Osos woke, looking towards Ji Haotian with palpable excitement. "I have searched for you for many years, yet found not a trace of you in my universe. It turns out you were never in the cosmos I inhabited. Spatial power allows traversal between great spaces; you were always in another universe—no wonder I could never sense your presence."
Osos chuckled softly, the strange light motes in his eyes flickering constantly. His entire being aged rapidly; his hair and beard turned stark white, his face etched with profound weariness.
"You truly acquired half of Tyr's power!" Candice gasped in terror.
"You plotted to seize my power, attacking me during my awakening. You deserve to die." Osos looked upon Candice and the group of mages, his expression serene.
From his pupils, strands of strange light burst forth, enveloping every mage in Candice’s party.
A bizarre manipulation of time began to affect Candice and the others. They, who had appeared ancient, rapidly reverted to youth.
The deep ravines of wrinkles on Candice's face smoothed out as time flowed backward, a sheen of youth gradually illuminating her features. Like Candice, the mages covered by Osos's power watched in horror, visibly growing younger.
The vanished years swiftly rewound, restoring youth to each of them.
While this should have been a joyous thing, Candice and the others found no happiness in it; instead, they were overcome with stark terror, crying out and displaying expressions of utter disbelief.
For they sensed that as their appearances changed, the power they had accumulated over millennia was vanishing at an alarming rate.
With every step backward in age, their accrued strength receded correspondingly.
They were returning to the past, to a time before they commanded such formidable power, before they had even grasped the true essence of magic. As time reversed their bodies, their strength plummeted.
Osos smiled, urging the power of time forward. In a very short period, Candice transformed into a maiden of radiant beauty, while the earth-shattering power she once possessed vanished completely.
No matter how they struggled, Candice and the others could not escape the influence of Osos’s temporal power. They thrashed and cried out, unable to halt the transformation.
On the other side.
Kuang and the Five-Clawed Golden Dragon looked coldly at the suddenly appearing Ji Haotian, their expressions hostile.
Between Kuang and Ji Changkong, gaps of space were carved out, seeming to overlap, separating the two.
Though Ji Changkong was clearly visible, Kuang still struggled to feel his presence. The soul power he had invested in Ji Changkong dissolved entirely.
Kuang’s face changed drastically. "Who are you?"
"I am his father." Ji Haotian stared at these people with icy coldness. "As long as I am here, none of you will harm Changkong!"
A strange triangular symbol suddenly flashed within Ji Haotian's eyes.
Ji Du, imprisoned by the Five-Clawed Golden Dragon, suddenly felt as if he were enveloped in a new domain. As Ji Haotian's power shifted, Ji Du instantly broke free from the Dragon's bonds. The dissipating smoke reformed, contracting to a single point, which ceaselessly morphed until Ji Du stood whole again.
"They want to kill Kongkong and steal the Eye of Chaos from him!" Ji Du immediately shouted upon recovery.
Ji Haotian nodded, beckoning with his hand. The space enveloping Ji Du instantaneously traversed layers of spatial barriers, settling beside Ji Changkong.
"Your reckless intrusion here leads only to death," Ji Haotian sneered. "You won't need me to act; you will soon realize what awaits you for entering this place! Over eons, even experts at the Ultimate Realm have endured untold hardship to reach the Source. Have you ever encountered those who entered before you? Have you sensed even a flicker of their aura?"
Kuang and his allies turned ashen-faced.
This was precisely what baffled and terrified them!
Before them, Ultimate Realm experts had entered the Source after passing various trials. Some of these, Kuang had witnessed personally. Yet, after entering the Source, they could not detect any trace of those individuals, nor see them.
This filled them with dread, hinting at a terrible truth. It was why they insisted on acquiring the power within Ji Changkong and the others—to avoid vanishing without a trace in the Source, as those who entered before them had.
