The jade-green waves of the sea seemed to be violently struck, instantly splitting apart to the sides, and then, two colossal sacred beasts emerged before the crowd.

The Sacred Beast Kings of the outer sea were undoubtedly massive; compared to them, the White Horse Lightning appeared quite small.

However, when He Yiming saw these two sacred beasts, he couldn't help but pause slightly, a strange expression flickering in his eyes. The White Horse Lightning let out a long neigh, its sound filled with delight, as if meeting these two Sacred Beast Kings made it exceptionally happy.

Both sacred beast kings before him were old acquaintances. One was long and slender, its body stretching over ten zhang in length, possessing eight massive, powerful short legs beneath its belly, and a ferociously savage head, resembling a mutated crocodile magnified countless times, exuding immense pressure.

And the other monstrous beast was even more familiar.

It was a soft-bodied marine creature, boasting eight enormous tentacles, each dozens of zhang long. Its head breached the surface of the sea, revealing itself to be a monstrously huge octopus. In terms of sheer size alone, it far surpassed even the crocodile-like Sacred Beast King.

The moment he saw this creature, He Yiming was reminded of the time shortly after the White Horse Lightning first ascended to the rank of a sacred beast. They had ventured enthusiastically into the outer sea, only to encounter this octopus Sacred Beast King.

It seemed to have sensed the divine beast bloodline within the White Horse Lightning and wished to keep the horse. If not for the divine artifact Nine Dragon Furnace intervening, blasting it away in a fiery rout, it was uncertain if they could have escaped its entanglement back then.

Yet, He Yiming distinctly remembered that although that past blast of fire hadn't killed it, it had certainly severed one of its tentacles. But looking now, all of its tentacles appeared perfectly intact.

He pondered briefly, immediately realizing that this soft-bodied sea monster must possess the ability to regenerate severed limbs.

After surfacing, the two sea monster Sacred Beast Kings also seemed momentarily stunned, especially the crocodile Sacred Beast King, whose massive eyes immediately showed a hint of hesitation.

It had personally experienced the might of the White Horse Lightning and knew that the power it wielded was in no way inferior to its own. Moreover, all creatures possessed a natural, almost instinctive fear of lightning. Thus, the highly intelligent crocodile king, having survived for millennia, began to contemplate retreat.

But the other octopus Sacred Beast King let out an earth-shattering roar. Its enormous head shook violently, churning the surrounding seawater into chaos. Its eight tentacles thrashed about like massive, thick pythons. After a moment of standoff, it finally could not restrain itself, actively extending one tentacle to coil toward He Yiming and the White Horse Lightning.

He Yiming snorted coldly, raising both hands. A faint, intense radiance and a somber darkness subtly emerged from them.

The combination of light and dark power proved to be incredibly potent—this was a difference in the level of power, not merely the strength between equals. Having grasped this, He Yiming unhesitatingly set aside the Five Elements power and turned to study these two formidable forces.

Although he had only just begun, he had witnessed firsthand the process of the two great experts of the West unleashing their Light-Dark fusion. This process would be of no value to others, but for him, possessing both the Body of Light and the Body of Darkness, along with both the power of Light and the power of Darkness, the gain was immeasurable.

From his hands, the worlds of light and darkness slowly took shape, forming a circular Taiji diagram. In this aspect, his method differed somewhat from the approach of the Western experts, but the result of fusing the two powers into one was the same.

Just as He Yiming was fusing light and dark, the White Horse Lightning had already unleashed its electrical power a step ahead.

Whether due to the animosity of old foes meeting again, the might of the horse's lightning this time was absolute. It attacked immediately with its strongest killing move, something unimaginable in the past. A phantom white horse lightning split off from its body, shooting out like lightning toward that tentacle.

A tremendous explosion instantly rang out. The phantom white horse lightning image was its ultimate trump card; under normal circumstances, the White Horse Lightning would never unleash it unless the situation was critical. Yet, it activated it without hesitation now, indicating that the White Horse Lightning remembered that past encounter vividly and was utterly unwilling to yield.

The octopus Sacred Beast King roared another world-shaking cry, its gigantic, bald head trembling madly. The tentacle struck by the lightning was instantly blasted into two pieces by the phantom image of the electrified white horse.

Although it possessed the ability to regrow tentacles, being blown apart by a section would feel agonizing to any creature.

Enraged, the octopus Sacred Beast King raised its remaining seven tentacles, each covered in terrifying, black, vortex-like suckers. These suckers were filled with a multitude of water arrows, and with a slight tremor, countless water arrows shot toward them. Each water arrow contained such intense power; the sharp, piercing sound of their passage through the air resembled a thousand arrows loosed at once, engulfing everything.

