The passage had not yet plunged deep underground, remaining only three or four meters below the surface. With silent concentration, Bokkan cast a spell, completing Fang Senyan's request in under three seconds, allowing the group to ascend to the surface as if riding an elevator.
Thus, they saw a most peculiar portal hanging in mid-air. It was square, and strangely, it resembled a massive, thick book from the fifteenth or sixteenth century in the West, bound in bronze and made of vellum pages.
Immediately, the portal sharpened into focus, and they could discern a line of golden, glowing arcuate letters across its surface. Beneath the lettering were four distinct images. The first depicted a golden Griffin; the second, an Eagle soaring in the heavens; the third, a fierce Badger; and the fourth, a massive black Serpent! Simultaneously, Fang Senyan felt the dark-gold ring on his finger, the 'Coil of Victory,' begin to heat up rapidly. Those with keener eyesight managed to read the line of golden script: HOGWARTS!!! "Blast it, why is the plane of Harry Potter overlapping with this one! This completely violates the rules of spatial distortion!!" Paul couldn't help but cry out, his voice laced with genuine terror for the first time: "For such dissimilar planes to draw near—does this mean our primary plane of humanity is so weakened that it is on the verge of collapse? Huh? You all..."
Hearing Paul's words, everyone’s gaze instantly converged upon him. Clearly, what he had just said had subtly, perhaps even inadvertently, revealed the deepest secrets hidden beneath the surface: planes, time, destruction, and overlap!
Fang Senyan gave Paul a deep look and smiled faintly. "It seems I still don't know you very well, Mr. Paul. However, I can certainly tell you why a portal to the Harry Potter world has appeared in this accursed location. It is because the negative side effect of this ring on my finger is quite potent; it constantly feeds coordinates to Gandalf."
"Then, the respected Archmage, when in a state of emotional turmoil, sends elemental creatures to trouble me—Don't ask me what kind of elementals. This is my first time experiencing such a baptism—you have the right to choose whether to help or not; this is my personal affair."
Aldaris stepped beside him and stated coolly, "While it is your affair, the delay in tallying the spoils of war is mine."
Ronnie’s face flickered several times. It seemed that the severe beating Fang Senyan had delivered had finally shattered the extraneous thoughts in his mind. He silently retreated a few steps, moving out of the group’s view, clearly preparing for combat as well.
Bokkan sighed, "I despise any elemental creature that I do not control."
At this moment, the peculiar portal of Hogwarts began to open, but the manner of its opening was that of the massive, heavy magical tome slowly unfolding! It instantly expanded to over ten meters in size, emanating a majestic authority born of accumulated history, utterly inviolable.
Following the unfolding of the giant magical book, two pages were naturally revealed clearly. Though illusory, the vellum pages edged with gold looked immensely textural, possessing an astonishing sense of antiquity. But what drew the eye even more were the engravings upon them: two bizarre figures rendered in unidentified pigments. The first figure showed a ghost-like entity shrouded in a deep black cloak, lacking lower limbs, floating suspended, its weapon a massive, pitch-black scythe. Beneath it were written six letters in ancient Elvish script: DARK ELEMENT—MEIKER!
The bizarre figure drawn on the right-hand page was a massive, stout creature, possessing neither legs nor a neck; its broad, flat head connected directly to its torso. A pair of small eyes glittered menacingly, and its arms were disproportionately long and thick. Its body was sturdy as a fortress, exhibiting an ashen-grey, rocky color and texture. Its name was: STONEBLADE RAZEL.
Yes, this was the fate Fang Senyan had to endure upon acquiring the Coil of Victory: Dumbledore’s Wrath! Even if you escaped Dumbledore’s direct punishment, his fury was infused into the ring itself. The owner of this jewel would be tacitly recognized as a lifelong enemy of Hogwarts and its allies! This remains true even if the ring is relinquished! Furthermore, Dumbledore would dispatch his elemental servants periodically to assassinate the bearer.
Though Fang Senyan hadn't turned, he suddenly sensed that the breathing of a certain person behind him had become noticeably heavier, filled with an unprecedented excitement—as if a youth encountering intimate matters for the very first time.