"It seems you have guessed their fate," Ji Haotian roared with a grim laugh. "The Source is the beginning of all things, but also their end. Those who enter without obtaining the primordial power of Chaos, Tyr, Taixu, or the Mainframe will only see their power return to the Source. All previous entrants at the Ultimate Realm have ultimately perished here, dissolved into the released primordial force of the universe, every spiritual imprint utterly erased!"
Kuang was horrified.
"I won't need to fight you. You will soon follow in their footsteps," Ji Haotian bellowed with maniacal laughter.
Ji Haotian’s voice boomed loudly, heard not only by Kuang’s faction but also by Candice’s group and the Daoists attacking Ling Meng.
Like Kuang, these individuals were overcome with terror and attacked Ling Meng and No. 9 with even greater desperation.
Even Ling Meng’s master, seeing the situation, abandoned all restraint, crying out, "Strike hard! We must seize the power within Ling Meng, or our fate will be the same as those before us!"
"Too late!" Ji Haotian laughed wildly. "This place only allows entry, not exit. Once you enter, you can only be slowly unified, following the power of heaven and earth, returning from the starting point to the end point!"
Ji Haotian's words struck the hearts of the crowd like crashing waves, stirring immense turmoil.
Not only Kuang and the Five-Clawed Golden Dragon, but all surviving experts from various universes could no longer hold back; they unleashed their full might, pouring every ounce of their power into frantically attacking their targets.
No. 9 awoke.
A metallic sheen surrounded his body, roaring like ocean waves driven by nuclear energy. No. 9 opened his eyes, his gaze numb, and charged abruptly toward an individual.
He passed straight through!
No. 9’s body tore clean through the physique of an Ultimate Realm expert. After No. 9 passed, that person's power was completely drained, all life imprints reduced to nothingness.
Without any trace of human emotion, driven by a singular purpose of destruction, No. 9 began a massacre, targeting those who had previously besieged him.
This special metallic lifeform, No. 9, seemed incapable of perishing. Fueled by the stored energy of millennia of technological civilization's nuclear power stations, his body contained destructive force enough to annihilate several universes.
Within this power... lay the crystallized wisdom of the Mainframe. When activated by him, it was truly capable of devastating the heavens and earth. This was the primordial power of the Source, something these intruders were utterly incapable of resisting!
No. 9 moved like an indefatigable killing machine, shattering the panicked experts from the great universes one by one, obliterating their life imprints forever, leaving no possibility of rebirth.
Simultaneously, Ling Meng appeared to awaken from her slumber. She slowly opened her eyes, observing the dazzling, colorful array of Daoist arts raining down upon her, and looked at the cold, merciless, white-bearded old Daoist, sighing, "Master, I never thought you would actually move against me..."
Ling Meng shook her head sadly, resignation in her expression. "You forced my hand."
As she spoke, Ling Meng opened her mouth and exhaled streams of radiant light. These streams constantly split, multiplying into thousands of beams. Each beam contained the profound mystery of a specific Daoist art, and the power sustaining these lights came not only from the vital energy within Ling Meng's body but also, significantly, from the nuclear energy shared with No. 9.
Thousands of beams of light shot out, centered on Ling Meng, engulfing all the Daoist experts surrounding her.
Ling Meng closed her eyes. The beams of light seemed imbued with life. Each point of light transformed into a miniature Ling Meng, executing various gestures of Daoist spell casting within the radiance. Each miniature Ling Meng moved differently, yet they achieved a marvelous harmony, each beam containing Ling Meng's comprehension of the primordial power.
"Ten Thousand Laws Share One Root!" the white-bearded old Daoist shrieked in terror. "A power even I have failed to grasp!"
This was the old Daoist’s final utterance. The next moment, he was pierced through by the myriad beams of light. The rays flickered inside his body, his flesh and soul continuously fragmenting, breaking down into minute cells, which were then pierced again by the light points, finally becoming even smaller Ling Meng consciousness entities.
A trace of pity touched Ling Meng's face as she coldly watched these Daoist masters being systematically divided by the power she unleashed, ultimately dissolving into nothingness.
