Under the protection of the immense lightning tentacles, Fang Senyan watched the spatial collapse unfolding before him—a sight so desolate and terrifying it seemed like the apocalypse arrived, as if countless majestic yet decaying edifices were crumbling simultaneously. Yet, within him, there was no joy.

Because he had witnessed firsthand the shadow sitting beneath the rotten, gigantic gate move not an inch, vanishing into ash under a terrifying cascade of electricity!

Ash, dust, gone, extinguished!

Before this, Fang Senyan had mentally prepared for every possible confrontation with Fang Lin; yet, he never imagined his greatest enemy yet would surrender so easily, dying with such simplicity. Such a swift curtain call, such clean annihilation, left Fang Senyan with an unsettling sense of unreality.

What Fang Senyan felt was akin to preparing for a three-day, three-night desperate battle, only to have the enemy instantly vaporized the moment he threw his first punch—it was that bizarre.

“Something seems decidedly off…” Fang Senyan took a deep breath, but he had calculated his plan repeatedly; no matter how the enemy reacted, unless they possessed the might to shatter space itself, he held an unbeatable hand, like securing twenty-one in Blackjack.

Just then, Fang Senyan saw another ribbon of light drift across the collapsing space, weaving effortlessly between several massive lightning tentacles capable of world-ending destruction. This light ribbon seemed devoid of offensive power, resembling a giant, transparent umbilical cord, stretching over a hundred meters long and more than ten wide!

Within this ‘umbilical cord,’ a fetus bizarrely materialized from nothing, connected by numerous vessels, rapidly forming and growing. Initially curled in a fetal position, its body slowly stretched and developed. By the time the fetus reached eight or nine months old, Fang Senyan recognized it: it was Mogsar!

Following this, the ‘umbilical cord’ began to harden and clarify, transforming into a massive, transparent glass tube seemingly bridging time and space. Then, dazzling, bizarre scenes began to swirl within the tube, twisting like a kaleidoscope, surging over Mogsar’s body like a tide, as he himself slowly grew larger.

Fang Senyan could see that those distorted scenes represented his entire life experience; space was reshaping his memories in this manner. The Noah C-space was meticulously calculating: while destroying the decaying First-Order Space, an immense amount of precious energy would inevitably escape. Reshaping life involved the most mysterious Life Origin Energy, something even the Noah Space treasured, so Eve had taken the opportunity to utilize the energy dispersing from the dying First-Order Space.

However, at this moment, Fang Senyan’s focus loosened due to Mogsar’s sudden appearance, causing a sharp clench in his chest. He instantly whipped his head around and saw, amidst the terrifying spectacle of destruction, a single pinpoint of light piercing his eyes.

That light grew rapidly, intensifying, coalescing directly in front of Fang Senyan. Gradually, it formed a huge, bizarre, vertical eye!

The vertical eye was cold yet elegant, growing larger as it rapidly approached, emitting a horrifyingly immense gravitational pull—a force that threatened to drag his entire soul into its depths!

As he drew near the front of the eye, he witnessed an infant being born, then immediately playing and fishing by the sea… These memory fragments appeared, spinning and roaring like sharp blades rushing toward him, seemingly intent on tearing his very soul to shreds!

Suddenly, the pupil of the vertical eye vanished entirely, transforming into a deep, bottomless black hole.

It was deeply uncanny, so mysterious that one might willingly throw themselves into it, content even to drown in its depths! It felt as if the very capacity for thought was lost, as if wisdom itself had been frozen, stalled! The intense sense of distraction was indescribable.

What enraged Fang Senyan the most was seeing the death of his own father! His father stood with his back to Fang Senyan, pierced by several weapons, yet still fighting defiantly, his corpse remaining upright even in death!

“No…” In the throes of extreme anger, Fang Senyan suddenly realized something was wrong. Yes, why couldn't he see his father's face? This was the opponent cleverly weaponizing his subconscious memory fragments to counterattack. Since Fang Senyan had never seen his father’s face, the enemy could not use that feature to attack!

But the moment Fang Senyan realized he was tricked, he found himself utterly unable to break free from the illusory attack. The eye held a powerful, terrifying energy cycling relentlessly, like countless suction-cupped tentacles forming a cross-hatched net that tightly gripped his soul, threatening to drag him in.

Fang Senyan knew clearly that his affiliated Noah C-space could save him in a second, but under the terrifying might of Fang Lin merged with space, and with the enemy having planned while he was caught off guard, that single second felt magnified into days, months, even years!

This dislocation in the perception of time, while strange, was elegantly explained by Einstein long ago:

“Friends, try to consider a pleasant conversation with a charming young lady, or placing your hand over a hot stove for a few minutes. The same duration of time yields vastly different sensations. The former will surely make you think, ‘Heavens, why does time fly so fast?’ The latter will surely make you think, ‘When will this damned period end!’”

