Immediately following this, the colossal truck underwent a stark transformation right where it stood. After several intricate folds, it became a massive, imposing robot, arcs of electricity swirling around its frame.
It moved as if driven mad, attacking the surrounding trees and earth, its mechanical joints grinding with the sound of corroded metal—it seemed anything within reach was a target. Then, everyone settled into the cockpit situated in the robot’s chest: Paul [Ella Bookstore 26bk].
---Paul, whose head was utterly deformed. The phrase "head utterly deformed" is rather general, so to be more specific, Paul appeared to have taken a widely known martial arts strike, "Twin Peaks Piercing the Ears." The enemy’s force was immense, but because Paul possessed the tougher constitution of a Contractor, his skull retained a certain resilience.
Thus, after suffering this incredibly fierce blow, though his skull shattered, it did not crack open. However, where a normal skull spans about thirty centimeters, his had been violently compressed down to fifteen.
What a bizarre and gruesome spectacle! Paul, who was piloting the robot, now had a completely contorted face; his head had twisted into a shape both grotesque and terrifying: His eyeballs protruded nearly two to three centimeters from their sockets.
From his nostrils and ear canals flowed thick, viscous blood, threaded with faint wisps of white. Yet, the tenacious life force of a Contractor still sustained him as he teetered on the brink of death, plunging into a final frenzy, blindly venting all his rage, power, and humiliation upon the surrounding trees and soil.
“This… this… this…” Bokan was so shocked he couldn't speak. It was Fang Senyan who, observing the rampaging, transforming robot, spoke in a deep voice: “Is this Paul’s trump card?
He certainly kept it well hidden. A giant transforming robot, seems like a Transformer?” “No,” Dardanian interjected immediately.
“Paul was also an incredibly lucky fellow; he acquired a fragment of the Allspark.” “What?” Hearing the words Allspark, everyone involuntarily gasped in unison! Even those unfamiliar with the world of the Transformers must understand the significance of that item.
The Allspark, much like the One Ring in the Lord of the Rings universe, the Mask of Loki from The Mask, or the spider that granted Spider-Man his abilities, ranks among the ultimate secrets of related parallel worlds. And this Allspark fragment was actually obtained by Paul, who was still merely an Awakened.
It was akin to obtaining a lucky account or a divine artifact in an online game. Though it was only a fragment, the effect it produced was staggering.
After Dardanian and the others recovered from this revelation, he continued: “You all should know that precise machinery brought near the Allspark has the potential to be endowed with life and the ability to transform. Paul utilized his specialties in metal control and puppetry, dissolving the Allspark fragment into his inherent life-bound puppet, thus forging this powerful transforming robot.
Paul named it ‘War God.’” At that moment, Paul finally drew his last breath, dying tragically, and his life-bound puppet exploded violently, vanishing from this world. Hearing the name "War God," Fang Senyan coldly scoffed, “War God?
He certainly has grand aspirations.” Dardanian sighed. “Boss, I’m serious.
This guy once piloted the War God and fought Ironhide, a character from the Transformers storyline, to a standstill. If not for the time limit on the summon, he might have even won.” Fang Senyan fell silent, frowning and nodding in acknowledgment.
“Everyone should understand the enemy’s intention—it’s naturally to disrupt our morale. We just need to stick tightly together and not lose our composure, and there won’t be any problem.” However, just as Fang Senyan finished speaking, a faint, indescribable scent of sulfur reached his nose.
His heart lurched violently, and just as he was about to shout a warning, a pair of cold, crimson eyes were already fixed upon them in the distance. Simultaneously, within the field of view of these eyes, which acted like infrared detectors, two constantly jumping red triangles suddenly locked onto the heads of two bodies emitting heat signatures.
Then came the targeting lock and firing prompt. The next second, two dazzling beams of high-energy laser fire seemed to shoot out from the void, striking the unsuspecting Bokan and Dardanian simultaneously on the head, one from the left and one from the right.
Amidst fierce explosions, both men were thrown backward. Being struck in vital areas dealt them an especially severe blow, causing not just agony but also a degree of intense disorientation.
