"But you don't like singing," I laughed, watching her bored expression. "Come with me to the restroom - I had two extra drinks and need to relieve myself. No arguments! You know exactly what I want... can't you just indulge your poor little girl for once?"

Walking while adjusting my clothes, I teased, "I avoid singing mostly because my voice is terrible. Listening to yours is always a pleasure though. We should come here more often since it's Fatso's place anyway."

The two girls were giggling in the women's restroom when suddenly the door creaked open. Both of us froze as some woman came over and tugged at our partition curtain before moving on. I heard her unzipping whileQian wiped her... "Do you really find female urination noises entertaining?"

I quietly zipped up my pants as Qian held up her soaked thong to show me, whispering in my ear, "You should wring out some of the moisture first - can't have you going commando."

Pouting unhappily, Qian reluctantly put on the wet underwear. The woman next stall had just zipped back up when her phone rang.

"Hello? It's He Yuxin," came a sharp voice through the partition. "What more do you want from me? I've already agreed to dinner and singing as requested. Release my grandfather immediately or I'll call the police!"

My eyes widened - it was He Yuxin! I silently cursed not having peeked earlier when she first entered. Qian helped me sit on the toilet while positioning herself to better hear through the wall.

"You're going too far!" came her defiant voice. "I gave you gifts, attended dinner and dancing. Now asking for my body is absolute nonsense! If anyone dares hurt Grandpa..."

Someone was clearly using He's grandfather as leverage. This could be another hero-to-the-rescue scenario - last time she stayed at my place nothing happened but I still liked her general vibe. And since she was Li Qi's friend...

I discreetly sent a text to Taosi, now our long-distance contact method. "Arrange surveillance on He Yuxin immediately," I wrote.

Taosi's reply came instantly: *On it - I'll handle everything personally.*

With Taosi handling things, I decided not to get directly involved despite my usual hero complex - though past experience showed beautiful women often fell for brave rescuers.

"I won't be here much longer to help her," I whispered as Qian continued listening.

"Are you afraid she might fall for you?" she asked mischievously.

"Not entirely... mainly because I need to stay with you all."

"Pshh, such a good boyfriend! He Yuxin is notoriously low-key - that's why it took her until junior year to make the Golden Blossom Rankings. With her looks, she should've ranked in freshman year but she rarely socializes..." Qian continued chattering.

We finally left the restroom after nearly forty minutes. Taosi was already waiting by the door when we returned.

"Since Big Boss refuses to act," Taosi joked while wrapping an arm around me, "I'll just take credit for rescuing her. Don't get jealous if she falls for me though."

"Go to hell," I laughed. "Only a crazy cat would fall for you. Move carefully - her grandfather is still being held hostage so resolve that situation first before attempting any rescue operations."

We both chuckled when Fang Yanmeng suddenly barged in, hugging Taosi tightly.

"I was about to call the cops if you two kept laughing like perverts!" she scolded. "If I ever catch you cheating..."

"Your little wife needs to invest more time in security," Taosi smirked back.

I gave Taosi a mental nudge: *Just go already.* He vanished into the hallway while Fang asked curiously, "Why's Taosi running around?"

"He Yuxin is having some trouble with her grandfather. I've sent Taosi to handle it."

She pouted at me, "Why aren't you going? You won my heart by rescuing me once before!"

"You've got enough company already," I said, pulling her inside.

The three of us were interrupted when two soaked men stumbled in from the stairwell.

"Commander Zhao! Finally found you!" they barked. "We almost became turtle food!"

I froze as their seaweed-scented clothes came into view - had they fallen into the ocean?

"What happened to you two?" I asked.

Cai Bao'er plopped onto a chair dramatically, "All your shoes' fault! We were flying like monkeys when suddenly we plunged into the sea..."

"Did the shoes malfunction?" I questioned Zhu Da.

He nodded grimly. "Battery depletion mid-flight - maybe they need some software updates?"

Picking up my phone to contact Xiaoyu for modifications, I overheard Cai Bao'er grumbling about bad luck and dragging his friend's soaked body into the restroom.

As we waited for new clothes, Zhu Da laughed, "We're going to make headlines tonight! Tomorrow's news will be epic - let's keep making trouble until King Mula submits!"

"Tomorrow night I'll join you," I decided. "Time is critical."

The three of us finally changed and returned to the karaoke room where Cai Jingjing greeted her brother with obvious disappointment as his eyes were already fixed on Su Xue.
