Jin Meili was most astonished. She pointed at the retreating figure and stammered, "He... he... he stood up!"
The other women laughed, "This is our real husband! If he gave up so easily when his limbs were broken, why would he ever boast about being a superman? This time, let's see what Peng Hu can endure."
According to Peng Hu's plan, they would accompany the Jinchuo Kingdom prince through underground secret passages for rest and regrouping. Then both sides would devise a strategy to conquer Shuangcheng together, leaving details of dividing spoils for later discussion.
The heavy weight in Peng Hu's chest was finally lifted. He felt remarkably light despite the failed coup attempt. But he harbored no regrets - the world had always been full of uncertainties. If things were too easily won, what would be the fun? As long as that obnoxious official Ma was defeated, there'd be smooth sailing ahead.
A captain from the imperial guards asked, "Chancellor Peng, will those royalist troops chase after us? Shouldn't we let Jinchuo warriors shield us first?"
Peng Hu laughed, "They certainly will pursue. But they'll need time to finish their rescue operations. Never imagined that boy could be so resilient - he didn't utter a sound when he maimed himself. Honestly, I admire his strength. Now with his limbs gone, any future fight would have to rely on strategy and national power. With Jinchuo Kingdom and Wanma Kingdom's support, taking Shuangcheng will surely be effortless. Send out the signal to Jinchuo prince for front-line rendezvous."
The captain immediately obeyed while Peng Hu laughed up to sky, "Surnamed Zhao! What can you do to me? When Jinchuo redeploys their forces, those paltry troops in Shuangcheng will merely be our playthings! You love women so much - I'll cut you open piece by piece then bury you with all your concubines. Let you rot in a pile of corpses forever!"
"Thank you!" A thunderclap voice suddenly pierced Peng Hu's ear, causing him to convulse and fall off his horse.
"You... how are you still alive? Without arms or legs yet walking freely?"
I laughed heartily, "Chancellor Peng, did you really think I'd die so easily? You were kind enough to want me buried with all the beauties. Well then, let's make this reunion pleasant."
Booming sounds erupted as Peng Hu's guards sensed danger and surged forward. Sitting on his former horse (not actually Peng Hu's), I had already unfastened a rope from the saddle. Throwing it over him like lasso, I clamped my legs against the horse's belly and dragged Peng Hu back through rebel lines at breakneck speed.
The advancing imperial guards slammed into an invisible killing wall. Cries of pain erupted as most soldiers were maimed or killed outright. The warhorse dragged its victim through enemy ranks unimpeded while Peng Hu screamed like a butchered pig, attracting desperate rescuers who soon discovered something wrong - their heads seemed perpetually attacked by toxic mist. One after another they died in the fog.
My pursuit was fueled more by rage than strategy. Though physically intact I'd lost significant blood and depleted massive energy reserves. When distant allies confirmed Peng Hu's silence, my consciousness relaxed and I slumped forward on the horse, eyes closing involuntarily.
In sleep I dreamt sweetly of returning home to Earth where each wife surrounded me with affection while our son waved tiny hands shouting "Dad!" That feeling was heavenly... until waking up in Cheng Suxu's arms. Her chest always gave me the safest sense when cuddling there.
"Suxu, did my husband wake yet? Breakfast is ready," Zhou Ni knocked lightly on the door.
Cheng Suxu shifted her numb arm slightly, "Not yet. You all go ahead and eat first. I'll stay with him a bit longer."
Zhou Ni protested, "But many are waiting for him! Shouldn't you at least wake him up after breakfast?"
Cheng Suxu whispered softly, "He's sleeping so peacefully... I can't bear to disturb his rest."
I secretly licked a red mole on her cheek. Cheng Suxu jerked slightly before whispering, "Husband, did my talking disturb your sleep?"
I shook head, "What time is it now?"
Cheng Suxu replied, "Morning! You fainted when returning last night and slept soundly ever since. The sisters insisted I accompany you while Zhou Ni is calling us for breakfast."
Grabbing her 36G curves, I mused, "Time to get up. Why didn't anyone wake me last night? Such a waste of beautiful moments..."
