The place Zier indicated was vast and empty, save for the tall grass swaying rhythmically in the wind. But his face was filled with delight, and he spoke with eagerness, “Lord Belon, you’ve finally returned. I always had a nagging feeling something was amiss.

With you here holding the fort, all our hearts are much steadier. Is this the skull of the prey you mentioned slaying? I can quickly process it for you; in less than an hour, it will be an exquisite artifact for your display shelf!” As Zier spoke, he trotted down the ramp with great diligence, reaching out naturally into the transparent air to receive the ‘prey’s skull’ existing only in his imagination: “Lord Belon!

What did you say? You want to promote me to a probationary Greyback? This is truly my honor!” The two Iron Bloods standing nearby had already swallowed a lump of unease, and a quiet dread began to sprout in their hearts.

One Iron Blood roared out in frantic anger, “Zier! Zier, you fool, you’re talking to the air!” Zier paid no heed, completely tossing his teammates’ cries behind him! This state of his was not only unimaginable to the Iron Bloods but also unexpected by the perpetrator himself, Fang Senyan!

It turned out that Zier’s rare condition was akin to a human’s ‘allergy.’ After the virus Fang Senyan had introduced invaded his body, it engaged in a tug-of-war with his own immune system. The defeated A-virus, mixed with the remnants of his immune cells, caused a brand-new substance to appear within him. Zier’s brain was susceptible to this novel substance, manifesting as hallucinations, just like an allergic reaction.

What he was ‘seeing’ at that moment was entirely a projection of what he most desired to happen deep in his heart. Because of this, it was very difficult for others to wake him, as Zier himself yearned for this illusion to persist and would instinctively resist anything trying to pull him out. Therefore, a few calls would absolutely not be enough to rouse him!

“Damn this magnetic field! The interference is so strong. Although this thing shielded those disgusting humans from detection, it’s also crippling our communications.

Otherwise, we could immediately ask Lord Belon what happened!” The two Iron Bloods immediately realized something was wrong and quickly retreated toward the ship’s cabin. “No. We need to immediately activate the high-powered communication array on the ship to report to the mothership?” But just then, a stone wall abruptly materialized, blocking the path that was only about ten meters between them and the flyer!

Immediately following this, the earth beneath them began to crack and burst open. The prey that had gone out earlier for one-on-one duels with their kin suddenly appeared, one by one. Although their bodies were riddled with wounds, they still appeared to retain considerable strength.

It turned out that after Fang Senyan fiercely slew the Greyback Belon, he rested briefly and then immediately went to support the closest person, who happened to be Paul. Although Paul and he hadn’t completely turned against each other, they were certainly close to it. However, at a moment like this, Paul could still distinguish priorities.

He obediently stayed nearby to help. In truth, the most important factor was that Fang Senyan being alive meant far more benefit than harm to Paul. Why say that?

Because according to Paul’s original plan, if all six of them flew into space together, the probability of each being hunted was $2^6 = 33%$. But if Fang Senyan died, the chance of each being hunted would rise to $2^5 = 40%$. Of course, Paul was also well aware that he might not be able to kill this guy in front of him quickly, even if he exerted his full power!

With Fang Senyan and Paul joining forces, they sought out the others. This time, it became a 1-vs-3 scenario, making the fight significantly easier. As for Aldaris and Ronnie, they managed to take down their opponents without needing backup.

After everyone regrouped, they hadn’t anticipated such smooth success, so they immediately set their sights on the three Iron Bloods left guarding the ship. According to the intelligence they had gathered, the weakness of the Predator’s mask sensor seemed to be its inability to penetrate dense earth. In the plot of the first movie, Arnold, completely coated in mud, managed to evade the Predator’s scan.

However, there seemed to be two factions among the Predators: one focusing on physical prowess (the body-skill faction) and another on technology. The body-skill faction advocated training the body, using proficient combat skills and immense strength to deal with enemies. The other smaller faction was obsessed with using more advanced functions and weaponry.

The extremists in these two factions even reached a point of mutually assured destruction, which could be seen in the third Predator film. The masks used by the technology faction could easily see through mud camouflage. But Fang Senyan reasoned that since bringing young noble scions for trials was an official action, the ruling Queen of the Predators—who was herself the most powerful combatant among the Predators and the greatest beneficiary of the body-skill faction—must undoubtedly support that faction.

