding sand began to melt, and the ground level continuously sank.
Though countless monsters charged forward from the distance fearlessly, regrettably, they were reduced to desiccated corpses, completely drained of moisture, before they could even reach the lair. They then slowly ignited and dissolved into dust at the slightest touch, truly achieving utter annihilation.
He Yiming had no idea of the current temperature, but he was certain that at this moment, even the Divine Dragon and the previous floating monster object would not dare approach this location, or their only fate would be to be completely refined as well.
Around the monster lair and in the sky, under such intense flames, the nine fire dragons had grown colossal. While not comparable to the Divine Dragon’s transformation, they were already monstrously huge.
The immense fiery glow stained the entire sky a deep crimson, instilling a primal fear in anyone who dared look up.
He Yiming even privately speculated whether the Divine Dragon and the massive floating object had anticipated this, which was why they deliberately fought far away from this site.
However, what perplexed He Yiming was that the battle between these two giants caused no discernible changes to the surrounding environment—that was the truly unbelievable aspect.
It was well known that even skirmishes between ordinary Void God Realm experts could inflict irreparable damage on the environment, so the collision of these two behemoths should have been far more shocking. Yet, in reality, after the initial sight, they had vanished, as if they had left this world without a trace.
Hesitating briefly, He Yiming ascended from underground. His surroundings were now intensely hot, forming a vast dome of flame nearly ten miles in radius.
Within this fiery domain, the temperature was nearly as high as that above the monster lair. Every monster that neared this area, regardless of its kind or number, died instantly, before He Yiming even had time to raise a thought to act.
This was the Domain—the legendary power of the Domain.
He Yiming had inadvertently displayed an Ice Domain once before, but that power paled in comparison to the current manifestation.
Still, He Yiming knew that this opportunity to benefit from such a powerful Domain was a singular event; there would never be a second monster lair for him to incinerate. Without this super-raw material, even if he shattered the Nine Dragon Furnace and the Five Elements Ring, they could never forge such an incomparably potent Fire Domain for him again.
It was fortunate that the Nine Dragon Furnace and the Five Elements Ring were under his direct control; thus, these two artifacts automatically formed a protective ring of fire-elemental power around him. Otherwise, He Yiming would have long since fled in terror, abandoning this dangerous place.
He glanced towards the heavens, seeing wisps of white vapor constantly spiraling upward. The scenery before him seemed to subtly tremble under the effect of the intense heat, lending an unreal quality to the view.
A sudden urge surged within him—a desire to ascend and witness the battle—and this thought became unstoppable.
He glanced down, communicating with the nine fire dragons through intent. Refining the monster lair completely would require a period of arduous effort, and during this time, the area would be an absolute forbidden zone for life; no other living thing could approach it except him.
Raising his gaze to the sky once more, He Yiming finally resolved his mind. His body shot straight upward like a rocket, piercing towards the greater heights.
The scorching air billowed around him, turning the firmament a deeper shade of crimson...