Cheng Suxu let my hands roam, even hugging tighter, "Since everyone's safe, you can do whatever you want. One night won't matter."
I nodded while dressing. "Suxu, has your memory returned?"
She was putting on clothes as well, "Almost all. Husband, did you actually lose your memory? Why then do you still recognize me?"
Teasingly I said, "Ximen Yan told me we're married. But honestly I don't remember any details about our marriage."
Cheng Suxu's face paled slightly, "No! You really forgot us all? Then why did you fight desperately to save us last night?"
I shrugged, "Even strangers deserve rescue when they're as beautiful as you. The first moment I saw your full-figured sensuality, I was already captivated."
Cheng Suxu stared at me skeptically. I retorted, "Staring? We shared a bed last night. Are you trying to back out now?"
Without finishing her clothes she hugged my back from behind, "Even if you remember nothing else, I'll never leave you husband."
Actually most memories had returned with cell recovery - just wanted to tease Cheng Suxu. Didn't expect her to take it so seriously. After dressing we reached the living room where Ma Da and his son were waiting for breakfast, explaining why Zhou Ni suggested delaying my sleep.
Ma Da stood up when I entered but I hastily stopped him. Regardless of his status, I needed explanations about Ma Xiaorui and Ma Xiaowei at least. Letting in-laws bow to me was absurd.
"Minister Zhao," Ma Da took my hand after prolonged hesitation before murmuring incoherently.
Ma Xiada added, "Father, if you don't know what to say then just keep quiet. Since he's my brother-in-law, helping us is natural. Now rebellion has been quelled and Peng Hu captured. We should immediately resume governance and send envoys to borders. If Jinchuo Kingdom indeed allied with Wanma Kingdom last night as planned, border situation might be dire..."
Ma Da turned to son, "Xiada, I'm happy seeing you matured enough to rule. There's no need for coming-of-age ceremony. Let me abdicate now - Father is tired and wants to retire."
Ma Xiada blurted out, "Father! You're joking right? I'm just twelve years old... How could I possibly govern?"
Ma Da explained, "Shuangcheng needs a bold young leader like you. My outdated thinking and poor personnel decisions caused this chaos. Hope you can restore some of Father's lost dignity."
Ma Xiada insisted, "I really can't do it! Those ministers won't listen to me!"
Ma Da countered, "This isn't impulsive decision-making. That's why I mentioned it before Minister Zhao. Concerns about disobedient ministers? They all face capital punishment charges anyway. Today's court is filled with your loyalists and Minister Zhao's old subordinates who are both brave and wise. With their support, which minister would dare oppose you? This is perfect opportunity for government reshuffle."
They didn't need my participation until Ma Xiada dragged me into it: "Brother-in-law, do you think I can manage? You and Fifteenth Sister will help right? Not make fun of me?"
Before responding I already wanted to return home - even the god-creator seemed irrelevant now. Last night's dream made me ache for Earth-bound family. But before replying someone called out: "Younger Brother, don't let Father down. Older Sister won't mock you."
It was Ma Xiaowei entering with a slight touch on her neck, "With Qingqing all is fine - she overreacted by wasting life-saving needle unnecessarily."
I asked, "How's your injury?"
Ma Xiaowei bowed respectfully to both fathers before adding, "Zhao Qian, since Father approved our marriage and Xiada is now my younger brother, please assist him."
"Reigning emperor is not something I know how to help with," I replied.
Ma Xiaowei insisted, "Just say one word of support. Then Xiada will feel fearless."
I chuckled, "So effective?"
"Certainly!" she winked. "Try it yourself."
Turning to Ma Xiada I declared, "Okay then... I'm behind you!"
His face lit up and he turned to his father: "Father! With brother-in-law's support I'll accept the mandate!"
They had me in some kind of trap again. Better not end up with another official title - I have neither ambition nor interest. Though maybe a women's federation position could be considered...
After waking, my wives and palace maids quickly prepared breakfast. Ma Da and Xiada naturally remained for meal too. Their early visit moved me deeply given his royal status.