A cold smile touched the corner of He Yiming's mouth. With a slight wave of his hands, the Light-Dark fusion, resembling a Taiji diagram, rose high and began to spread outward from his center.

The power level represented by the fusion of light and dark had transcended the pinnacle of the Human Way. Although the power He Yiming released at this moment could only be described as faint—far less mighty than the combined force of Franklin and Garfield—this small amount of power was already sufficient to neutralize the attack of the octopus Sacred Beast King into nothingness.

He Yiming nodded with satisfaction. The Light-Dark Ring in his hand suddenly shot out, transforming into a massive circle of power in the air, descending to envelop the octopus Sacred Beast King from above.

The giant octopus monster clearly froze. In its thousands of years of life, it had never experienced an opponent like this. Although it vaguely sensed that the power of this circle was immensely strong, the arrogance inherent to an Outer Sea Sacred Beast King made it impossible for it to retreat without a fight at this moment.

A tentacle suddenly whipped up from the sea, resembling a dozens of zhang long whip, carrying infinite brute force as it lashed out at the Light-Dark power circle.

The power of light and dark vibrated slightly, acting like a gigantic winch, firmly gripping the tentacle. No matter how the Sacred Beast King struggled, it could not pull back the tentacle trapped within the Light-Dark power circle. Seeing the terrifying power circle about to descend, the Sacred Beast King could no longer concern itself with dignity; its tentacles flailed wildly, and it actually severed the trapped one itself.

Having lost two tentacles, the octopus Sacred Beast King's body sank slightly, its massive form attempting to submerge itself back into the ocean depths.

In this brief contact, it had already lost two tentacles. Although this terrifying Outer Sea Sacred Beast had not managed to unleash its full might, its intelligence made it understand that this one person and one horse before it possessed power equal to its own. Under such circumstances, it chose to retreat decisively, just like the crocodile Sacred Beast King of the past.

The Outer Sea Sacred Beast Kings, though fierce, were highly pragmatic.

However, at that precise moment, the Ancestor of the Yu Family moved. He still extended his arm, but this time, instead of raising it high above his head, he held it flat before him.

Vast power of heaven and earth instantly surged toward him, and that overwhelmingly spectacular scene reappeared over the vast sea. Endless power converged around the Ancestor of the Yu Family; the area around his arm instantly condensed with unimaginable, immense might.

He Yiming’s eyes faintly glowed. In a trance, he seemed to grasp a new concept: this ability to draw in the Qi of Heaven and Earth belonged to the realm of the Divine Path. Yet, subtly, a strange feeling resonated within He Yiming—that he, too, could achieve this. The moment he condensed all the power in his Dantian, it seemed all his strength was gathered around his body. If he could recreate this scene externally, could he also reach the level of might displayed by the Ancestor of the Yu Family now?

This thought flashed through his mind just as the Ancestor of the Yu Family released the massive Heaven and Earth Qi condensed around him.

The sea seemed to be cleanly split in half by a colossal blade descending from the sky. Towering waves surged violently, but all of that paled in comparison to the spurting blood that was truly shocking. The hand-blade strike from the Ancestor of the Yu Family not only threw the surrounding sea into darkness but also effortlessly sliced through the octopus Sacred Beast King that was about to dive beneath the waves.

Subsequently, everyone saw that the powerful Sacred Beast King was cleaved entirely in two, from head to tail, as if it were a sheet of thin paper. The gigantic octopus head split open down the middle, releasing a vast quantity of inky black fluid that instantly stained the surrounding sea a black mess.

He Yiming frowned slightly. Although he knew this black fluid must exist within the octopus Sacred Beast King, the sheer quantity and volume exceeded his expectations.

The body of the octopus Sacred Beast King writhed desperately, seemingly making a death struggle. But everyone understood that this was merely the final flicker of life before the monster king’s demise.

This Sacred Beast King was truly unlucky. While its enormous size usually gave it a significant advantage when fighting beasts of the same or lower rank, facing the Ancestor of the Yu Family marked the beginning of its tragedy. Its excessively large bulk severely hampered its speed; facing that world-shattering hand-blade capable of commanding the submission of all, it didn't even have a chance to evade. If the White Horse Lightning, with its more compact form, had faced the Ancestor of the Yu Family, it might have stood a slim chance, but alas, the size of the Outer Sea Sacred Beast King was simply too great to be maneuverable.