Immediately following this, a towering figure resembling a demon god slowly materialized from the air. This was a Predator far more massive than the others, wearing a majestic red mask adorned with a bizarre symbol—an honor within the Predator clan, a supreme glory only attained by powerful 'Cleaners' who had achieved sufficient kill counts.
Its entire suit of armor was also colored red, giving it an initial appearance reminiscent of a Clotho (Saint Cloth). An aura of majesty radiated from the gaps, revealing exceptionally hard blocks of tan muscle.
On its shoulders, positioned symmetrically, were two high-energy laser shoulder cannons. Furthermore, at the position of its navel on its abdomen, there was a brilliantly shining crystal.
At first glance, it merely seemed bright, but upon closer inspection, it appeared as deep as a gulf, seemingly capable of swallowing any gaze directed at it—clearly no simple decoration. The only piece of good news was that a similar crystal on this creature’s chest was already dull, showing clear cracks, indicating it had been destroyed during the previous battle with Paul.
The armor worn by this uninvited guest was exclusive to the powerful Predator Arbitrators; lower-ranking Predators were not qualified to possess it. Importantly, the lack of qualification wasn't an issue of status; rather, while this armor boasted incredibly strong defense and attack capabilities, its weight was astonishing.
Without the power of an Arbitrator, a regular Predator would be crushed merely by walking a short distance, let alone engaging in combat. In fact, many protocols within the Predator clan were not as strictly hierarchical as one might imagine; if you could wear it and use it, you could even claim a set of the Queen’s gear.
The powerful being descending now was precisely the master of the Predator Mothership, the murderer of his own daughter, and one of the few strong Predators promoted to Arbitrator based on Cleaner achievements: Surado Bloodspear. Seeing the two most vulnerable members of his team attacked, Fang Senyan knew things were going badly.
He immediately prepared to unleash the ‘Rage of the Horns’ upon the attacker. However, the Predator Arbitrator was battle-hardened.
The initial dual strike against the two was executed by his onboard bio-computer; his own attention was focused almost entirely on Fang Senyan. Thus, at the moment the red triangles in his targeting sight locked onto Dardanian and Bokan, the crystal at his waist activated, instantly firing a beam of light that was as sharp as a needle point yet as pliant as silk floss.
It snaked through the air like a serpent, piercing Fang Senyan’s brow. Fang Senyan instantly felt the entire world darken, and countless fissures appeared before his eyes, even leaking tiny streaks of blood.
He felt utterly submerged in a raging sea of pain, almost drowning, struggling desperately for a breath that felt like choking suffocation, his blood nearly boiling, pounding against his temples with a pressure that felt ready to explode. To onlookers, Fang Senyan, who moments before looked fierce and ready to charge without fear, froze instantly, his pupils shrinking strangely to pinpricks, his whites completely bloodshot.
In that momentary pause, the Predator Arbitrator raised his right hand and fired a shimmering sphere that shot toward him, instantly unfolding in the air to become a metal net that descended to cover him completely. Upon closer inspection, the net appeared singular, but it was actually composed of at least ten overlapping layers.
Fang Senyan could previously tear such a net in half using his immense strength and reinforced gauntlets, but ten overlapping layers immediately trapped him securely. “Fortunately, Roni and Aldaris can still intervene…” This was the only coherent thought Fang Senyan managed to retain amidst the excruciating pain.
Yet, unknown to him, while maintaining the posture of having thrown the net at him, the Arbitrator had bizarrely flickered and manifested four phantom images, all simultaneously lunging at Aldaris, Roni, and the dazed and spinning Bokan and Dardanian. In an instant, Fang Senyan was restrained, and Roni and Aldaris were forced onto the defensive by the powerful opening attack from the Predator Arbitrator.
This gave the Predator the opportunity to pick them off one by one. And the Arbitrator’s primary target was Bokan, the easiest to kill and the most crucial for support within the team.
Without any apparent charging motion, the creature shot backward. In his hand, he now held a crystal-glowing rod.
With a slight swing, as the two ends of the spear tip and shaft extended, it became a razor-sharp hunting spear, seemingly wreathed in roaring flames. (This site’s support is my greatest motivation!) Qunshuyuan qunshuyuan .RT