Dining table was naturally full of tender care from eight mistresses while the overall atmosphere of countless beauties surrounding me would make any man envious. Eight main ladies already present plus Linglong, Ma Xiaowei, Ma Xiaorui, Ximen Yan, Jin Meili filled the large table. Xiao Yu stubbornly refused to come - preferring staying in war chariot fearing her fish tail might embarrass others.
After brief discussion, Ma Da and Xiada returned to Changle Palace for handover procedures with Lin Gu's help. Now I wanted situation assessment before returning to Mermaid Kingdom and Dwarven Kingdom regarding god-creator resistance plans.
Ma Xiaowei and Ma Xiaorui stayed in dining hall where several women kept eyeing me curiously. Finally Ma Xiaorui asked hesitantly, "What is your name?"
I nearly fell off chair, "What do you mean?"
Ma Xiaorui looked at others, "Oh no! He forgot his own name!"
Yun Yao objected, "How could he? Last night he fought for us... Would strangers risk lives for random women?"
Ma Xiaorui turned to Qianqian: "Sister Qianqian, do you think something's wrong with him?"
Ouyang Qian smirked at me before replying, "I'm unsure. He often forgets who I am. You should quickly help restore his memory - perhaps recounting old stories helps trigger memories? Like how you met and private moments shared."
Ma Xiaorui blushed, "All those things? Let my sister do it instead..."
Ouyang Qian insisted, "Best if they're secrets only the two of you know. That would most effectively heal deep memory wounds."
Ouch - Ouyang Qian was definitely up to no good. I coughed then listed everyone's names before declaring, "Alright! All memories are there for now. Let's discuss current situation - one thing to mention: this planet has extraterrestrials! Other alien beings have already attacked intelligent life here. Time is short. After resolving Shuangcheng-Wanma-Jinchuo issues we must rapidly develop technology against these invaders."
This was news to several women who momentarily froze. Though aware of their own alien origins, learning there were other alien species caused shock - especially since they seemed hostile.
Ouyang Qian already knew details so didn't react while sharing what happened after my blackout last night: Xiao Yu had annihilated 50 thousand rebel guards and Jinchuo black soldiers with 500 fish-whale warships, leaving not a single survivor. Advanced weaponry made this victory awkward to discuss - it was one-sided carnage though they deserved it.
Most women's belongings remained intact since they were taken without personal items (left in Zhao mansion or Ma Xiaowei's palace). Yun Yao showed me photo of mummy-like figure on phone: "Peng Hu! You dragged him back last night with every piece of skin ruined. After bandaging he looked like this. Such pain somewhat eased our hatred toward him."
I said, "Miraculously alive considering his age and being dragged... Better finish torturing him later to satisfy my anger fully though."
Zhou Ni glanced at Hua Qingqing before reporting: "Zhao Brother, while you talked with Emperor I checked border situation with Qingqing. Wanma Kingdom indeed attacked as planned with Jinchuo. Kong, Sun and Cheng generals have returned to their posts so border should be okay."
I nodded, "Trust in them but let's talk to Xiao Yu regardless. If she agrees best - resolve this quickly before they waste more time."
Hua Qingqing added: "I want to accompany Xiao Yu back to Mermaid Kingdom for foot surgery using advanced medical equipment there. Only then will she agree to help us otherwise always hides away inconveniently."
Nodded, "Proceed if confident. Fish-whale translation requires her presence and she wants surface life long enough to justify this favor repayment."
Yun Yao suggested: "Zhao Mansion is now safe. Should we return? Shishi and Shuang sisters already cleaned it up!"
I replied, "Stay here for now while helping Xiada stabilize Shuangcheng Kingdom. Ximen Yan, let's use your influence to bring Jinchuo and Wanma Kings."
Ximen Yan apologetically said: "Zhao Qian... Sorry again about not rescuing you this time. I'll definitely deliver results this time!"
Ouyang Qian had already explained her identity so other women comforted her: "Yan Yan, it's nothing! Peng Hu was just too sly plus how would we have seen his self-sacrifice scene without him? You actually gave him chance to shine."
