The first is the Kezuo incident in India over three millennia ago.

The second occurred at nine o'clock on the morning following the Dragon Boat Festival, May 30th, 1626 (the sixth day of the fifth month in the sixth year of the Tianqi era of the Ming Dynasty), involving a bizarre explosion near the Wanggongchang gunpowder depot on the southwestern edge of Beijing.

The third was the colossal blast that shook the Evenki Autonomous Okrug in Siberia, Russia, at 7:17 AM (00:17 UTC) on June 30th, 1908.

Yes, as Sindaro gazed toward the northwest of the Greater Khingan Range, the first thing Fang Senyan thought of was the Tunguska event—one of the three great natural mysteries!

It was later estimated that the explosion was equivalent to 15 to 20 million tons of TNT—the power of 2,000 atomic bombs—felling 60.004 million trees across an area spanning more than 2,153.2 square kilometers. A pristine forest covering 2,000 square kilometers was flattened by the shockwave, and at least 300,000 trees died in a radial pattern.

In some places, the permafrost melted, turning the ground into marshland. Subsequent scientific expeditions discovered that the soil in the explosion zone had become magnetized; anomalies in radioactivity appeared in the tree rings of 1908–1909; and certain animals exhibited genetic mutations.

Old Sindaro’s eyes were brimming with hot tears as he shouted excitedly, "A sacred place, a sacred place! A place that legends say only the World Tree could inhabit—why would it appear in this desolate, defiled world!"

Fang Senyan looked at the Fog Song girl beside him, who was gazing up at the divine oak, Sindaro, with wide, watery eyes full of adoration. He immediately understood that the simple-minded Fog Song girl must also be filled with the thought, "I don't know what he's talking about, but it must be incredibly powerful..."

At this moment, Fang Senyan rapidly recalled the data stored in his mind, suddenly reached an epiphany, and naturally boarded a plane to rush there immediately.

This party of theirs, needless to say, had people sent by Zi to meet them; the ES Consortium was responsible for all expenses. While flying, he took the time to look up various detailed files, then looked up at the old man Sindaro and said, "If I am not mistaken, then the so-called sacred grounds in our world are likely not singular."

Sindaro was stunned: "This, how is this possible!"

Fang Senyan smiled: "Why not? I have already thought of several other places you refer to as sacred grounds. How about this: we first visit the sacred ground you mentioned, and then we take the plane to the others. Your sensory range seems to reach several thousand kilometers away; you will naturally know once we are far enough."

Sindaro shook his head: "I must implant my roots into the earth before I can sense the aura of a sacred place. Once my feet leave the ground, I am like a blind man. Moreover, it wasn't me who discovered the sacred place just now; it was something there emitting a peculiar resonant wave that was calling to me!"

Fang Senyan nodded: "I understand, but since a miracle has appeared in our dark and defiled world, why would you refuse to believe it might appear again? Light often blossoms from the deepest darkness, and the most defiled places frequently give birth to the purest, untainted things!"

Sindaro was silenced.

It wasn't Fang Senyan's eloquence that rendered him speechless, but the sheer fact that the sacred place had manifested right there, making any counterargument impossible.

Just then, a flight attendant with a sweet voice approached: "Gentlemen, we must begin our descent now. We only secured flight clearance for this part of China. Rudely entering Russian airspace would cause extremely serious diplomatic complications."

Fang Senyan waved impatiently: "Handle it immediately. We need maximum speed."

After the flight attendant left, Sindaro suddenly spoke up: "No need. I have studied your world; this level of magic can easily be shielded."

Fang Senyan smiled: "We call this science, not magic. But are you absolutely certain we won't be detected? If we are discovered, they possess the capability to shoot us down from the air. To be specific, an attack with power no less than ten Great Fireballs would impact this machine called an airplane. And if one strike isn't enough, it might be repeated a thousand times."

The old man bristled with annoyance: "I never undertake anything without absolute certainty."

Fang Senyan nodded: "Then, OK."

He stood up and walked into the cockpit, addressing the pilot: "How much fuel do we have left?"

The pilot looked startled: "Uh, we refueled an hour ago, and to account for every possibility, we still have 93% fuel, so theoretically, we could circle the globe two and a half times."

