The continent that evolved from the Dragon Lizard Star was thronged with members of various alien races, their gazes burning as they fixed upon Shi Yan.

Throughout the Void Sea, many tales circulated. It was rumored that the powerful fragmented souls of Primordial Beings could merge into a martial artist's mind—a contingency plan left by the Primordials to eventually inhabit that martial artist, allowing them to resurrect in a different form should their other souls perish.

Martial artists harboring such a secondary soul remained sluggish and unaware until their cultivation reached a certain level, at which point they could activate the memories of the Primordial Being’s fragmented soul.

Should a mighty expert in the Immortal Realm manage to refine the soul of such an individual and absorb the residual imprint of the Primordial Being's fragmented soul, they could grasp the true meaning of dark energy, uncover the secrets of the Primordial Beings’ power, and perhaps even achieve a deeper comprehension of profound principles and divine abilities.

Such individuals were succulent morsels coveted by all, sparking intense greed even in those at the third level of the Immortal Realm.

In their eyes, Shi Yan was undoubtedly one such prize. Even the Dragon Lizard Ancestor, after sensing the marvels within him, grew hesitant, nursing new ambitions. For the Dragon Lizard Ancestor, no method was more direct than refining Shi Yan and absorbing that Primordial Being's fragmented soul; this would hasten his entry into the Domain Ancestor realm immeasurably.

Also present were two others whose cultivation levels matched his: Singh and the masked woman of the Phantom Race. They, too, stood at a crucial juncture, and Shi Yan’s allure to them was equally astounding.

Of course, among the contingents from the second-rate factions, a few had reached the second level of the Immortal Realm, and a sparse number had even attained the third level. While they hadn't reached the peak, they possessed the potential to break through to the Domain Ancestor level. If they could slay Shi Yan and absorb his essence, they too could experience a miraculous leap into that realm.

It was an irresistible temptation!

If Shi Yan hadn't suddenly displayed his formidable power, revealing his identity as a martial artist wielding the profound mysteries of space and stars, the assembly might have quickly descended into chaos.

The Dragon Lizard Ancestor was the first to compose himself. Recalling the warnings from Xuan Tian Clan’s Tu Shiqi and Ya Yun, he calmed his mind, banished the wicked thoughts from his heart, and projected a cordial demeanor.

Meteorites, shattered stars, and razor-sharp blades of space spun around Shi Yan’s head, creating a terrifying spectacle. He slanted a look at the Dragon Lizard Ancestor, a strange smile playing on his lips, and nodded, feigning fear: "I thought the Ancestor would strike me down without mercy."

The Dragon Lizard Ancestor’s face flushed with awkwardness, and he managed a dry, hesitant laugh, unsure how to reply.

Shi Yan’s lips twitched, an icy chill creeping into his heart. He looked at Audrey and deliberately spoke in the language of the Desolate Domain: "Are you alright? Have you broken through to the second level of the Prime God realm?"

Audrey gasped, her face filled with shock, and immediate panic seized her heart.

Yuan Mo of the Water Clan, along with Tu Shiqi and Ya Yun of the Xuan Tian Clan—all keenly aware of Singh’s intense focus on the Desolate Domain—had repeatedly warned her and Shi Yan never to communicate in the Desolate Domain language. They feared discovery by Singh, the Soul Clan, or the Earth Ghost Clan, which could provoke Singh into rash action.

Audrey knew Shi Yan was usually cautious; she couldn't fathom why he would suddenly be so careless at this critical juncture, speaking in the Desolate Domain language publicly and at such a high volume for so many to hear.

She instinctively glanced toward Singh.

Audrey’s heart tightened. Sure enough, upon hearing Shi Yan’s words, Singh looked as if a thief had stumbled upon stolen goods; he became utterly ecstatic, immediately bursting into uproarious laughter, proclaiming wildly, "To shatter iron shoes searching fruitlessly, only to find it without effort! Wonderful, truly wonderful!"

"You?" Audrey murmured with bitterness.

"It matters not, just let him know," Shi Yan sneered quietly. "Brother Dragon Lizard!" Singh moved in a flash, suddenly appearing before the Dragon Lizard Ancestor, a broad, fawning smile on his face. He pointed toward Shi Yan and Audrey, saying, "Can you entrust one of them to me? Ah, the woman would suffice. I need one alive, and I promise ample reward later!"

The Dragon Lizard Ancestor was stunned.

Audrey, meanwhile, turned pale, gripped by extreme tension, feeling that events had spiraled beyond her control and taken a strangely unexpected turn.

"They were invited here by me," the Dragon Lizard Ancestor said. Resentful of Singh, he had been suppressing his inner rage, planning to settle scores later. Singh’s direct demand for a person ignited his fury, which he could barely contain. He roared, "Singh, what exactly do you want? You keep opposing me today; do you think my Dragon Lizard Clan is easily bullied?"

Singh had originally planned to wait until the grand gathering concluded before subtly dealing with the Dragon Lizard Ancestor. However, Shi Yan’s "accidental" reveal of his Desolate Domain identity had instantly ignited the fire within him, making his whole being surge. "I only ask for one person! I ask you, Brother Dragon Lizard, just one: will you give me one person or not!" He pointed at Audrey. "This woman! She is of no benefit to your cultivation, Brother. Hand her over to me, and I will owe you a favor!"

"Insolence!" The Dragon Lizard Ancestor, long suppressed, finally let loose. In front of so many members of the alien races, being ordered about by Singh, his deep-seated rage erupted. He snarled, "Do you truly believe your Soul Clan rules supreme? I shall contend with you and see what right you have to dictate terms to me!"