Ximen Yan knew they were consoling her but remembered their tense reactions during her injuries.
"Thank you sisters... Rest assured I'll succeed this time!"
Zhou Ni added, "I'll fly spaceship for rescue. Let's capture them tonight and force treaty signing under city walls."
Ximen Yan nodded, "If spaceship support better even, though need first reconnaissance to maximize success."
I raised hand stopping both women: "Hold on! Better let me handle this - can't risk my heart again!"
Yun Yao laughed: "Brother Zhao, situation isn't that dangerous. We were tricked by Peng Hu's ambush and window poison last time. Now we're in shadows while Jinchuo/Wanma are exposed..."
Though safety concerns existed I finally approved their plan given Dao Cai's super abilities making direct confrontation feasible. After meeting Ximen Yan and Zhou Ni left for mission while Hua Qingqing searched for Xiao Yu (might not return tonight). Yun Yao organized new bodyguard unit plus needed to reconstitute East Factory, Horse Administration Bureau, and Inner Court Guards - but now with A San, Si, Mao and Gou's independent capabilities I just needed to guide operations.
Gou's legs couldn't regenerate like mine. Last night Hua Qingqing had performed surgery using warship equipment though might not fully reconnect all veins and nerves. Walking would be possible albeit likely limping.
Palace chaos meant no one managed Ma Xiaowei sisters yet. Though modest with other wives present, Ma Xiaowei obediently helped while her sister followed me everywhere. When Linglong noticed this she gave in to childish curiosity too so we had three "pesky" companions going from East Factory to Horse Administration Bureau and finally flying to Lake Yang ironworks - planning to use Mermaid/Dwarven equipment for weapons production making this iron foundry obsolete soon, better arrange worker transition early.
"You really drifted many days at sea? Must have been fun right?" Ma Xiaorui curiously asked while sitting beside Linglong in co-pilot seat.
"Did Ouyang Qian tell you about that?" I inquired.
Ma Xiaorui replied, "Yes! She said the dwarf princess was very... flirtatious and openly seduced you!"
Linglong blushed accusingly: "Ma Xiaorui you're lying! Sister Qianqian definitely didn't use 'flirtatious' word. You deliberately started trouble. Sir please ignore her."
Last night's unity had vanished into typical rivalry between Ximen Yan and Xiao Yu - these two girls were clearly competing again. To prevent argument I distracted them by suggesting flight training: "Didn't you always want to learn spaceship flying? Today let me teach you!"
"Really?!" Both faces lit up with near-ecstatic expressions. Ma Xiaorui declared, "Should have taught me earlier! If I knew how to fly then Peng Hu would be dead already!"
Linglong matched her enthusiasm: "I'd definitely make his mother not recognize him!"
I couldn't help laughing at Linglong's adorable "his mother" phrasing - suddenly feeling overjoyed and eager to embrace both girls. But worrying about jealousy (they were small-minded), obvious favoritism would upset one or the other. Plus, only Ma Xiaowei knew about my relationship with Ma Xiaorui...
I stood from my seat and said, "Come on, one of you take the pilot's seat, the other the co-pilot. It's simple flying—just keep direction and altitude stable. Xiaorui, you first."
I chose Ma Xiaorui first because she was sitting in plain sight at the co-pilot position, unlike Linglong who'd have to squeeze out from somewhere. But I hadn't realized this made her tail waggle with delight nor did she spare a provocative glance for Linglong - such childishness without scheming, even if you thought you gained advantage, showing off like that would definitely make Linglong angry.
Ma Xiaorui sat and tugged my arm, "Uncle-in-law, sit on my lap to teach me better."
Linglong shot me one look, huffed and turned away. I told Xiaorui, "Be serious or I won't let you learn. Do you really need to ride your own lap? Besides, we're bound by propriety as uncle-in-law - what would your sister say if she knew?"
Xiaorui flashed Linglong a knowing look before turning back to me with, "Alright then, start teaching me Uncle-in-law."
