The myriad masters from various races who had initially remained on the sidelines, upon discovering the anomaly in the two Primordial Fires of the Blazing Star, could no longer hold back. They broke through the Skeleton Race's blockade of the Blazing Star and descended upon it together.

The auras of the two Primordial Fires spread across the Blazing Star. Any master with profound cultivation, upon setting foot on the planet, could immediately pinpoint the direction based on the intensity of the auras and speed toward the area where the change had occurred.

Masters from other stars, having locked onto their target, paid no heed to the surrounding Skeleton Race members. They moved with lightning speed, streaking across the skies of the Blazing Star.

Clusters of Blazing Flames also shot off in a single direction, illuminating the path for those with lesser perceptive abilities. Thus, anyone who entered the Blazing Star knew precisely where to go.

Granny Yu led several young maidens from the Kui Water Sect forward hastily. Granny Yu possessed the cultivation of the Divine Perception Realm. The water curtain she conjured enveloped all the Kui Water Sect maidens, the surface of which emitted steam like smoke. Upon contact with the extreme heat of the Blazing Star, the water vapor became heavy.

Yet, the maidens wrapped within the water curtain were all brimming with excitement. Inside the curtain, they felt none of the external searing heat, experiencing the same coolness as they did outside the Blazing Star.

"Grandmother, the power we cultivate in the Kui Water Sect comes from the Heavenly Pool Water. What connection do these Primordial Fires have with us? Do we have a chance to obtain them?" a Kui Water Sect maiden, whose hair was done in a small braid, asked restlessly within the water curtain.

As soon as she spoke, the chattering maidens all showed expressions of interest and chimed in. "That's right, the power we cultivate is related to water. All these years, I've been comprehending things within river water; how could we possibly obtain Primordial Fire?" "Grandmother, what if we accidentally obtained a Primordial Fire, wouldn't we be instantly incinerated to death?"

"I think if those Primordial Fires have any consciousness, they certainly wouldn't choose us. We are not of the same elemental alignment at all; the disparity is far too great. Don't you think so, Granny Yu?" The maidens argued noisily within the water curtain, all staring at Granny Yu.

Granny Yu smiled faintly and said, "You silly girls, you are so endearingly ignorant. If you had no chance of obtaining the Primordial Fires, if they truly clashed with your powers, would I have brought you all this way?" At her words, the maidens were startled and expressed their confusion.

"Don't worry. Primordial Fires are different from ordinary flames; they can harmonize with almost any power. Not only that, because Primordial Fires possess their own consciousness, they are more inclined to merge with cultivators whose powers oppose theirs. This way, they can evolve faster and become much stronger." Granny Yu paused slightly. "In other words, you, whose power stands in opposition to flame, actually have a greater hope of gaining the favor of the Primordial Fire." "Really?" The maidens were surprised by her words. "Oh! Grandmother Yu, look?" The maiden who spoke first suddenly shrieked, pointing ahead with a look of astonishment and wonder. Hearing her, everyone looked far into the distance—

They saw a cluster of flame resembling colorful fireworks floating constantly in the void, swirling around a youth who was shouting something with bared teeth, and another ball of flame shaped like the sun, gathering numerous fire clouds, was hovering near the youth as well. "Just as I expected!" Granny Yu murmured solemnly after just one glance. "Hey! Isn't that the person who was just talking to you?" one of the maidens cried out. "Grandmother Yu, who is this person? Why are those two Primordial Fires surrounding him?" "He is Ji Changkong," Granny Yu explained with a slight frown.

"Ji Changkong?!" All the maidens gasped, their faces filled with disbelief. The maiden who spoke first, after a moment's pause, jumped up inside the water curtain. "The one who stirred up such massive waves on our Fire Prison Star? I heard the Dragon-Python King of the Demon Race died because of him, and he also killed Tuke! Heavens, it is him!"

"Yes, it must be him. Only someone possessing a Primordial Fire can cause the 'Sacred Sun Heavenly Flame' and the Star-Devouring Flame to emerge from the depths together," Granny Yu confirmed.

"Mine! Mine! Bang! It belongs to me!" a strange voice came from the fire resembling fireworks. "Mine! All of mine!" another voice echoed from the sun-like flame, crying out like a baby, seemingly unable to speak clearly yet.

Evidently, the "Star-Devouring Flame" possessed higher intelligence. During its long journey through the cosmos, it had devoured numerous meteors in the star river, accumulating sufficient stellar power, thus achieving a high degree of intellect long ago.

The "Sacred Sun Heavenly Flame" was inferior; spending ages gathering power on the Blazing Star had not significantly advanced its intellect. This was why the "Star-Devouring Flame," upon sensing it concealed on the Blazing Star, felt it could swallow it whole, leading it to fall from the star river.