Only Zihan was spared.
"You lot should die too," Osos smiled faintly.
Candice and her group had all been reduced to children aged seven or eight, entirely devoid of the power of heaven and earth. Time had reversed for millennia; Osos had returned Candice and the others to their original, uncultivated state.
As Osos spoke, these small children, aged seven or eight, were instantly wrapped in balls of seven-colored light and refined into pools of blood. The blood was then vaporized by intense heat, vanishing completely into the Source.
Osos, Ling Meng, and No. 9 all awoke within the Source. Upon awakening, the three possessed world-destroying power and effortlessly annihilated those who had besieged them earlier.
"Thief! Return the chip that belongs to me!" After slaughtering the others, No. 9 finally fixed his gaze on Ling Meng and charged directly at her.
Ling Meng snorted and laughed coldly. "The power of the Mainframe should belong to me!"
Ling Meng attacked without reserve. The streams of radiant light instantly condensed, shrinking in a moment into a single point of light, which exploded like thunder. Billions of lightning bolts erupted from the point, snaking out like ropes to bind No. 9.
No. 9 remained expressionless. He raised his right arm, which instantly transformed into a cannon shimmering with crystallized light. The terrifying nuclear energy from the power stations shot forth from the cannon formed on his arm, fiercely bombarding the myriad lightning bolts released by Ling Meng.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
A cataclysmic explosion erupted from the point of impact between the two forces, the shockwaves rippling outward, spreading into the endless depths of the Source centered on that area.
Many Ultimate Realm experts confronting Ji Haotian happened to be struck by the residual waves. Their bodies were riddled with holes, and they screamed curses.
"Your power belongs to me, and I shall now reclaim what is mine," Osos declared, having eliminated Candice’s party. He turned towards Ji Haotian, walking slowly with a smile.
Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!
No. 9 and Ling Meng continued their furious battle. Their power streams shot in every direction, preventing Kuang and the Five-Clawed Golden Dragon from continuing their assault on Ji Changkong; they could only dodge frantically.
The Five-Clawed Golden Dragon, due to its massive size, sustained the most severe damage, becoming riddled with wounds and gradually weakening.
The titanic clash between Ling Meng and No. 9 triggered something unknown in the Source. Vortices in the void began emitting terrifying suction forces.
"This is bad!" Kuang exclaimed, his face darkening.
All experts who were not yet dead, but who lacked the primordial power of the four great beings—Chaos, Tyr, Mainframe, and Taixu—felt the power within their bodies being irresistibly drawn toward those vortices and violently pulled out.
Whether the Five-Clawed Golden Dragon, Kuang, or Zihan, the power within their bodies was rapidly draining away, being absorbed by the overhead vortices.
Only at this moment did Kuang and the others truly grasp the meaning of Ji Haotian's earlier words.
This place was both the beginning and the end of power. Those who should not have been here, insisting on entering, faced this inevitable conclusion.
They were powerless to change it!
"Zihan!" Ling Meng called out.
"Ling Meng, I can't hold on. I can’t help you. You... you must take care of yourself!" Deep affection shone in Zihan's eyes. Her body slowly weakened, yet a morbid radiance illuminated her face. "I am content to have reached this place with you. Ling Meng, live well! I have clung to you for so many years; you are finally free..."
Zihan's words held unspoken meaning.
"So it was two sapphics..." Ji Du muttered softly from a distance.
Soon, the power of all experts who had not obtained the imprint of the four great beings was reclaimed. Their bodies dissolved, their souls annihilated, absorbed by the vortices.
Concurrently, the Source began to seep out a strange oscillation.
This wave enveloped all universes, causing the myriad black holes connecting the Chaotic Sea of Realms to twist violently, expanding as they warped.
Stars, massive meteorites, dead stars, living stars, life-bearing planets, and mining worlds—all seemed influenced by the Source's power, flying out from different universes, drawn rapidly toward the Source.