Since I'd modified this ship's controls myself, it was easy to learn. A single joystick worked like a game controller with four directions, plus another stick for altitude adjustment. All pilots needed was coordinating them properly. After explaining the basics to Xiaorui, I let her handle it herself - we were in midair anyway, worst case would be colliding into some birds or clouds.
Xiaorui caught on quickly after one demonstration. As she flew around with erratic altitudes, I hovered near her chair for support, my body conveniently blocking Linglong's view. I knew she was mentally cursing Xiaorui right now, thinking she was flirting - after all, Linglong didn't classify Xiaorui as an official wife yet. Her attitude toward this girl remained like her other wives' but not vice versa.
Lowering to check Xiaorui's flying posture, my gaze accidentally caught her neckline. Lately it seemed she'd become more revealing in fashion choices. Though restricted by royal protocol to wear a fancy suit on the outside, looking down through that wide neckline revealed only a small emerald green bra underneath.
This was getting too much even for me - if Ma Da saw this he'd scold her. Girls could dress provocatively all they wanted but at minimum should have a proper chemise under their outerwear. But there Xiaorui stood in just that tiny bra, its bright hue peeking through as she moved, each motion releasing waves of intoxicating fragrance from the exposed fabric - that pure royal scent was expected.
"Uncle-in-law, aren't I smart learning so fast and well... Uncle-in-law..."
I quickly averted my eyes from Xiaorui's neckline but it was too late. She noticed my gaze direction immediately, blushed slightly but stayed silent before doing something that nearly made me stumble backward - she reached up to her collar and unfastened the first button, exposing a third of that emerald green bra. Underneath where the fabric couldn't cover everything completely, soft curves began peeking out.
"Uncle-in-law, give me more guidance..." Xiaorui pouted seductively before grabbing my hand and pressing it against her chest. Her body had long been intimately familiar to me but this context was different - Linglong remained unaware of our prior relationship and now the situation carried an air of secret assignation.
I mumbled incoherently, keeping my hand from sliding lower under pretense of teaching Xiaorui since Linglong's gaze remained fixed behind me. Two women were always ready to fight at a moment's notice.
Xiaorui seemed displeased with my hesitance and pulled her collar down further until half her chest was exposed before throwing me another sultry look, one that resembled a prostitute luring men in. Remembering Xiaorui's royal status was shocking enough - she claimed others were "promiscuous" but now it turned out she was the real one, an underage little minx deliberately seducing men. Fortunately her target happened to be me.
I shot Xiaorui a warning glance about Linglong behind us while she made an indifferent hmm and covertly tugged down her bra further still as she spoke, "Uncle-in-law, do I look nice? Oh wait, I mean my flying skill - though it can't match my sisters yet since I'm still so young. Don't worry, when I grow up a bit more I'll definitely surpass them."
With half of her chest exposed and that bright red small bra clearly visible, her words were unmistakably asking if I found her breasts attractive while hinting at their size being due to youth rather than natural inferiority.
I stammered awkwardly, "Ah... no, smallness isn't a flaw anyway - everyone has different preferences like cabbages and greens."
Linglong behind me asked confusedly, "What are you two talking about? That makes no sense."
Xiaorui batted her big eyes at me, "Uncle-in-law, my sister is so lucky. One day I'll find a husband just like you."
Linglong huffed, "Then marry your Lord Ma - he's a pig who doesn't care about sizes anyway."
"Great idea!" Xiaorui immediately agreed.
"I'll go ask those sisters of yours later."
Realizing her mistake Linglong quickly countered, "No way! Your father would never agree to two princesses marrying one groom. That's impossible!"
Xiaorui scoffed, "Who needs your approval? I'll just consult my younger brother the Emperor - after all he's currently ruling and his orders are unquestionable."
Linglos snapped back, "Don't take this seriously! Our Lord Ma is perverted to his core. Haven't you heard Sister Qian complain about him bullying Ximen Ya? Hes even little kids. You're going to suffer night after night of his abuse!"