The giant magical book began to fade away. Even someone as powerful as Mr. Dumbledore could not maintain a spatial gate single-handedly for long; his current ability was undoubtedly tied to the covetable equipment covering his body. However, Fang Senyan noticed that while the lines defining the vast majority of the magical book were fading, the lines depicting the Dark Element, Meiker, and Stoneblade Razel before them became strikingly clear!
Their eyes began to glow, focusing intently on Fang Senyan’s finger. That meaningless light started to convey emotion—Dumbledore’s rage! Regrettably, any attack directed at them now would be ineffective, as they currently belonged to the plane of the Harry Potter world. Unless the attack could pierce dimensional barriers, it would be useless.
As the magical book slowly vanished, the two elemental creatures began a gradual transformation from 2D flat drawings into 3D reality!
At this juncture, Bokkan suddenly spoke to Fang Senyan in a low, strained voice, "Sailor, can you do me a favor?"
Fang Senyan glanced at Bokkan, seeming to peer into his mind. After a moment of thought, he suddenly asked, "Your target is Stoneblade Razel?"
Bokkan was startled. "How did you know?"
Fang Senyan replied irritably, "I know your talent set, and your visible change is clearly triggered by the two appearing before us... Please, you don't need a brain to connect those two points."
Bokkan sighed. "Many of my special abilities require a contracted symbiotic elemental to share the burden. The more powerful this contracted symbiote, the stronger the augmentation for me."
Hearing this, Fang Senyan recalled the stone elemental that had swallowed him to shield him during their breakthrough—that creature had decent appearance, but in Fang Senyan's estimation, it had many flaws. To avoid a tedious list here, only its greatest shortcoming would be mentioned! That stone elemental was merely an ordinary stone elemental.
Clearly, this was a perpetual pain in Bokkan's heart, akin to a peerless beauty being forced to marry a good-for-nothing—a feeling of stifled frustration and sorrow. But, such was fate! Elementals like earth sprites only existed in certain ancient high-magic worlds, and they required extremely specific environmental conditions to form. Just encountering one was a stroke of luck.
Of course, it must be emphasized that the creatures capable of contracting with Bokkan were never soulless artificial constructs summoned by mages; they had to be naturally born, environmentally friendly, wild, and untainted.
Dumbledore's dispatched "Stoneblade Razel," however, was not Dumbledore's creation; it could be understood as a pet like a highly-trained guard dog or livestock bred by humans. More critically, this being had already reached the level of a Fifth-Tier Legendary Creature. In terms of status and lineage alone, it was enough to crush Bokkan's rustic stone elemental underfoot. Furthermore, contracting with it would grant Bokkan at least a 13% all-around augmentation, along with a minimum of three new abilities.
More importantly, missing this opportunity meant Bokkan might have to wait untold years to find another stone elemental suitable for his contract—it was no wonder the man was so agitated.
Fang Senyan smiled at Bokkan. "I have no issue, but I cannot accomplish this alone. You must convince them to help if we are to subdue that creature."
Bokkan decisively stated, "I will forfeit all merit from this battle and the next, allowing you all to divide it."
As he spoke these words, the two elemental servants dispatched by Dumbledore arrived in this world. Undeniably, they ignored everyone else and stared fixedly at Fang Senyan. This played perfectly into Fang Senyan’s hands; as the main tank (MT), his threat level was automatically locked at MAX, making the ensuing battle much simpler.
Aldaris flicked a finger, sending a bolt of lightning slamming into Stoneblade Razel's shoulder. A small crater erupted, scattering stone shards, yet the creature seemed entirely unaffected. It used its thick, sturdy arms to support its body and moved rapidly; the absence of legs appeared to be no disadvantage whatsoever.
Conversely, upon seeing Aldaris strike, Bokkan let out a piercing shriek, as if the stone shards blasted from Razel’s body were pieces of his own flesh. He immediately became extremely anxious: "Let me handle it! I can delay it. You focus on eliminating that Dark Element first, then come help me!"
Though the Dark Element Meiker resembled the Grim Reaper, it was barely even a shoddy imitation. Its unique ability was to inflict a 'Dark Curse' upon anyone it hit, reducing Attack Power by 10% and Maximum Health by 5% for ten minutes. Additionally, it possessed the ability to transform a thirty-square-meter area into an ocean of shadows, where enemies struggled to move, while Meiker gained significant power enhancements within the gloom.
