Deep within the chaotic void currents, the God-Lord Brian and Ming Hao battled fiercely high above the Coiled Serpent (Hui).

Yet, the two seemed veiled by layers of illusion; everyone stared intently, but they could not clearly discern them. The God-Lord and Ming Hao appeared unreal, like reflections in water.

At this moment, no one noticed that unknowingly, Vidson's power had been completely drained, and he had fallen into the abyssal depths, vanishing from sight.

Nor did anyone observe that Shi Yan now seemed to flicker and shift, his shadow indistinct and dim, occasionally disappearing altogether.

And the Coiled Serpent, now free from the intense impact of Vidson's corrosive energy, reformed its bright yellow, horny defense, shielding its entire body as before. Its condition was clearly poor; its massive form writhed, trembling as if severely wounded.

In fact, this was precisely the case.

Too much vital essence had bled from its body. After being consumed by the corrosive force, all that energy had been absorbed by Shi Yan, transforming into nourishment that fueled Shi Yan’s life evolution.

Hiss-hiss-hiss!

Suddenly, large clusters of black smoke drifted off the Coiled Serpent, and an incredibly profound and enigmatic energy fluctuation erupted violently around it.

That energy was imperceptible to ordinary senses and invisible in its movement, existing in a state of stealth.

But Shi Yan saw it clearly!

The energy released by the Coiled Serpent agitated an unknown force omnipresent within the chaotic void currents, causing the void to appear as a deep, sinking vortex.

That vortex, vaguely discernible, hinted at instantaneous travel like a void passage, capable of directly relocating its enormous body away.

It intended to momentarily evade the confrontation!

“Eh!”

Suddenly, Dicarlo let out a soft exclamation. As a master of Spatial Profundity, though he could not sense the miraculous nature of the Coiled Serpent’s subtle fluctuation, he did detect the unusual shift in space. Astonished, he couldn't help but roar, “Something’s wrong!”

Upon these words, the powerful beings who had been solely focused on the fight between the God-Lord and Ming Hao suddenly snapped back to reality.

They all noticed that Vidson had vanished, and that the Coiled Serpent, now free from strong restraint, was attempting to escape.

How could this be allowed?

The powerful figures gathered from various star domains now regarded the Coiled Serpent as fatty meat on a platter. After working so hard for so long, each hoping to achieve their deepest desires through the Serpent, how could they permit it to slip away now?

With remarkable unspoken coordination, the powerful beings exchanged a glance and simultaneously launched their attacks. Various dazzling and magnificent Origin Worlds of profound principles materialized, enveloping the Serpent's massive body like layers upon layers of spider silk, binding it with dozens more restraints.

However, without the corrosive force of Vidson, their layered defenses could not inflict any real, heavy damage upon the Coiled Serpent.

With the Serpent fully committed to defense, it miraculously began to rapidly increase its strength once more, exhibiting terrifying life fluctuations.

Shi Yan observed closely, concentrating his mind.

He experienced an immensely profound sensation; his transformed divine sense unfolded, as if a Heavenly Eye had opened, allowing him to see the reality that others could not perceive!

In his vision, the Coiled Serpent was like an intense magnetic field, emitting waves of halo around itself, attracting all manner of bizarre energies from the outer void currents. These energies were invisible to the naked eye and extremely difficult for common divine sense to capture; only his transformed Sea of Consciousness, with its uniquely altered divine sense, could barely trace them.

The Coiled Serpent was absorbing the power of the chaotic void currents, thereby enhancing its own strength to break free from the restraints and dissolve the seals placed by everyone.

What horrified Shi Yan was the realization that perhaps no one could stop the Coiled Serpent now. The only one capable—Vidson—had perished due to the exhaustion of his life potential.

He was about to speak out a warning.

But at that very moment, a voice suddenly surged from his mind: Ziyao’s voice. “Do you truly wish for me to die?”

Ziyao’s figure was enchanting, appearing pitifully fragile, like a tiny dot flickering on the Coiled Serpent’s spine. This Ziyao was vastly different from before. Her eyes held deep, complex emotions—sentiments only possessed by the melancholic human spirit, rather than the icy indifference of before.