Xiaorui purred, "I'm willing to be abused by him - are you jealous now? Prove it by letting Zhao Qian abuse you."
"You! Xiaorui, no way will you marry our Lord!"
"What right do you have to decide? My father and brother don't care about me. Not even my older sister has any say over me. What business is this of yours?"
I slammed the control panel and barked, "Enough! Yesterday you two were getting along just fine yet now you're fighting over nothing. It's merely a joke - if you can't keep learning let's return to Shuangcheng immediately!"
The two girls lowered their voices in fear, "We'll continue learning of course! We didn't mean any jokes anyway since we were telling the truth."
I glared at Xiaorui who promptly shut up and blinked out an actual tear. Moved by sympathy I gently caressed her exposed half-chest before asking, "Have you learned it yet?"
Xiaorui immediately seized my hand and pulled it deeper into her cleavage. Since our relationship was far from innocent this time I didn't resist but let the hand slide under that emerald green bra. Though handmade it was still meticulously crafted with appropriate tightness that accentuated her little perky breasts perfectly, giving just the right satisfying grip.
Xiaorui's body was intensely alluring and combined with my own lack of recent contact she responded shamelessly with a low moan. Linglong behind me asked urgently, "Xiaorui are you ill? Feeling seasick? If not I can take over."
I reluctantly withdrew my hand and said, "You've learned enough Xiaorui. Let Linglong take it now so both of you know how to fly - though this crude control panel will soon be outdated so we'll probably need retraining later."
The two girls agreed easily, "No worries! Just teach us again later after learning this first."
Xiaorui knew she'd occupied the pilot seat long enough and stood up. I gave her rear a gentle poke while warning with my gaze about that exposed cleavage. But to my shock Xiaorui ignored me completely as she pushed past me with that same revealing posture.
With limited cockpit space, Linglong and Xiaorui had no choice but to switch seats face-to-face. "You shameless hussy! You're flirting with Lord Ma!" Linglong finally exploded.
Xiaorui remained calm and smiled instead, "Linglong dear, it's too hot in here. I just want to cool down a bit - didn't Uncle-in-law mention Earthlings wear tank tops in summer? Some even go topless or run around naked! Since I plan to join my sister on Earth someday let me get used to their culture early."
Linglong nearly fainted from Xiaorui's remarks, stomped her foot on mine before squeezing into the pilot seat, "This princess has no dignity and acts like a worldly flirt. I'll tell your sister Xiaowei later - she'll give you a good scolding!"
Xiaorui continued unperturbed, leaning close to whisper in my ear, "Uncle-in-law, do you prefer worldly flirts? Like my older sister who appears dignified but secretly has a more wild side than me."
I gave Xiaorui's bottom an affectionate pat. The truth was her boldness was indeed tempting - the visual and physical satisfaction were both complete for any man, and since Linglong wasn't a stranger I could show some openness in front of her. But this young girl had such a short temper she needed proper calming.
Xiaorui beamed triumphantly back to the co-pilot seat while Linglong angrily twisted the directional controls causing the ship to spiral wildly through space until even I couldn't recognize our location due to lack of satellite navigation systems.
"Look who got lost now. Driving angry is dangerous - ahead there's a beach where we can land and rest." I wanted to give Linglong time to cool down before allowing her back in control.
Linglong looked like an obedient child, bowing her head shamefully, "My Lord Ma, Linglong made a mistake and will never do it again."
Her behavior was indeed more that of an obedient maid compared to the highborn yet provocative nature of Xiaorui's sisters. To be honest I loved them both equally but these two young girls would fight even over trivial matters due to their rebellious teenage minds.
Xiaorui giggled softly, "Great idea Uncle-in-law, let me go swimming."
Linglong objected, "How can you swim in broad daylight where everyone might see?"
Xiaorui scoffed, "Oh come on Linglong, aren't you out of date? Didn't Sister Yun Yao tell you Earthlings often bath together mixed with men and women? They wear three-piece swimsuits or even go topless! Besides there's no one here - it's an uninhabited beach. We're the first visitors to get here through your driving. How could we leave without playing a bit?"