The Chaotic Sea of Realms suddenly held billions of stars from different universes, moving without order. As they converged on the Source, they collided, resulting in colossal explosions every moment. The creatures upon those stars turned to ash instantly.
Countless stars, obeying the attraction of the Source, rushed toward it at frightening speeds.
New stars emerged from the black holes like bubbles being blown, inexhaustible. Dead stars, living stars, mining worlds, and life planets smashed into each other. The inhabitants on them watched in despair, yet they were unable to stop the tide.
The Dead Star Domain.
It was as if the stellar domain was collapsing. A violent fluctuation erupted from the abyss connecting to the Chaotic Sea of Realms. This fluctuation contained the ultimate principles of heaven and earth. The terrestrial power within the Dead Star Domain sensed a summons, gathering to propel the stars of that domain.
The terrestrial forces of all universes originated from the Chaotic Sea of Realms, from the Source. The Source's oscillation was manipulating the dispersed terrestrial power; this omnipresent force began to change in a truly world-shaking manner.
Stars within the Dead Star Domain began to move, pulled by the fluctuation of the Source’s power, rushing toward the abyss leading to the Chaotic Sea of Realms.
Every active star generated terrifying gravitational pull. The Celestial Masters living on these worlds noticed the change beneath their feet and tried to flee, only to find themselves unable to escape the stars’ gravity.
They could only watch helplessly as the stars moved.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
In the Star Abyss, several stars, moving toward the abyss leading to the Chaotic Sea of Realms, inadvertently collided. All Celestial Masters living on them, whether at the Ruyi Realm or the Divine Connection Realm, perished instantly.
The massive explosions of those few stars instilled profound terror in many observing from the Star Abyss, yet they remained powerless.
Night Moon Star.
Ditte of the Three-Eyed Clan suddenly arrived where Shang Bingjie and her group were cultivating, accompanied by Leo. Ditte announced, "Stay put on this star. I will try to alter the star's trajectory. Hopefully, we avoid collision with other stars!"
"What exactly is happening?" Gu Tan asked, astonished.
"I don't know," Ditte shook his head. "It's related to the Chaotic Sea of Realms. I just used my third eye to map the trajectories of the major stars; I saw many explosions. The power of heaven and earth is utterly chaotic now, beyond our control. Even I cannot stop the stars' movement; I can only barely adjust the trajectory to avoid our star meeting the fate of being annihilated!"
Gu Tan and Shang Bingjie turned pale. Li Hentian cried out, "Chang Kong is in the Chaotic Sea of Realms—could he be in danger?"
Ditte paused, then slowly shook his head. "I cannot say. I can only exert myself to maintain this star; I cannot control anything else."
"Cosmic Tribulation!" In the territory of the Sacred Beast Clan, the Qilin spoke heavily. "All clan members, pay attention! Mobilize all your power to continuously alter the trajectory of our territory. Whether our clan survives this Cosmic Tribulation depends on our efforts!"
"Focus, everyone! For the honor of the Ancient Demon Dragons, for the continuation of the race—you must be cautious!" Jilges roared, gathering all the Ancient Demon Dragons beside him.
Similar events unfolded in different parts of the great universes. Secondary experts who had not entered the Source also noticed the extraordinary changes in the terrestrial fabric and began making preparations.
In all universes, the same occurrence was happening. Influenced by the Source's power, their stars were all undergoing mutation, beginning to move and flying toward the abyss leading to the Chaotic Sea of Realms.
Furthermore, immense gravity erupted upon their stars, trapping inhabitants and making escape impossible.
All cultivators wandering through the Star River, upon nearing any star or even meteorite, were immediately adsorbed and then seemingly bound by the celestial body, unable to move further.
Within the Source.
Ling Meng and the liquid metal entity No. 9 continued their confrontation, while Osos steadily approached Ji Haotian, only to be repeatedly blocked by the spatial barriers Ji Haotian erected, preventing Osos from nearing him and Ji Changkong.