Now, under the suction of that massive eye, Fang Senyan’s complexion was turning green, his ears roared, and his heart hammered against his ribs as if trying to burst free. Nearly all the physical energy in his body seemed to be draining rapidly, causing every cell to glow and heat up with maximum effort, resulting in the searing pain of being nearly cooked alive!

“Is this that man’s counterattack? A final desperate lunge utilizing the power of spatial destruction?” Fang Senyan struggled to hold on while desperately signaling for help, but under the enemy’s oppressive force, even his thoughts felt brutally frozen; forming a single notion seemed like an eternity spanning millennia.

Just as Fang Senyan was about to break, the internal environment within his body showed signs of imminent collapse, which immediately affected the location where the Aladdin’s Lamp Fruit was stored. For the Noah C-space, constantly monitoring Fang Senyan was impossible, but they were undoubtedly obsessively watching the object of their desire.

Upon detecting this, Noah C-space immediately flew into a rage!

When the Son of Heaven is enraged, the rivers run red.

But what happens when the Space that governs the life and death of countless Sons of Heaven becomes enraged?

It is the Great Annihilation of Time and Space!!!

Noah C-space was clearly furious that Fang Senyan, despite being under its protection, had almost succeeded in his raid! This was tantamount to digging up a tiger’s lair. Fang Senyan felt his entire vision instantly flooded with an indescribable radiance. Then, he lost all five senses, replaced by utter blankness.

An indescribable void!

It seemed only an instant passed, yet it also felt like a thousand millennia. When Fang Senyan’s perception returned, all he could see, besides the giant lightning tentacles of Noah C-space floating nearby, was boundless, faint powder!! This powder seemed omnipresent, subtle and fine, yet carrying an indescribable sense of dead stillness, like the dust under an astronaut’s boot on the lunar surface—desolate, carrying the cool gray scent of death!

This was the so-called “pulverized residue.” The product of the final cosmic catastrophe following the four great calamities—Formation, Stasis, Ruin, and Void—as recorded in Buddhist scriptures!

Under such an attack, anything could only become this powder, this completely inert dust!

Fang Senyan extended a finger, pinched some of this “pulverized residue,” slowly rubbed it between his fingertips, pondered for a moment, and finally sighed:

“With an attack like that… although I still feel a slight lingering sense, he must be dead.”

Then, when he turned back, Fang Senyan’s eyes flared with heat, because Mogsar, protected within the transparent ‘umbilical cord,’ or shield, not far away, was slowly opening his eyes.

Furthermore, transparent shields resembling giant bubbles began drifting over from the distance, navigating freely between the terrifying massive lightning tentacles of Noah C-space. These individuals had obviously come with the permission of the Space Will, Eve.

As they approached, these bubble shields gradually and rapidly merged. Zi, Reef, San Zai… everyone from the Ace Team sensed the event and converged here to witness the miracle unfold!

“Welcome back to the team!!”

“Welcome home!”

“…”

Amidst the shouts of the group, Mogsar slowly opened his eyes. His gaze shifted from confusion, slowly clearing, and finally blossoming into joy… He extended his hands, embracing the familiar teammates who rushed towards him.

At this point, Fang Senyan stood aside with a slight smile, applauding softly. Meanwhile, Zi kept observing him from the side, looking quite puzzled.

Fang Senyan naturally noticed this and suddenly turned to face her:

“Why are you staring at me so much?”

Zi frowned: “I feel like you are… somewhat different compared to before.”

Fang Senyan burst into loud laughter, suddenly pulling Zi into a tight embrace. Zi instantly struggled in panic, but she could not resist Fang Senyan’s strength. Besides, Zi wasn't truly resisting; realizing struggle was useless, she closed her eyes with a flushed face, submitting, only to hear Fang Senyan whisper close to her ear:

“The biggest difference is that I suddenly realized I’ve started liking children.”

“What?” Zi stammered, stunned.

The smile on Fang Senyan’s face turned mischievous: “So you’ll have to work hard to have one.”

“Ah! You….”

Watching the furious, red-faced Zi gnash her teeth and pinch him, Fang Senyan smiled casually, holding her close, while a thought surfaced in his mind:

“Since Mogsar, who turned to ash, can be resurrected, what about my parents? That should be possible too, right? Then, given our team’s strength within Space, if we continue advancing, opportunities for resurrection should only increase! Father, Mother, as long as I do not die, we will reunite one day!”

Simultaneously,

On Earth, in the real world,

The weather was fine, and the sun’s scorching rays cast down upon a small garden. The leaves looked slightly withered, and even the bees flitting among the flowers appeared languid.

This was not a park or a school, but a mental hospital in City C. However, the patients residing here were generally those considered non-aggressive but potentially dangerous, whose behavior could be highly erratic and amusing.