"Boom!"

Like a volcano erupting, a terrifying roar emanated from the Dragon Lizard Ancestor's clone. Instantly, the ground beneath his feet cracked open into a deep, dark abyss. Lava, intensely hot like boiling water, spewed forth in a fountain, dousing the Dragon Lizard Ancestor. His clone shimmered like molten fire, emitting waves of fierce, untamed power.

"Crack! Crack! Crack!"

The Dragon Lizard Continent suddenly fractured. Explosive fluctuations burst forth from within chunks of meteorites and shattered stars, transforming into a monstrous creature resembling a giant lizard, larger than a mountain. Though not entirely solid, its aura was terrifying.

The giant lizard, condensed from the power of the rock, grasped a meteorite. The meteorite instantly shattered, its fragments raining down like dense arrows, all hurtling toward Singh.

"I truly did not wish for such a massive conflict, but Brother Dragon Lizard shows prejudice toward my Soul Clan, and I must correct that," Singh countered, utterly fearless. He grinned sinisterly, the ferocious souls swirling behind him—like savage ghosts—whirling up to meet the storm of meteorites.

"Krak-krak-krak!"

Torn apart by those vicious souls, the meteorites disintegrated into fine powder before they could reach Singh.

"That kid is truly insidious!" the masked woman of the Phantom Race observed coldly, watching the battle between the Dragon Lizard Ancestor and Singh. She suddenly spoke, "Without his instigation, the Dragon Lizard Ancestor and Singh would not have clashed so soon. He forcibly advanced their fight; the kid is quite cunning."

She had long discerned that the Dragon Lizard Ancestor and Singh were not as harmonious as the rumors suggested. From their exchanges, energy fluctuations, and shifts in expression, she sensed a conflict was inevitable between them. Yet, both the Dragon Lizard Ancestor and Singh had deliberately concealed their intentions, unwilling to openly tear off the facade amidst so many onlookers.

But Shi Yan’s few carefully chosen words finally pushed the suppressed fury of both men past its breaking point, inciting a frantic explosion of rage that led them to attack wildly.

The moment the battle ignited, she shifted her focus to Shi Yan, watching him with guarded vigilance.

At that very instant, Shi Yan’s expression shifted, layers of spatial fluctuations washing over him. The meteorites above his head spun like a windmill. Adams, Evelyn, and Marisha from the Celestial Eye Clan, along with Audrey, were all pulled by an invisible force, instantly drawn toward a rolling meteorite.

That meteorite darted like a shuttle through the spatial ripples, causing the figures of Adams, Evelyn, Marisha, and Audrey to gradually blur, as if they were about to vanish from that spot.

In contrast, Shi Yan remained motionless, his expression detached, coldness glinting in his eyes.

"That kid is indeed from the Desolate Domain; we encountered him en route," Yuan Mo explained.

"People from the Desolate Domain cannot be simple," the masked woman of the Phantom Race murmured softly. "The Desolate Domain is one of the most formidable Primordial Beings. Although it has been hidden for years, every expert who knows of it holds it in extremely high regard!"

As they spoke, their minds suddenly jolted. They looked at the void above the continent with expressions of sheer horror.

The meteorites, shattered stars, and jagged spatial blades hovering above Shi Yan seemed to have suddenly lost control. They plummeted from the sky with brutal force. The spatial blades, thousands of meters long, shone with a glaring white light—brilliant, flashing edges too sharp to withstand. If they sliced down, few here could endure the impact.

This was the inherent savage might of the Void Sea!

When this might was manipulated and sent crashing down, not only did its terrifying power diminish not one bit, but it was magnified by its precise targeting.

"Has he gone mad!" Yuan Mo shrieked in terror, scrambling to cry out, "Dodge! Get away from the kid’s madness!"

The masked woman of the Phantom Race was also trembling with fear. Watching the sharp blades descend from above, their arrival distorted by the spatial ripples that unsettled her mind, she cried out sharply, "What in the world is this fellow trying to do?"

Like them, the members of the surrounding second-rate and third-rate factions scattered like rats, shouting curses at Shi Yan’s entire lineage, wishing desperately for his death.

They all perceived it: the falling stones and shattered stars, the maneuvering, cutting spatial blades—all were responding to Shi Yan's command.

"Crack!"

A spatial blade thousands of meters long descended, slicing into the Dragon Lizard Continent. The land split open like sliced tofu, revealing a massive fissure from which scalding magma surged upward.

A world-shaking roar echoed from the depths of the earth—it was the furious bellow of the Dragon Lizard Ancestor’s true body!

The Dragon Lizard Ancestor's clone, engaged in battle with Singh, suddenly felt a sharp pain and glared furiously at Shi Yan, cursing, "What are you doing?"

Shi Yan paused, offering a sheepish, dry laugh and cupping his hands in apology: "A mistake, a mistake, please forgive me."

"He’s mad! Has he truly gone mad?" On a meteorite far from the Dragon Lizard Continent, Marisha stared down at the chaotic scene on the Dragon Lizard Star, clutching her hair in distress. "What is happening?"

"I don't understand either," Evelyn replied with a wry smile.

They all looked to Audrey, hoping for an explanation, but in response to their expectation, Audrey could only shake her head helplessly. "I don't know either. It seems he deliberately wants to throw the Dragon Lizard Continent into turmoil, wishing for more people here to die."

As she spoke, her mind suddenly paused, and a thoughtful expression crossed her features.
