Within that sea of chaotic Dantian. While the light power of the Pseudo-God Realm occupied a considerable expanse, it was not the most dominant force. For within the Dantian, there existed two other powers capable of contending with it, matching it stride for stride.
One of these was naturally the power born of the union between light and darkness—the Guang’an Hebi (Light-Dark Convergence). The other was the might of the Wuxing Da Lunhui Zhi Hua (Flower of the Great Reincarnation of the Five Elements). These two powers each claimed their own territory, forming an almost perceptible tripod standoff against the newly integrated force. Of course, above these three immense powers hovered the three divine weapons of He Yiming, standing guard.
To discover forces within his own Dantian capable of opposing the Pseudo-God Realm's light power was enough to bring him immense, unexpected joy.
After a moment of hesitation, He Yiming summoned more Pseudo-God Realm light power from his Dantian, and then gathered an equal measure of strength from the Guang’an Hebi. These two forces slowly approached each other at the very center of the Dantian, and in an instant, they violently collided.
In that moment, it was as if boundless fireworks erupted, dazzling and magnificent.
Following the impact, both sides of the power dissolved completely, leaving not a trace behind. All of it reverted to the most fundamental energy, merging into that mysterious chaos.
The muscles in He Yiming’s face twitched subtly, and his body seemed to tremble slightly.
After he ascended to the peak of the Human Dao, Ao Borui, upon realizing that He Yiming had mastered the Western Guang’an Hebi, immediately abandoned his enmity. Back then, he knew that the power possessed by this technique was absolutely unrivaled among those of the same rank.
However, after he advanced to the God Dao and experienced the true power of the Pseudo-God Realm, he understood that as martial cultivation deepened, the strength of the Guang’an Hebi would also grow more potent, making the gap between it and martial arts of the same rank even more pronounced.
A tenfold gap in power was, at this very moment, being bridged by the strength of the Guang’an Hebi.
He drew a deep breath, boundless ecstasy surging through his heart.
Months ago, upon first advancing to the Void God Realm, while he certainly felt his own strength, he was even more awed by the intense aura emanating from the Pseudo-God Realm experts. But now, he felt a supreme confidence; give him a little time to push his Void God Realm cultivation to its peak, and he would no longer fear any Pseudo-God Realm expert.
Whether Void God or Pseudo-God, there was still a distinction between the strong and the weak within the same general level.
A newly advanced expert and one who had reached the pinnacle of that stage were completely different matters. He Yiming might now have some confidence to challenge a freshly advanced Pseudo-God, but he certainly didn't believe he could defeat those who had been advanced Pseudo-Gods for hundreds of years.
The Five Elements power within the Dantian spun rapidly. These five forces ceaselessly revolved within the Dantian, simultaneously devouring other energies while releasing their own power. While maintaining a solid state of stability, they were also slowly growing stronger and larger.
The Five Elements generate one another; given infinite time, they would grow into something more terrifying than anything else in the world.
A sliver of Five Elements power split off and contacted a thread of Pseudo-God Realm divine light. With an identical burst, both vanished without a trace.
What surprised He Yiming pleasantly was that neither the Five Elements power nor the Guang’an Hebi seemed in the least bit inferior to divine abilities from a higher stage. The only concern was insufficient divine power; compared to those who had cultivated to the Pseudo-God Realm, the total volume of power absorbed by a Void God Realm expert’s Dantian was likely lacking significantly.
After pondering for a long moment, He Yiming finally gritted his teeth and slowly began to draw the Guang’an power and the Five Elements power in his Dantian towards the center to converge.
In his Dantian, both these forces were monarch-like entities. As the saying goes, kings do not meet kings. Previously, attempting to merge the powers of these two was utterly impossible for He Yiming. But this time was different. After experiencing the power of the Pseudo-God Realm—though he couldn't decipher exactly what distinguished that power—he undeniably possessed a superior mastery over the control of power, and his conceptual approach had undergone a monumental transformation.
Slowly, these two forces met within the Dantian. However, under He Yiming's careful manipulation, they did not explode immediately as they had before, but instead formed something akin to a highly delicate, linked structure.
A faint smile touched the corner of his lips; he hadn't expected this ingenious workaround to actually succeed.
He Yiming used the light of his divine weapons to lightly shroud the exterior of the structure, then merged this divine weapon light to link them together in this manner. While this method fell far short of true power fusion, it was the absolute limit of what He Yiming could achieve at this moment.
This concept itself was inspired by the Pili Spear he had recently witnessed; otherwise, he never would have conceived of such an unusual solution.
With a thought, a strand of Pseudo-God Realm light power was directed to collide with these two linked forces.
Instantly, a torrent of violent power surged out, creating a shockwave centered on that point, making it seem as if the entire chaotic Dantian was about to detonate.