Linglong stomped my foot again, "How can Earth people be so bad!"
Xiaorui had already made me curious about her boldness and I agreed, "Fine then, go ahead if you want to swim or just sit by the beach."
Since Linglong had overheard my earlier instructions on flying she immediately landed us at the shoreline. The three of us opened the airlock and breathed in the fresh atmosphere with renewed energy.
Xiaorui ran excitedly toward the beach,
"Bathing time! It feels so good leaving the palace, I wish to stay free like this forever!"
The rebellious nature of both Xiaorui and her sister wasn't unrelated to long-term suppression. In front of Ma Da, Xiaowei was an exemplary princess while even Xiaorui could only be slightly mischievous but never out of line. But who would have guessed these two would behave so differently in front of me?
Linglong covered her eyes as she watched Xiaorui strip while running and I grabbed her hand,
"Linglong, don't be too self-conscious with me. Do whatever you want."
The usually confident martial artist was now fidgety,
"My Lord Ma, would you blame her? If I behaved like this would you still love me?"
I quietly hugged her waist from behind,
"Linglong, each of you has your own charm and I love all natural expressions equally. Don't pretend or act - just follow your heart, that's my rule."
Linglong nodded thoughtfully, "I understand now My Lord Ma. But why do I get more scared about making you unhappy? You know my parents have already arranged our marriage in theory. Logically speaking I'm yours and must obey you... but why does Xiaorui keep clinging to you like this? She's not your wife yet, which makes me dislike her."
I asked gently, "So you hate her?"
Linglong shook her head, "No hate... I just don't like her always being around you, especially with those secret flirty eyes. Except for that I'd be happy to make friends with her."
Patting her backside I assured her, "She can't seduce me - relax."
Linglong linked her little finger with mine, "Then promise not to trick me!"
I thought secretly as long as I initiated things myself, it wouldn't count as the princesses being flirtatious. So with that logic we shook hands,
"There, now you must feel better! Are you going swimming? The sea here is so blue and the sand feels silky smooth. Come on then."
Linglong clutched her chest, "I forgot to bring a swimsuit!"
Clearly Earth culture had already deeply influenced these girls' minds. I watched Xiaorui in the distance who'd taken off everything but bra and underwear,
"Just like her! We can go naked if we want."
Linglong gritted her teeth, "Fine then, just once with you crazy Lord Ma - I won't let Xiaorui look down on me!"
Before we could take our clothes off a phone call came in. Linglong quickly straightened her hair before answering,
"Sister Yun Yao, is there something important?"
"Is that you Linglong? Are you and Zhao Da together?" Yun Yao asked, too busy to know about Linglong joining us.
Linglong nodded, "Yes he's here... Wait Lord Ma how come you're already naked!"
Yun Yao laughed with her hand covering her mouth,
"What are you doing making fun of me in broad daylight? Are you trying to be naughty?"
Linglong's face turned crimson,
"Sister Yun Yao don't tease us. Of course I won't let him do anything! We got lost flying by the sea so we're taking a dip instead. Lord Ma wants to swim and will answer when there is something urgent."
Yun Yao said, "The King of Jin has been captured and the King of Wanma should be soon too. I wanted to consult Zhao Da on what to do next."
Linglong called me over. My ears were particularly sensitive so I naturally heard every word,
"First lock them up for now. We'll take a swim first and return later tonight."
Yun Yao replied, "Then I'll just tell those two Kings to be patient while having fun - but you'd better apply some sunscreen otherwise your skin might burn!"
Linglong hung up and caught up with me asking,
"My Lord Ma, what is sunscreen? Some kind of skin protection?"
I responded, "Store-bought sunscreen won't be available here. But I have natural homemade stuff. Let me apply some for you which will protect better than commercial ones."
Linglong cheered excitedly, "Really? Then I can go swimming now! My last diving record hasn't been broken yet and maybe this time I'll achieve something even higher!"
My heart pounded as I needed to closely follow her while secretly applying sunscreen during her dives. But with Xiaorui nearby watching, would she possibly guess my intentions?