In the endless expanse of the Source, only six beings remained: Ji Changkong, Osos, Ling Meng, No. 9, Ji Haotian, and Ji Du. It was clear that all six carried the imprints of the four great beings, thus remaining unaffected by the Source’s power.
Osos charged towards Ji Haotian. Layers of overlapping, distinct spaces manifested. Osos entered these successive spaces but could not get any closer.
However, Osos was not discouraged; instead, he chuckled softly, showing no haste.
"Why not confront him directly?" Ji Du asked after watching for a while.
Ji Haotian's mouth twitched, and he offered a wry smile. "I only obtained half of Tyr's power, whereas he has the other half, plus a chip from the Mainframe, granting him the nuclear capacity stored for eons. In a direct clash, I would be absorbed by him quickly."
"You are no match for him?" Ji Du mumbled, taken aback.
Ji Haotian nodded helplessly. "Indeed, I am not his match. Therefore, I can only employ this method to stall for time, hoping to buy enough time for Changkong."
"We were originally one entity. The power you know, though I haven't fully mastered it, being within your spatial construct allows me to quickly grasp the true meaning of spatial manipulation," Osos’s voice projected accurately as he traversed the different spaces. "It won't take long before you find it hard to contain me, because I will learn the spatial power you understand—after all, it is also my power."
Ji Haotian's expression turned grim.
"Is what he said true?" Ji Du asked.
"If he could transmit his voice, he must be speaking the truth," Ji Haotian sighed, turning his head to glance at Ji Changkong.
"Why isn't Kongkong awake yet? If he doesn't get the core power, will he really not be a match for those guys?" Ji Du asked with concern.
"I don't know either," Ji Haotian admitted, feeling uncertain. "However, since he hasn't awakened by now, I believe the power hidden within him must be no less than anyone else's. All I need to do is buy him enough time."
"You have no time left." Oros's voice arrived with unnerving accuracy. He took a step, crossing layers of space, and suddenly stood directly before Ji Haotian.
"How could you possibly get out this fast?" Ji Haotian's expression shifted.
"I told you, you and I are one. Your power is my power, and I have acquired a chip from the Brain of Wisdom, absorbing eons of its stored nuclear energy. My learning capacity is beyond your imagination." Oros smiled and reached out toward Ji Haotian from a distance.
A cluster of brilliant, multicolored flame suddenly erupted from within Ji Changkong, wrapping tightly around Oros's reaching hand.
The power of time, under the influence of that flame, was forcefully halted. Even that terrifying nuclear energy was instantly annihilated.
"The Fire of Origin!" Oros coldly snorted. "It seems he has reached the final stage. I cannot give him a chance to be reborn."
"Ji Yuan, have your Nine Fires merged?" Ji Du exclaimed.
"Yes, I have completely fused. Ji Du, enter the Master's body; you are the final step, the key to condensing the Master's entire being. Hurry!" Ji Yuan cried out urgently.
"Boy, if you enter his body, you will cease to exist afterward. You will become a part of him, forever a subordinate, with no consciousness of your own. Boy, think it over clearly!" Oros, while fending off Ji Yuan's assault—refining threads of nuclear energy into electric light that lashed into Ji Yuan’s body—did not forget to warn Ji Du coldly.
Ji Du froze.
He had considered this possibility. He vaguely understood this was his ultimate destination. Hearing Oros say it aloud finally brought the critical issue into focus: if he integrated into Ji Changkong's body, Ji Changkong might awaken, might achieve Chaotic Unity, but he himself stood a chance of complete erasure.
On one side, Ji Changkong; on the other, himself. Ji Du hesitated.
"If you don't merge with the Master, the Master cannot awaken; the Master will surely die," Ji Yuan shrieked. "Furthermore, you will ultimately be absorbed by Oros, and he will use you against the Master! Ji Du, think carefully!"
Images flashed through Ji Du's mind.