Every trace of color drained from He Yiming’s face; he dared not move a muscle.
Fortunately, the disturbance lasted only a moment before subsiding. The chaotic Dantian proved itself the origin of all methods; even under such an unexpected impact, it suffered no substantive damage.
Yet, the lesson learned was profoundly deep. In the future, he would never again casually attempt such collisions between techniques within his Dantian.
As his strength continuously increased, the sheer volume of power he commanded became immense, no longer comparable to the minor skirmishes of the past.
The chaotic Dantian could withstand the impact of all forces below the God Dao, but above that realm, the increase in power represented an ineffable qualitative leap. This level of power could no longer be experimented with limitlessly inside the Dantian.
He hesitated for a long while, then slowly extended his hands, moving them slightly. Immediately, two spinning wheels of light appeared above his palms. One was naturally the pure contrast of black and white, while the other pulsed with a dazzling, vibrant spectrum of five colors.
These two forces grew stronger as his cultivation increased and his state stabilized; at least, that was He Yiming’s perception—his control over them was becoming increasingly effortless.
Of course, studying the Pseudo-God Realm divine light played a major role in this. Had it not been for the vast, seemingly endless reservoir of Pseudo-God Realm power for him to contemplate, he might not have reached this level so easily.
After another pause, He Yiming suddenly produced two beams of white light in his hands—the light emanating from the divine weapon Wuxing Huan (Five Elements Ring). Under his control, a thin layer of light enveloped each of the two forces separately. Then, he brought his hands together, pressing the two forces tightly against each other.
This was the simplified, linked version he had created inside his Dantian.
He Yiming’s eyes slowly brightened, and his body began to tremble slightly once more.
Because he suddenly realized that having these two forces so close—within tactile reach, separated only by a thin barrier of divine weapon light—was an extremely precarious act. He could even smell a scent named death.
The divine light in his eyes flickered uncertainly. Though he desperately wanted to fling the objects in his hands away and witness their true might, he ultimately suppressed the urge.
The two spheres slowly separated, the protective sheath dissolved, and finally merged back into his own body.
However, he was unaware that the moment he brought that rotating wheel close, a massive aura suddenly seeped out of the sealed sand house. Under the shroud of this aura, the remaining God Dao experts and divine beasts, whose vigilance had not faded, felt their hairs stand on end, and their gazes toward the room acquired a certain strange gleam.
Thankfully, this structure had been personally built by the Divine Dragon, containing miraculous energy that obstructed the probing of divine intent.
Unless this protective force was destroyed, even the Divine Dragon itself could not discern what was transpiring within.
Moments later, this terrifying energy that had sent chills down everyone’s spine vanished completely. But the experts exchanged glances, wariness showing clearly in their eyes.
"Cough, cough…" Mou Zilong suddenly stepped forward. "Please, everyone, do not misunderstand. Perhaps this was merely the result of Brother He guiding out the pure light attribute contained within the Pili Spear?" He scanned the group, spinning an explanation. "When Brother He was modifying the Pili Spear for me, he first released the power within the spear. Back then, eight thousand Pili Spears released their power simultaneously; the might was equally terrifying."
The others exchanged glances and slowly nodded. They could faintly sense that the recent burst of power indeed carried a trace of the light attribute.
"How did he manage to release the power of eight thousand Pili Spears all at once?" Ma Yu asked calmly.
Mou Zilong shrugged. "I am not a smith, Brother Ma; I know nothing of forging arts. Please forgive me."
Ma Yu’s gaze shifted to Liu Mu, who was widely recognized as the foremost forging master present, second only to the Divine Calculator of their generation.
Liu Mu hesitated for a long moment. "I could not achieve such a feat either. But I suspect this is his unique technique; otherwise, he couldn't have modified the Pili Spear."
Ma Yu and Yuan Juan looked at each other. A name of a famous divine artifact simultaneously flashed through both their minds.
Perhaps only with the aid of that artifact could such an unbelievable effect be achieved.
Silence fell over the group again. Mou Zilong offered a wry smile, thinking to himself, Brother He, I can conceal this for you once, but I cannot do so forever.
At the entrance to the passage, the Divine Dragon, which inspired utmost reverence in all beasts and men, coiled its body, gazing intently at the sand house.
Though it, too, could not peer through the structure it had erected, its gaze grew deeper and more unfathomable...
Ps: Three chapters today. Tomorrow, I will absolutely manage four chapters, come what may. In the future, White Crane will likely be unable to maintain five-chapter bursts, not just for this book, but for the next one as well. However, maintaining three chapters daily is still guaranteed. Sigh… My apologies! Finally, I humbly request monthly votes. Thank you!
