Though Fang Senyan exuded an imposing aura, faced with such a sharp and ferocious strike, he dared not meet it head-on. With a quick sidestep, he let the wall behind him bear the brunt of the attack!

With a deafening boom, a massive hole was instantly blasted open behind Fang Senyan. A gust of cool wind rushed in, and the sound of bricks, furniture, and other debris clattering down near his feet could be heard—they were, after all, seven or eight stories up.

By the time Fang Senyan charged toward the doorway again, a flash of red light flickered within the dust cloud. A torrential downpour of light beams erupted, a furious barrage of bullets! These locust-like projectiles trailed long streaks of fire, and upon impact, they caused secondary explosions. Fang Senyan was caught off guard, staggered back several steps from the hits, and just as he lunged sideways to dodge, a familiar tightening sensation seized his feet!

Clearly, without even looking, he knew KD had ambushed him again. The concrete on the staircase seemed to come alive, spreading up his shoes, covering his calves, then gripping and locking him in place. Fang Senyan roared in fury, suddenly exerting tremendous force. He yanked his right foot free with a heavy stomp that landed on the floor, causing a massive crash as the staircase beneath him sank half a meter. Had the embedded rebar not held it up, it would have surely collapsed.

This powerful stomp even made Fang Senyan hear a shrill, tortured scream emanating from the concrete that clung to his feet. The sound was hoarse and grating, entirely unlike a human cry; it was the sound of the Earthbound Spirits that KD cultivated, severely injured.

However, Fang Senyan had still been delayed by nearly a second, and he instantly felt a tremendous threat approaching from ahead. He had two choices: either immediately consume a Potion of Honor, or use the teleportation ability of his Dark Gold Ring. Either option could resolve the current crisis! But just then, a sudden shift occurred in Fang Senyan’s mind… a flurry of thoughts flashed through him:

"After I approached this building, the previous attacks I suffered were coordinated with remarkable precision…"

"So there must be one person issuing orders. My every move has been anticipated by five or six parts…"

"The mastermind behind this is extremely cautious, a classic case of retreating immediately upon a failed strike. It probably isn't him, but it must be the one controlling the battlefield situation on his behalf."

"For an operation like this, a wise commander on the scene is necessary. But there should only be one such wise person! Having too many people issuing orders is hardly a good thing!"

"...If I were in the enemy's position, how would I react?"

These thoughts flashed by in an instant. A cruel glint appeared in Fang Senyan's eyes, and he chose to do nothing at all!

The next second, an incredibly dazzling pillar of light spewed forth from the dust cloud. The light was intensely focused, and as it shot out, it carried a force that seemed to churn the very heavens. It struck Fang Senyan squarely in the chest. The light erupted with such violent intensity, like the blinding glare of welding, only magnified a hundred, a thousand, a hundred thousand times! It was almost enough to blind the eye and destroy the spirit!

Such a magnificent display of might could only be described as the focused beam of a capital ship’s main cannon. The sheer energy leaking from this single strike was enough to destroy the load-bearing structure of the building, causing it to shake violently before it collapsed with a roar!

Rolling clouds of smoke and dust churned furiously, rising like towering banks of vapor! They threatened to engulf an area nearly a kilometer wide, sending ordinary people screaming and scattering in panic.

Amidst the swirling dust, a fully armed bronze mech was burning.

Fang Senyan was not unfamiliar with the design of this mech once he saw it; it was the expensive machinery from Avatar… the AMP suit. The full designation was the Amplified Mobility Platform—a medium-sized, single-operator mobile exoskeleton.

However, this machine appeared far more powerful and refined than the standard mechs seen on Pandora. If the mechs on the Avatar planet looked like brawny but sloppy rickshaw pullers, this one could only be described as a fully equipped special forces operative.

KD was also an exceptionally astute strategist. Following his advice, the team had managed to acquire quite a few hidden plot elements and valuable items.

It was worth noting that the corporation developing Pandora was a private conglomerate, and the military weaponry they possessed could not pose a threat to the government. Thus, the various weapons featured in the movies were actually twenty to thirty years behind Earth's current technology.

This powerful mech was a high-grade piece of equipment that the KD team managed to purchase after finding a way, alongside Goolit, to return to Earth aboard the Whale Rider mothership. After over three to four years of hibernation, they successfully arrived and acquired this advanced gear!