The first time he met Ji Changkong, fighting side-by-side, growing together, their multiple clashes with the Ghost Demon King, relying on each other on the star where the Ancestral Demon resided...
On Black Prison Star, Ji Changkong had risked offending several experts of the Chaos Realm for his sake, snatching him back from the brink of destruction. Because of him, Ji Changkong had been forced into the Chaotic Sea of Realms...
Past events flashed through Ji Du’s mind, again and again...
Ji Du finally made up his mind, smiled, and plunged headlong into Ji Changkong's body, entering the final integration phase within the Tianyuan Pearl without reservation...
Ji Yuan transformed into the Fire of Origin, entwining Oros, their powers clashing to prevent Oros from unleashing his time manipulation and nuclear energy.
Oros remained composed, opening up various dimensions in the palm of his hand, dragging the Fire of Origin into different spaces, making it difficult for the flame to unleash its full power.
Oros looked at Ji Haotian and chuckled, "You will become a part of me; this is destiny!"
"Destiny is not yours to command," Ji Haotian suddenly laughed. "The source is the primordial life, known as the Taichu. The Taichu gave birth to four great life forms: Chaos, Tyle, the Brain of Wisdom, and the Great Void. Chaos controls the primal forces of life and destruction; Tyle controls the primal forces of time and space; the Brain of Wisdom controls the primal force of creation; and the Great Void controls the primal force of fusion. After Chaos, Tyle, and the Brain of Wisdom broke away from the Taichu, their powers gradually strengthened, and they began evolving life forms, attempting to break free from the Taichu. Therefore, the Taichu eventually nurtured the Great Void and endowed it with the primal force of fusion. The existence of the Great Void is what brings everything back to its proper place. You and I were originally one; you can dissolve me, but the fusion power of the Great Void can just as easily merge me!"
"You dare!" Oros's face changed drastically.
Ji Haotian smiled. "I am inferior to you; I haven't obtained the Brain of Wisdom's chip, but I can choose to whom I entrust my power. My son has obtained the power of Chaos and the Great Void. Chaos is the beginning, the Great Void is the end. Coupled with half of the Tyle power residing in me, once he awakens, let's see what you can use to fight him!"
With that, Ji Haotian dissolved into a point of light, surging into Ji Changkong's body and vanishing inside the Tianyuan Pearl.
Oros finally felt true fear. He urgently cried out, "Ling Meng, Number Nine, why are you fighting? Once Chaos and the Great Void merge, plus half of the Tyle power, all of us will be forced back into alignment! Come and help!"
Oros's shout startled Ling Meng and Number Nine awake. After their own awakening, they seemed to grasp the sequence of events. Hearing this, their expressions shifted immediately; they stopped fighting and rushed toward the center.
The Fire of Origin alone was struggling to contain Oros. With Ling Meng and Number Nine arriving, the Fire of Origin knew it could no longer stop the three of them. It immediately flew out of Oros's body and also plunged into Ji Changkong, merging into the Tianyuan Pearl.
Whoosh! Whoosh!
From the vortex in the Source, dead stars, mineral planets, life-bearing worlds, and meteorites flew in. These celestial bodies emerged and began to drift within the Source, following specific trajectories.
Before entering the Source, all stars would collide and explode. However, once inside, they seemed governed by defined paths. All the stars rotated rapidly, yet none exploded; everything was orderly.
In the Source, only Ji Changkong, Ling Meng, Oros, and Number Nine remained.
Oros, Ling Meng, and Number Nine surrounded Ji Changkong with hostile expressions, while Ji Changkong remained with closed eyes, still unconscious.
"Annihilate him first, then the three of us can continue our battle!" Oros proposed.
Ling Meng and Number Nine both nodded.
Oros smiled slightly, unleashing his power of time, while terrifying nuclear energy erupted. Ling Meng released thousands of light beams simultaneously, each carrying the profound truths of various Dao Arts, with nuclear energy blooming within them. Number Nine did not hesitate, turning his arm into a light cannon that instantly discharged nuclear energy.
