Under such circumstances, Bos was almost intimidated by the sheer manic, ruthless aura radiating from Fang Senyan!

He had never witnessed anger manifested with such ferocious intensity. Bos’s throat involuntarily dried, and he nervously swallowed before opening his mouth to speak, only to be cut off by an urgent shout in the team channel: “Run, Bos!”

“What are you talking about? That bastard is the only one capable of fighting right now! And if we flee now, how could His Excellency possibly let us off?”

“That guy is too monstrous; his teammates are recovering at an astonishing speed! Besides, even if His Excellency seeks retribution, he won’t come for you first!”

“What do you mean by that?”

“Look behind you.”

Bos immediately turned his head, and a glance from the corner of his eye caught sight of Lamb, who had fully adopted the 'better you die than me' philosophy, already bolting twenty or thirty meters ahead. A bone-chilling cold swept down his spine. He wanted to curse loudly but lacked the breath or energy to do so.

He instantly channeled his power into the edge of the +6 Silver Plot Shortsword, aiming it at the charging Fang Senyan, and unleashed his ability, "Death Throw"!

Bos’s calculation was exquisitely precise. His Death Throw was maliciously designed: it activated the shortsword’s attached black magic ability. If the enemy was struck, aside from inflicting massive damage, it would also force an immediate saving throw against eight negative statuses: Slow, Freeze, Cripple, Curse, Weaken, Bleed, Blind, and Burn.

Of course, few unfortunates would suffer all eight negative effects. However, even fewer could escape all of them unscathed; typically, receiving at least four debuffs was standard.

In Bos’s expectation, although Fang Senyan charged with fierce momentum, if he dodged the Death Throw, he wouldn’t be able to catch up. If he didn't dodge, after the Death Throw hit, even with the myriad negative effects slowing him, Fang Senyan would only have fractions of a second to close the distance. If the brute managed to eliminate him within those fleeting moments, then it was simply fate.

However, to ensure stability, Bos had just downed a Potion of Honor, restoring his Health Points to the maximum. The chance of an Awakened being instantly killed on the first contact was genuinely slim.

But Bos had absolutely not anticipated that Fang Senyan would deliberately tank the Death Throw. He was afflicted with three negative statuses—Slow, Cripple, and Blind! All significantly reduced his pursuit speed, just as Bos predicted, leaving him only one chance to strike!

Watching Fang Senyan’s icy eyes, which seemed to burn with proximity, Bos tensed every muscle, mentally bracing for the next barrage of incoming attacks... the savage climax... In that instant, he rapidly swallowed three more potions: a Potion of Neural Dullness, reducing pain sensation to zero.

Stone Skin Potion, granting an additional 10% damage absorption.

Zombie Blood Extract, instantly slowing the user’s heartbeat and blood flow, decreasing their critical hit rate and attack speed by 10%, but reducing their chance of being critically hit by 20% and increasing movement speed by 25%.

Yet, the lightning-fast, agonizing strike Bos anticipated never arrived. What greeted him instead was a dizzying, rollercoaster sensation, as if he were soaring amidst clouds!

In that half-second, Fang Senyan had used his formidable gloves, which glowed with a deep emerald light, to tightly grip Bos’s ankles, and then hurled him directly into the beautifully, almost incandescently burning maple forest below!!

Tactical Toss!

Currently, under the care of Mist Song, Reef, Zi, San Zai, and Kurut Go in that maple forest had all recovered close to 40% of their HP. Mist Song was MAX status, Lamtas was MAX status, and Reef’s servant, Number Seven, was also MAX status. As the saying goes, two fists are no match for four hands. Now, Bos was about to face seven enemies whose eyes were blazing red with fury—and this was on Mist Song’s home turf! The opponents also had an MT and a unified formation. Bos felt as if he had plunged into an ice cellar, lacking even the slightest will to fight! This battle was utterly without suspense!

At this moment, Fang Senyan endured another volley of concentrated fire from the distant Contractors. This blast was astonishingly powerful; centered around him, a mushroom cloud soared over ten meters high before exploding outwards.

The savage shockwave was so fierce it tore the leaves from the maple trees planted by Mist Song nearby, sending them fluttering to the ground. Two or three adjacent multi-story buildings, already battered by two previous cold-shockwaves, could not withstand the impact of this flaming, roaring blow and immediately collapsed, kicking up a massive cloud of dust, making the scene resemble the apocalypse arriving ahead of schedule.

