After finishing dinner, I bid my mother farewell and headed upstairs. Thanks to Zhao Fen and Zhao Fang handling the cooking, the four women downstairs managed all their meals upstairs, provided they weren't out. Although my mother warmly invited them to our home, the presence of too many people made everyone reluctant to impose on her.

Little Yu Di and Xiao Hui were fiddling with a strange instrument. It resembled a laptop but was smaller, with several long cables attached to the outside.

I asked, "What is that?"

Xiao Hui replied, "Brother, this is a ray scanner. It can analyze any object. We plan to use it to carefully observe the interior of the concrete wall and then determine the exact steps for sectioning it."

I exclaimed excitedly, "Great! You finally succeeded in developing it. Let's go tonight."

Just then, the women rushed out of their rooms, all dressed in sleek combat gear. "We're all coming to watch the excitement!"

Good heavens, was this something to just watch? There might be danger involved. Taozi looked quite gloomy and said to me, "Sigh, these women trust you far too much. They always assume that as long as you're around, nothing dangerous can happen."

I told Taozi, "That's why I must protect them, even at the cost of my own life. Let them go. Those strange people who time-traveled back didn't have much lethality; the security guards who died were all scared to death. Now that we understand the truth, even if we actually see ourselves, we won't be that frightened."

Taozi conceded, "Alright then. I'll send all the Machine Soldiers in with the Tigers. The fifteen Super Soldiers will also be fully deployed tonight. Oh, and don't keep the fifty Super Soldiers from Commander Zhu out too long. Once the world-class arms sales network is established, recall them. Keeping them out for too long might attract M-Nation's attention. If there are any issues with the sales network, send them out to resolve them then. Staying home is much safer than being out there."

"That's true," I agreed. "After all, the Super Soldiers are a huge secret right now. If the M-Nation people ever find out, they might start plotting against them. I'll call Commander Zhu right away. We aren't going to the Yuejin Building until after 11 anyway."

When Zhu Da heard we were going to the Yuejin Building, he insisted on joining. So, I arranged to meet him outside the main entrance at 11 o'clock.

After 11 PM, all employees had left, and our formidable force immediately moved in. Although we didn't know what had happened on the floors below the 12th, since we had already rented those sections out, it would be inappropriate for us to intrude. Thus, all 500 Machine Soldiers were stationed from the 13th to the 18th floors and the three basement levels, set up in patrols—a guard every three steps, a sentry every five steps—reinforced by about fifteen Super Soldiers acting as close protection. The 'Daughter Army' advanced toward their destination.

Zhang Xiaoya was on a flight mission, and Fang Yanmeng was overseas and wouldn't return for a few days. Zhao Fen, Zhao Fang, Yi Xiaorou, Xiao Chuchu, Cheng Susu, Little Yu Di, Xiao Hui, along with myself, Zhu Da, Xia Huren, and Taozi, each carried a new piece of equipment—an Energy Fluctuation Detector. As long as energy was active nearby, it would display the energy's intensity and the range of its fluctuations on the screen.

Since there were too many of us, we had to split into two elevators. Naturally, we kept Elevator No. 2 vacant. Entering the elevator lobby, I said to Zhu Da, "Commander Zhu, tomorrow you and Taozi need to thoroughly inspect all the maintenance workers at the Yuejin Building. Why did the elevators malfunction, and why did they suddenly report being overloaded? I suspect someone is manipulating things behind the scenes. We got so busy making money lately that we overlooked this matter."

Zhu Da responded, "Understood, small matter. But will the elevator malfunction tonight? If the overload warning actually sounds when only one person is inside, could it be a ghost hitching a ride? Even if we can't see them, they are truly surrounding you, all baring their fangs and spitting blood..."

Zhao Fang and Xiao Chuchu, standing nearby, landed several sharp kicks that silenced Zhu Da. Everyone was already nervous, and Zhu Da had to utter such nonsense.

Perhaps because of the dense presence of Machine Soldiers everywhere, Boss Zhang didn't dare to show himself, or perhaps the conditions required for him to emerge had not yet been met. We safely reached the 17th floor, and the group soon stood before the concrete wall bearing that strange mural.

Zhao Fang giggled upon seeing the mural, "Why paint the sun like a heart? Is the person who painted this mural in love?"

Cheng Susu said, "This painting has been here since the building was completed. We don't know who created it. Perhaps it holds some special meaning, especially since this wall is unusual; Peng Village wouldn't leave behind zero clues."

Xiao Hui suddenly spoke up, "This painting is highly meaningful. If my system analysis is correct, the contents inside should be related to the three Energy Stones. Look at the three stars beneath the sun; don't they resemble the three Energy Stones emitting vast amounts of energy? And under the radiation of that immense energy, various flying objects and living beings depend on its survival. Perhaps what is inside the wall is the heart-shaped sun above the three Energy Stones."

The supercomputer was indeed a supercomputer. Although Little Yu Di was also a robot, her thinking was entirely human; thus, in some aspects, her capabilities couldn't compare to Xiao Hui's supercomputer.

Xiao Hui continued, "Brother, do you remember Miss telling you that the Hope experienced a malfunction while entering the atmosphere? From the perspective of future super-civilizations, the Hope would never make such a rudimentary error. Therefore, I suspect the configuration of the three Energy Stones is unstable. Why? Because it's missing a piece—perhaps this sun above."

Zhu Da slammed his hand on the Energy Fluctuation Detector and announced, "It sounds complicated, I don't understand. Let's just scan it first."

As Zhu Da spoke, he raised the Energy Fluctuation Detector toward the large mural. Suddenly, a bizarre event occurred: the detector's red signal flared up like a massive fireball, its brightness continuously increasing with no sign of stopping. It was glaringly red, making it difficult to look at directly.

Zhu Da cursed loudly, "My sun! Damn, what is that thing!"

Bang! The Energy Fluctuation Detector suddenly exploded, startling Zhu Da so much that he flung the device away. "What happened?"

Zhao Fang exclaimed, "Energy! Powerful energy! It's that sun—that sun holds immense energy. Brother-in-law, we've struck gold!"

Damn right we struck gold, and more! If what Einstein, that old sage, said was true—that the unified field could allow us to traverse multi-dimensional space for interstellar navigation—then the true Age of the Universe would arrive. Not to mention achieving time travel, going back to antiquity to fetch some broken bricks and tiles to pass off as antiques.

The situation was clear. Little Yu Di directed everyone to set up the ray scanner, connecting the cables to the wall and powering it on. On the screen, the concrete wall had vanished. I had still overestimated Peng Village's capabilities; there was no complex structure inside, nothing but a transparent, triangle-shaped entity.

It was a pyramid-like, triangular object. Through the glass-like casing, it contained something resembling a human heart, pulsating with regular expansion and contraction. Overall, it was indistinguishable from a human heart.

What now? Everyone looked to me. I waved my hand decisively, "Dig it out, then send it back to base for research. If Xiao Hui is right, maybe the performance of our Hope spacecraft can be vastly improved. If its energy is inexhaustible, we can save massive amounts of petroleum and natural gas in the future."

The rest was simple. Using the location map, laser guns made quick work of cutting out the triangular object. Xiao Hui and Little Yu Di, unable to contain their curiosity, insisted on rushing back to base that very night for research. Concerned for their safety, I dispatched all 15 Super Soldiers. Plus, there were over ten thousand Machine Soldiers already at the base; it should be fine.

Having removed a significant worry so easily, I felt a strange sense of anticlimax. Perhaps humans need to constantly face challenges for life to feel meaningful and full of expectation.