The original goal of the "Star-Devouring Flame" was to fight the "Sacred Sun Heavenly Flame" deep underground after it arrived. Although the "Sacred Sun Heavenly Flame" was less advanced, the Blazing Star was its domain. The accumulation of countless eons meant the "Sacred Sun Heavenly Flame" had gathered immense Solar Power on the planet.

This Solar Power, normally dispersed outwardly, represented the sum total of its absorption and convergence over billions of years. Aided by this external power, as the "Sacred Sun Heavenly Flame" fought the "Star-Devouring Flame," it continuously expended and replenished its energy. Due to the home-field advantage, it could barely fight the "Star-Devouring Flame" to a standstill.

Originally, the two were locked in a desperate struggle when they suddenly sensed the arrival of another of their kind. This new entity was unusual—a fusion of two of their kind—and it had been subdued by a mortal. However, its current power was insufficient to match their own, despite having evolved countless times.

But these two knew that an entity born from the fusion of two Primordial Fires possessed tremendous future potential, capable of evolving to a terrifying degree over time. At that point, the two of them might suffer the same fate or even be devoured.

To prevent this scenario, they had to devour this newly merged being before it could evolve to a threatening level. This presented an immense opportunity!

If they could consume this peer that had not yet reached an advanced stage, the two would immediately advance further, their life forms undergoing another massive change. They could then absorb the other one, and once three kindred powers were fused, the resulting entity would have an extremely high chance of absorbing the other five kindred beings later, reaching an unimaginably marvelous state.

Faced with such a tremendous temptation, the two acted in concert, hoping to seize the "Flame Thunder Cold Flame" within Ji Changkong, and then absorb the remaining entity, taking a huge step toward ultimate evolution.

Thus, they moved almost simultaneously. After emerging from the depths, they immediately targeted Ji Changkong, attacking him without preamble, hoping to claim the "Flame Thunder Cold Flame" within him.

But they soon realized this plan was facing difficulties. The holder of their kindred possessed profound cultivation and understood the Chaos Profundity. Under their assault, this individual managed to deal with them calmly, even having the leisure to send a human female companion to safety.

"Mine! This is a struggle between us Primordial Fires. Damn humans, your lowly lives are utterly unworthy of commanding us!" the "Star-Devouring Flame" clamored from within the fire resembling fireworks. Being more intelligent, it even tried to articulate a justification. "I am already commanding you," Ji Changkong smiled, watching the fire flickering in the void with amusement, unhurried. "Why don't you merge with me again, become a part of my command? I heard that if I merge you all, I can reach the ultimate Chaos Realm—that is an extraordinarily marvelous state. Don't you want to see it?"

"No! No! I don't want to become someone else's subordinate!" the other cluster, the "Sacred Sun Heavenly Flame," cried out, repeating the same few phrases over and over—it simply refused to be absorbed, to lose its consciousness, to become a part of someone else's body.

"You are not worthy!" the "Star-Devouring Flame" roared. Streams of fiery brilliance, trailing the tail-like streaks of meteors, flew out from its fire resembling fireworks recklessly, surging towards Ji Changkong.

This force carried the fierce momentum of invincible meteors across the starry sky, coupled with the violent power of burning and explosion, equivalent to a full-power strike from a master in the Divine Perception Realm. Against such an assault, an ordinary Heavenly Scholar with Divine Perception Realm cultivation would certainly be thrown into utter disarray.

This was because Primordial Fires possessed an inherent, strange penetrative force that could silently destroy everything in the opponent, especially flesh and blood, which were more easily desiccated by the power of the Primordial Fire.

However, Ji Changkong was different. The physique of the Purgatory Ghost Race was highly peculiar, and when activated from his bloodline, he could withstand the impact of this fiery energy, though he felt immense discomfort. Most importantly, he understood the Chaos Profundity known as Primordial Harmony (Hun Yuan).

This Primordial Harmony spoke of all the powers between Heaven and Earth, naturally including the most miraculous Primordial Fire. Although he did not know the origin of the Primordial Fires, he was intimately familiar with the attack methods of these peculiar life forms and could vaguely judge the advantages and disadvantages of any given Primordial Fire. By prescribing the right antidote, he could achieve incredible results.

With the help of this Primordial Harmony Profundity, utilizing the unique properties of the blood flowing within him, he could erect countless layers of barriers without even transforming his body, effectively deflecting all the assaults from the "Star-Devouring Flame" and the "Sacred Sun Heavenly Flame," remaining unharmed.

While resisting these two Primordial Fires, his mind was active, contemplating how to seize both of them—with no good intentions toward them whatsoever!