Therefore, the warriors under her command certainly would not belong to the technology faction. So, Fang Senyan used this reasoning to persuade Pokan, having him lead everyone to carve out tunnels underground. Under the cover of the soil, they quietly approached the three remaining Iron Bloods guarding the ship, setting up this unexpected ambush!

Fang Senyan and the others had long premeditated this. As soon as the fight started, they first threw several grenades, kicking up thick smoke and reducing visibility. Then, with a mighty heave, they hurled several pitch-black objects forward.

These two guards were already on high alert. They immediately activated their shoulder cannons and fired wildly. To their surprise, the objects remained intact even after being hit by a burst of high-energy laser fire.

They could only switch to rapid-fire mode, resulting in continuous mid-air explosions. When the debris finally fell, they realized the projectiles were nothing more than smoking, charred corpses!! Fang Senyan burst into laughter: “Congratulations on killing your own officers and comrades!” Hearing this, the two Iron Bloods’ eyes widened in fury.

They looked closely and saw that the charred bodies they had blown to pieces were indeed their comrades from before. What shattered their nerves even further was that even Greyback Belon’s corpse had been destroyed; half of his head rolled near them, one dark, empty eye socket staring vacantly, the fangs on his trapezoidal mandibles still visible, radiating an intense sense of resentment and ferocity. Dardanyan also sighed, “We have different customs than you.

When a duel is won, we hold back and bring the opponent for treatment. Why did you kill them?” The Predators were inherently taciturn creatures, preferring to settle disputes with metal and blood. Hearing Fang Senyan and his group’s sophistry, fire seemed ready to erupt from their eyes, yet they had no idea how to refute the baseless arguments.

They felt all the blood rush to their heads, and their shoulder cannons had entered cooldown. They could only let out a roar, draw the katanas at their waists, and charge straight at Fang Senyan’s group. There is no need to elaborate further on the battle itself.

Fang Senyan and his five companions took on the two opponents, and they had the advantage of planning against enemies who were wholly consumed by frenzy, having nearly lost all reason. In such a state, simply put, attack power increases while defense decreases, compounded by Fang Senyan’s illness acting up incessantly. Thus, without expending much effort, they successfully captured this Predator spaceship, and they even took one Iron Blood warrior whose mind had completely collapsed prisoner.

After securing control, Fang Senyan sat down forcefully in the command chair, tending to his own wounds while looking at the others again: “I must bring this up again. Have you changed your minds yet?” Paul let out a cold sneer, narrowing his eyes: “I think you’ve forgotten something, Water Sailor. In the third movie, someone tried to do the exact same thing as you, and they succeeded—flying several hundred meters above the ground.

Then, the ship’s original owner hit the activation button, and the ship, along with him, exploded into brilliant fireworks! The path you’re desperately pursuing is a dead end! A path to death!” However, Fang Senyan had clearly considered this issue and replied calmly, “I noted the crucial point you mentioned, but you must remember, that Predator ship belonged to the aggressive technological faction of the clan!

The ship we are currently on, however, is directly controlled by the Queen’s lineage—it is undoubtedly a ship of the conservative faction.” Saying this, Fang Senyan cast a contemptuous glance at Paul, as if looking at a kindergarten child: “And you missed the most important point. I ask you, what is the purpose of this ship?” Paul’s face was ashen as he remained silent. The reason he didn't speak was that he couldn't find a counterargument, but this silence made him seem as if he were silently enduring Fang Senyan’s lecture… Fang Senyan stated plainly: “Let me answer that for you.

This ship is used to transport underage nobles among the Predators for their hunting trials on Eplos. How could a vessel carrying such important personnel possibly be equipped with a remote self-destruct function? Would Air Force One be fitted with a self-destruct device?” At this point, Pokan stepped in to smooth things over for Paul: “What you are saying are all conjectures, but we cannot stake our lives on speculation.” Fang Senyan looked deeply at Pokan: “We are a team; we have faced life and death together!

We have relied on and supported each other during the most difficult times. By taking this ship, there is a high probability that we can all escape safely. Why must we force someone to die?”