As soon as the three exerted their power, terrifying tempests swept through the Source, disturbing the vortex within, causing many newly emerged stars to shatter, instantly extinguishing the lives within them.
The power of the three converged upon a single point, focusing on Ji Changkong.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
A world-ending ripple exploded from that single point. The aftershock spread outward, striking the stars in the Source, causing one after another to shatter, scattering the souls of countless beings across the void.
After the explosion, the faces of Oros and the other two changed abruptly.
There was no trace of Ji Changkong in the area of the blast. As the three grew uneasy, a tiny point of light appeared where he had been. That point continuously expanded, and in just a short time, it transformed into Ji Changkong.
"He really acquired Tyle's spatial power!" Oros said coldly.
Ji Changkong's expression was serene. His body was covered in dense scales, and an eye in his brow shone with dazzling divine light. Wherever the light passed, the soul power of the billions of lives extinguished there was instantly absorbed by his body, becoming the source of his strength.
His body continued to change. Under the gaze of the three, his acupoints glowed profusely, and miniature worlds flickered into existence from each one. His acupoints madly absorbed the energy of the Source, and the power he commanded grew ever stronger.
He pointed a finger at the three. Marvelous worlds emerged from his fingertips, each one displaying magnificent scenery, living creatures, great mountains, and rivers. These worlds radiated vigorous vitality and continually grew larger, flying toward Oros, Ling Meng, and Number Nine, intending to drag them into the fabricated worlds.
He opened his mouth and spat out incredibly huge suns, carrying scorching heat capable of incinerating everything. Each sun radiated the ultimate power of the Fire of Origin—the heat from the fusion of the Nine Source Fires—engulfing Oros, Ling Meng, and Number Nine.
With a wave of his hand, countless ultimate meanings of heaven and earth manifested in the void. Some were Dao Arts, some were magical crystals, but most were the divine abilities of Celestial Masters. Thousands upon thousands of divine abilities zipped and weaved between the marvelous worlds and the gaps between the suns, flying toward Oros, Ling Meng, and Number Nine.
"Merge!" Ji Changkong commanded softly.
The countless divine abilities originating from the Celestial Master, Magic, and Dao Art civilizations merged one after another. The suns, each releasing world-destroying, scorching energy, also fused one by one. Even the different worlds became interconnected.
Finally, when all the worlds were connected, a colossal sun slammed down, forcibly pushing the trio into that world. The myriad fused divine abilities—each fusion doubling the power, multiplied by billions—carried a force sufficient to annihilate a thousand universes simultaneously.
"Great Void World Annihilation!" Ji Changkong commanded again.
Within that world, the fused divine abilities were finally brought to bear upon Oros, Ling Meng, and Number Nine, instantly shattering their physical bodies. However, their souls remained undestroyed, and the embedded chips still shone brightly.
"Refine!"
The fused colossal sun absorbed the single, unified divine mystery of heaven and earth, then split again, gracefully transforming into countless miniature universes that wrapped around the three souls, beginning to unleash the power of refinement upon everything.
The fusion of the Nine Chaos Mysteries—a power truly capable of destroying all life—was the ultimate divine ability of the Soul Extinction technique, unleashed by Ji Changkong.
In the countless miniature universes, forces such as lightning, flame, frost, destruction, death, and earth surged forth. These various powers were again fused under Ji Changkong's Soul Extinction technique and applied entirely to the three souls.
After an unknown amount of time, the vast world continuously contracted, becoming smaller and smaller, finally condensing into a beam of light. The light burst open, revealing three chips and a rhombus-shaped fragment bearing Tyle's imprint of temporal truth.
Ji Changkong opened his mouth and swallowed the three chips and the time fragment imprinted with Tyle's mark, then sat down cross-legged on the spot.
Time quietly slipped by.