For example, a mentally ill patient with a vacant stare arrived, suddenly chuckling hollowly, drool trickling from his mouth. He grabbed the vibrant flowers of an oleander bush, crushing the bees within them with his hand. Though his hand was swelling from the stings, he unhesitatingly shoved the mashed flowers and dead bees into his mouth, chewing them noisily with relish.

The medical staff who rushed over tried desperately to stop him. This young male patient began to wail, spitting at them, even smearing a mixture of snot, saliva, vomit, and tears all over his face. Finally, to prevent choking and biting his tongue, a nurse violently jammed a mouth gag between his teeth. Even so, he struggled frantically until large bruises appeared on his wrists, refusing to cease.

Suddenly, the young patient’s entire body convulsed, and he instantly calmed down, becoming as pliable as a puppet under their control. This surprised the staff members nearby holding electric shockers and tranquilizers, as such a rapid cessation had never occurred. But given that madmen are called mad precisely because of their illogical occurrences, no one suspected anything amiss.

Once the sedative was injected, these orderlies wouldn't wait by his bedside; they simply restrained him and planned to release him later. In truth, their work was exhausting, and being bitten or scratched by patients was common; they certainly wouldn't be as meticulous as family members caring for him.

However, after the orderlies left grumbling, the young mental patient slowly opened his eyes.

At first, those eyes were still filled with vacancy and mania, but as time passed, like sediment settling, his gaze cleared. Yet, this clarity was not superficial; it was like standing at the bow of a ship on the open ocean, initially seeing the clear water, but immediately realizing the infinite, profound depth beneath the waves!

“Ah, this feeling… it’s wonderful! Escaping that decaying, nearly broken vessel and returning to a healthy eighteen-year-old body! A mental patient? A madman? Hahaha, there is only a razor’s edge between genius and madness!”

Although tightly bound, the young patient breathed deeply and clenched his fists, seemingly sensing his new energy.

“Indeed, my theory is sound. Origin Energy is the most mysterious force in the universe; even the most powerful Space cannot fully grasp its essence! Hey, don’t forget, during that process of slaughter, although Fang Senyan siphoned off a good deal of Life Origin Energy, I, too, was a vital biological node, and I gained the most benefits! I truly succeeded! Although I expended most of the plundered Origin Energy, I gained an opportunity to start anew!”

In the previous confrontation, Fang Senyan’s clever setup involved bringing his mother space, Noah C-space, into the fray. From his perspective, no matter how events unfolded, he secured an invincible position.

But for his enemy, Fang Lin, this was also placing a massive bet!

He belonged to the decaying, aging First-Order Space. To survive, he had to find a way to prolong the Space’s lifespan, which meant assimilating with his own aging Space and subsequently traveling through time to slay alternate versions of himself, using powerful, mysterious Life Origin Energy to prolong this decay. But this was merely treating the symptoms, a method of quenching thirst with poison!

The First-Order Space was like an old man at death’s door; no amount of tonics could do more than delay his demise, never cure him. If this continued, being buried with it, being consumed by it, was the only outcome!

Therefore, when confronting Fang Senyan’s plan, Fang Lin also held a contingency: if the setup succeeded and Fang Senyan was successfully killed and absorbed, the abundant Life Origin Energy gained would serve as a major ‘tonic,’ fulfilling his goal.

However, even if the plan failed and attracted a more powerful force, leading to the annihilation of the First-Order Space, it paradoxically provided Fang Lin with the perfect opportunity to break free from the constraints of his original mother space and regain his freedom!

He had long prepared for this, even selecting his target! He waited for his mother space—the rotten First-Order Space—to be destroyed, immediately entering the body of a pre-selected teenage mental patient possessing immense potential, whose life wave frequency matched his own Origin Energy signature, and whose consciousness was completely disordered. This action was akin to seizing a body, and the immense Life Origin Energy within Fang Lin’s soul could transform this body, granting it boundless potential.

If he had done this earlier, the First-Order Space, being intimately connected to him, could have effortlessly located and killed Fang Lin. But now! Fang Senyan’s plan, utilizing the powerful force of Noah C-space’s Eve, had directly destroyed the only entity capable of locating and threatening Fang Lin—the First-Order Space!!

In hindsight, both sides’ schemes seemed to show Fang Senyan slightly losing ground! He gained no substantial benefit from his own plan; instead, he inadvertently rescued Fang Lin from a half-dead, subhuman state. Although Fang Lin lost the tremendous power of merging with Space, he gained infinite potential and the enormous capital of starting over!

Based on Fang Lin’s understanding of Space, finding a new Noah Space to join and becoming a contractor was almost a certainty, and he was now operating from the shadows.

Fang Senyan’s advantage was equally clear: his current strength far surpassed Fang Lin’s. Compared to Fang Lin who had to start over, Fang Senyan held an absolute advantage in power.

The war between them would clearly continue, promising to be another spectacular conflict, another moving saga!!