But when the smoke and dust cleared, Fang Senyan remained stubbornly half-kneeling, gasping violently. Flames still ravaged his body, yet his gaze remained fierce, and the cruel, savage grin on his lips had not faltered!

Mist Song, in the distance, immediately showed an expression of deep worry and anxiety, while Zi frowned slightly and whispered, "This guy... he's monstrous! Normally, without consuming medicine or using skills, he shouldn't have survived this attack! Could it be??"

Fang Senyan staggered to his feet, then raised a middle finger toward the sky, roaring with laughter, "You idiot, you think trapping me in place renders me helpless? Now, I’m going to show you how utterly wrong your mistake was. You gave me a full seventeen minutes and thirty-nine seconds to prepare. Therefore... at least half of the people here are going to die!"

As Fang Senyan finished speaking, a dazzling light flashed from his chest, and two phantoms overlapped. The fist symbolizing the Power-type Contractor now sported a layer of plate metal gauntlet. In contrast to Reef's Holy Cross, the pattern on the shield symbolizing the MT identity was a majestic, blood-red mountain peak!

Clearly, Fang Senyan had also broken through the limit of the Colonizer and entered the Awakened state. His accumulated power was no less than Reef's, and his equipment was no weaker. More importantly, although Reef had felt resentment earlier, he could always move and vent his frustration. Fang Senyan, however, had been completely suppressed in a state of absolute loss of control. There was no reason why he couldn't break through if Reef had!

Simultaneously, as the Awakened state activated, the illusion of the Solar Ladder shimmered behind Fang Senyan, now appearing far clearer, more vivid, and larger. All the tendrils of the Solar Ladder were seen plunging deep into the ground. The veins on Fang Senyan's forehead became clearly visible, and his eyes began to fill with bloodshot lines...

"It finally feels good to not have to suppress the virus instinct anymore... Erupt, Virus!"

Because Fang Senyan had initiated a team share, his profile was quickly pulled up by Reef: "Awakened No. 1018, Evolution Path: Survival/Offense."

"Awakened Survival Reward Gained: Tenacity. Because this Awakened already possesses the permanent negative trait of never being able to use any shield-type equipment, the Tenacity attribute grants 20 HP for every point of Stamina (Normal Contractors receive 10 HP)."

"Awakened Offense Reward Gained: Talent. Because this Awakened already possesses the permanent negative trait of never being able to use any shield-type equipment, the Talent attribute allows him to seamlessly switch between various melee weapons, enabling him to utilize their power even without possessing the requisite proficiency."

"Survival Awakening Skill Gained: Survival Mark. This Awakened can mark a target within a hundred meters, greatly enhancing its survivability. For the next three seconds, 75% of any damage the target receives will be distributed to this Awakened. Distribution is calculated from the theoretical damage value before factoring in defense and any damage reduction."

"Survival Mark initial cooldown is 10 seconds. Each use increases the cooldown by 30 seconds, up to a maximum of 300 seconds. The cooldown resets every 24 hours."

"Offense Awakening Skill Gained: Predator's Eye. Prey targeted by you will find it difficult to escape. Your eyes will emit an ability that acts upon the target's body, stealing 25% of the targeted enemy's movement speed and augmenting it onto your own body, lasting thirty seconds."

"Predator's Eye initial cooldown is 10 seconds. Each use increases the cooldown by 30 seconds, up to a maximum of 300 seconds. The cooldown resets every 24 hours."

"Awakening Skills must consume your own vitality to be unleashed. Occasional use will not affect the length of your lifespan, but please do not overuse them. Methods to replenish vitality are extremely rare and scarce."

"Target does not possess Aura abilities."

"I see." Zi snorted coldly. "With this bonus, this monster's HP has exceeded 6200. It seems his aptitude has also upgraded; no wonder he could last this long."

Reef frowned. "Strange, it’s impossible he didn't gain an Aura ability when he Awakened. Did he abandon it?"

Zi knew Fang Senyan had obtained the Sky Pearl, which was connected to the legendary strongest MT, so she suspected Fang Senyan’s lack of an Aura ability was related to this matter. However, she kept this suspicion to herself. Still, whenever Zi glanced at Mist Song nearby, she felt an inexplicable twist of discomfort and irritation—a sensation she had never experienced before.