After a long, long while, Ji Changkong slowly awoke and murmured, "The Four Gods are united; the power of the Taichu merges into me. From this day forward, I shall control the ultimate laws of the universe, set right the disorder of this chaotic cosmos, and restore the past."
He spat out a mouthful of blood, which divided into two. Gathering the primordial forces from heaven and earth, he slowly condensed two figures.
These were Ji Du and Ji Yuan; they possessed Ji Changkong's bloodline but were now completely human.
"Kongkong!" "Master!" The two little figures shouted together.
"You will never perish. As long as I exist, you will never be destroyed. Even if all universes crumble, I will remain eternal!" Ji Changkong laughed.
As he spoke, Ji Changkong pointed, and a star within the Source suddenly flew before him.
On that star were Shang Bingjie, Gu Dan, and Li Hentian.
With a flicker of movement, he stood before the three and smiled, "Grandfather, you are safe and sound, so I won't need to waste energy."
"Changkong, what's wrong with you?" Gu Dan asked strangely.
"Grandfather, do you wish to see your mother? My mother?" Ji Changkong asked with a smile.
Gu Dan froze. "She passed away ten million years ago, her soul completely scattered. How could it be possible to see her again..."
"In my hands, nothing is impossible anymore," Ji Changkong smiled.
In an unfamiliar universe, he reached across tens of millions of spatial layers to capture a wandering, tiny speck of light. He forcibly brought that light to this place, condensing a sharp ray of light upon it. The speck continuously swelled, and a beautiful, delicate young woman slowly materialized, utterly captivating.
"Ling'er!" Gu Dan wept, murmuring, "How is this possible? How is this possible..."
"Father." The light points on the maiden's body vanished, and she awoke, looking utterly bewildered. "I... I didn't I die already? What is happening here?"
"I will bring Father back too," Ji Changkong smiled. He took a drop of his own fresh blood and reshaped a physical body for Ji Haotian, restoring all the scattered fragments of his soul to resurrect him.
"Ling'er!" Ji Haotian saw Gu Yueling at once and rushed forward to embrace her madly. "Ling'er, you—you're here? You, you..." Ji Haotian stammered incoherently.
Dite, Li Hentian, Shang Bingjie, and the others watched, dumbfounded.
Ji Changkong's expression remained unchanged. With a casual grab, a star from an unimaginable distance was forcibly ripped from outside the Source and integrated perfectly into the Night Moon Star.
"Changkong!" Ji Changkong's grandfather, Ji Yusheng, exclaimed in disbelief. "How can you be here?"
Beside him were Mo Yunyi, Ji Wanyun, Gui Hai, Bai Qingya, Ayiguli, Heli Xuan, Zhou Qiangwei, Ji Changxiao, Yu Ziling, and other familiar faces who should have been on the Five Elements Continent.
He had forcibly snatched the immensely distant Five Elements Continent and merged it with the Night Moon Star.
Employing the same technique, a massive meteorite descended from the endless void and was integrated into the colossal star. From the heart of that meteorite walked Tongtian Ghost Mother and the clansmen of the Purgatory Ghost Race...
All his old friends and relatives were brought to this star by the twisting of his primal power, becoming part of this celestial body. As the rule-maker for all universes, with a single thought, he could alter everything, controlling the rules of life and death, creation and destruction, at will.
He could instantly destroy worlds or create them with a thought; he was omnipotent.
He had become the Taichu, the sole God of all universes.
(The End)
P: It's finished. Perhaps it feels a bit rushed, but I believe I have written everything I intended to. My sincere thanks to all the readers who followed along. Little Ni truly thanks you all. You accompanied me for over a year; I genuinely must thank you. I don't know what to say, but I know it was you who gave me immense help, allowing me to persevere until now. Thank you!!
I started in 2007, and in a flash, four years have passed. I've written books one after another for four years without a proper rest. Now that this book is finished, I plan to spend a month accompanying my wife and resting well. The new book will be released at the end of next month, and I hope to still have your companionship then.
Thanks again!