"No need to request permission from Russia. Maintain radio silence and fly directly across the Russian border. I recall this new Gulfstream can perform vertical take-off and landing, correct? Then fly straight to the destination; we should be able to find an area for vertical landing," Fang Senyan stated calmly.

"But!" the pilot exclaimed in shock.

Fang Senyan gave him a deep look: "I am not consulting you or asking for your opinion, Sir. This is an order."

As an employee, what could the pilot say? He could only maliciously simulate in his mind the glorious moment when several Su-30 fighters would arrive to 'escort' them—a situation that would thoroughly humble him. However, that anticipated moment never arrived! Time ticked by second by second, and they penetrated thousands of kilometers deep into Russian territory completely unharmed. It wasn't until the co-pilot reminded him that the destination was reached and it was time to find a landing spot that he snapped back to reality, utterly astonished to find that he was the one who had been proven wrong!

The Tunguska River snaked below them. Although this was the season when temperatures rarely rose above freezing, the area was remote and sparsely populated—a traditional characteristic of Russia.

When the aircraft executed a vertical landing on the grassy area beside the Tunguska River, the pilot and cabin crew were amazed to discover that a faint layer of pale green moss had somehow grown on the fuselage. Although it was less than a centimeter thick, it appeared profoundly eerie. The entire plane had taken on a strange hue.

A maintenance crew member attempted to scrape it off but was strictly forbidden by Fang Senyan. Clearly, this layer of green moss was the key reason why this new vertical take-off and landing Gulfstream could traverse Russian airspace as if it were empty territory! The bewildered crew members had no idea when this layer of moss had sprouted!

The pilot stared at it and murmured: "Truly unbelievable. The stealth technology that the Pentagon spent decades and hundreds of billions of dollars developing... was defeated by this tiny layer of moss!"

Since the center of the Tunguska explosion was now dense primeval forest, the landing site was still some distance from the core zone. However, for Fang Senyan, Fog Song, and Sindaro, what would be an impassable gulf for ordinary people was a delightful journey.

Once clear of the flight crew’s sight, the three of them mounted a treant temporarily imbued with life. On the treant’s shoulders, they strode through the mysterious and bizarre forest. Sindaro was trembling with excitement, his long white beard shaking constantly, as he murmured: "A sacred place, this is the sacred place! Such abundant and powerful creation energy! So pure! Merely taking a breath of it is exhilarating!"

Suddenly, Sindaro shuddered. He could no longer suppress his instinctive urge and instantly manifested the form of the ancient, powerful Divine Oak! Fortunately, this was a dense primeval coniferous forest, so the addition of a massive oak tree was like a single grain of sand on a beach, attracting no attention and posing no risk of satellite detection.

"There! Where is it!" Sindaro roared excitedly, a sound completely unfitting for his elderly status!

After manifesting his true form, his sensory power increased tenfold! With every step he took, vast, golden roots plunged into the earth! Upon sensing the signal, Sindaro strode forward with great speed. The normally impenetrable coniferous forest here, whose trees possessed exceptionally tough wood due to the subarctic climate, parted before the power of the Divine Oak; the roots actually pulled themselves from the ground to clear a path!

After running for seven or eight kilometers, Fang Senyan noticed the vegetation ahead gradually thinning. It changed from towering giants everywhere to shrubbery, then from dense thickets to sparse grassland, finally ending in bare, scorched, hard black-gray earth with no vegetation whatsoever.

This black-gray, hard earth covered an area of about two to three square kilometers, forming a slightly sunken depression. Sindaro stopped near the central right side of the hollow. Looking at his expression, it was the complete opposite of his earlier ecstasy; he seemed locked in a fierce internal struggle, grinding his teeth.

Fang Senyan, with his keen perception and excellent eyesight, immediately saw that directly before Sindaro stood a plant barely half a meter tall, growing crookedly and twisted beyond recognition. On its half-meter stem, there were tree-like burls the size of ping-pong balls!

More importantly, in this barren depression, this was the only plant!

"This wretched thing sent the signal that Sindaro could receive from thousands of kilometers away?" Fang Senyan thought in astonishment, when he suddenly witnessed a sight that nearly made his eyeballs bulge out.

The great Tree Sage Sindaro, who bore the esteemed title of 'Divine,' actually raised his massive, root-like foot and brought it down with crushing force upon the pitiful, crippled, deformed plant before him!