This AMP exoskeleton system could carry four people and was a true weapon of mass destruction that had already replaced the main battle tank, vastly exceeding the armor and energy output of the Pandoran models. Furthermore, KD had procured another devastating weapon from the Starship Troopers universe: the blueprints for the Yamato Cannon! Yes, the blueprints for the Yamato—the ultimate weapon installed on the Terran Battlecruiser in StarCraft!

The rest was obvious: KD found a way to combine the two, and after a series of modifications, it became their team’s ultimate trump card, possessing terrifying power! However, launching it once carried an immense cost. The primary issue was that the Yamato Cannon was designed to be mounted on massive vessels like Battlecruisers. Even though KD had reduced its output after modification, coupling it with the AMP exoskeleton system was jarringly mismatched, like an eighty-kilogram Caucasian Shepherd falling in love with a one-kilogram female Chihuahua… Every time the firing cycle came around, it was a disaster.

Because Fang Senyan’s momentum was so overwhelming, and Goolit knew they only had one shot—if they missed, the opponent's spellcaster possessed the ability to sever time and space—this attack was effectively a matter of life and death. Therefore, Goolit pushed the Yamato Cannon’s power to its absolute maximum, something he had never done before!

Of course, the resulting price was devastating. The AMP exoskeleton system they occupied looked extremely battered. Several critical areas were ablaze, the alarm in the cockpit blared ear-splittingly, and fire extinguishers continuously sprayed nitrogen. Moreover, the barrel of the Yamato Cannon mounted on the mech's shoulder was dissolving like a candle, dripping molten, crimson-red metal.

The energy gauge inside the cockpit had plummeted into the red zone, and sparks crackled and jumped across the instrument panel, making it look as if the whole thing might explode at any moment. Furthermore, the three occupants, KD included, appeared utterly exhausted.

This was entirely understandable. For the AMP exoskeleton system to utilize a superweapon like the Yamato Cannon, the energy system took the main strain. To boost the destructive power, the aiming, testing, calculation, balance modulation, and timing of the launch all required the crew members to link their mental energy together for control. Consequently, all three looked utterly spent, managing only weak, wry smiles.

"No!" Purzibila suddenly cried out, "Why haven't we received the kill notification?"

KD replied with confidence: "That's because he must be in a state of near-death, right? This guy is so highly regarded by Your Excellency; he couldn't possibly lack life-saving measures. Wait ten seconds for the energy to recover to 25%, and the vital sign radar will reactivate. We can then search for him beneath the wreckage and finish him off. The gear on this person is no small matter…"

KD had just spoken when the entire AMP suddenly convulsed violently. The thick, already heavily cracked bulletproof glass shattered into millions of crystalline shards! A charred, blackened arm thrust through the opening and seized Purzibila by the chest. Instantly, a faint, deep-green, ghostly glow emerged from the palm, and with savage force, the occupant was yanked out.

Purzibila, caught completely off guard, had one leg jammed in the window frame, and he was violently torn out, bloody and screaming in agony! But immediately following, an utterly cold fist smashed down toward his face…

With several sickeningly crisp thwacks! Just hearing the sound was enough to imagine how a skull could be smashed open like an egg!

Purzibila… dead!

The dust slowly settled, revealing a scorched and tattered silhouette standing there. The figure stood firm, imposing as a mountain, radiating an aura that seemed capable of suppressing the very earth. A flash of fire appeared as the figure pulled out a cigar, lit it, took a deep drag, and then tossed the glowing butt onto Purzibila’s corpse.

Fang Senyan stood with his back to KD and Goolit inside the AMP exoskeleton system, burning the Mokesha offering without reservation, clearly having absolute certainty in his ability to kill them.

Goolit’s breathing was ragged and heavy. KD’s face was ashen, his facial muscles twitching uncontrollably as he gripped his weapon tightly. They had intended to create an atmosphere of fighting to the bitter end, but the occasional coughs and sneezes completely ruined the mood. Fang Senyan stared at the cigar on the ground for a moment, sighed softly, and then turned around.

He looked coldly at Goolit, his voice chilling: "Quite the powerful energy cannon. It nearly killed me here."

As Fang Senyan spoke, he slowly raised his fist. Goolit suddenly drew his gun and emptied his clip frantically at Fang Senyan, but Fang Senyan was using misdirection; he lunged straight for KD! His previous display had not been intended to deceive KD, but rather to trick Goolit. Otherwise, if he had used the moment of attacking KD as cover to flee, chasing him down would have been troublesome… I had planned to write three updates today, but this chapter was too obscure. Therefore, I owe one update, which I will make up tomorrow. (To be continued)RQ