She looked toward Shi Yan with a gentle expression. “Shi Yan, I do not wish to harm you. I only wish to recover, and then return to the ‘Abyssal Void Sea.’ Among everyone here, you are the most unique. I hope you won't always be my enemy.”

Shi Yan was stunned.

He could no longer distinguish whether this Ziyao was her own consciousness or if she had been completely merged with the Coiled Serpent.

Unable to decide, he froze, frowning deeply, momentarily lost in thought.

He desperately wanted to believe this Ziyao was a fake, but for some unknown reason, the expression on her face, the tone of her voice, and the subtle details of her movements made Shi Yan vaguely feel that the Ziyao appearing at this moment possessed, at the very least, a part of Ziyao’s soul consciousness!

“Do you remember the first time I met you, when you were bound by the Ghost Alliance? Even then, I sensed you were extraordinary. Before we returned to Planet Ziyao, we were trapped in the Sunstar Shattering Field, pursued by Cato. We experienced so much together; I remember it all clearly…”

Ziyao gazed deeply at him, softly recounting the past, a hint of sorrow crossing her features. “I have awakened. I know that I am a wisp of its soul, a part of it—something it sent out to comprehend the mysteries of the desolate world. I know my situation is tragic, but I also know that if it truly ceases to exist, then I… will also disappear.”

Shi Yan stood frozen, looking at Ziyao from a distance, listening to her narrative in his mind, remaining silent for a long time.

Ultimately, he said nothing more.

Without his warning, it would be difficult for the others to realize the subtle changes occurring on the Coiled Serpent.

Shi Yan clearly saw a pinpoint of light flicker beneath the Serpent, followed by a swift, fleeting shadow that seemed to vanish into the Serpent's body.

Immediately, the deep affection on Ziyao’s face vanished, replaced by cold indifference. She averted her gaze from Shi Yan and focused on Xuan He and the God Clan members, her pupils filling with intense, chilling frost.

A sense of alarm instantly struck Shi Yan, his face changing drastically as his soul resonated with a strong sense of unease.

Boom-boom-boom!

The countless streaks of light within the chaotic void suddenly became turbulent and terrifying. Countless visible and invisible energies instantly turned frenzied, as if mountains were collapsing and stars exploding. Masses of fiery clouds rolled and wandered through the void.

Like countless blazing, massive eyeballs, they exuded a strange energy that pierced the soul. That energy was invisible to the naked eye but could be captured by the divine sense of those at the Immortal Realm.

“This! This is! This is that energy!” Xiaoyao shuddered violently and shrieked in terror.

Shenwu, Zizai, and Guangming were equally horrified, displaying deep fear, as if recalling scenes of immense terror, a chill creeping into their hearts.

“It is the power mastered by the Master!” Xuan He exclaimed sharply.

Feleite’s eyes shone. “Indeed, it is the power mastered by the Master! Ming Hao said the Master’s power originated from the Primordial Beings, that only Primordial Beings understood such power. It seems Ming Hao was right once again!”

Crack-crack-crack!

Before several elders of the God Clan Council could even scream, their physical bodies trembled, and their life magnetic fields suddenly vanished.

The vast majority of people didn't know what had happened; only those at the Immortal Realm could vaguely sense the profound mystery. But the one who saw everything clearly and understood the entire sequence of events was only one person.

That person was Shi Yan.

His transformed divine sense acted like a sharp Heavenly Eye, clearly discerning that the mysterious energy permeated outward, infiltrating the minds of those God Clan elders, directly destroying their Soul Altars, causing their main souls to collapse, resulting in their immediate demise.

Hiss-hiss-hiss!

Sticky, sinew-like tentacles shot out from the Coiled Serpent’s body, latching onto the corpses of the dead and violently dragging them toward its form.

The Coiled Serpent, unconstrained by Vidson's corrosive power and taking advantage of Shi Yan's distraction in failing to warn others, seemed to have completed some transformation, drawing a shadow into its body. Immediately afterward, its power surged dramatically. While still sealed, it unleashed its mysterious power, beginning its first large-scale counterattack.

Simultaneously, waves of indistinct whispers drifted from extremely far away.

Everyone’s expressions changed drastically. Even Xuan He and Dicarlo showed panic for the first time, their looks grave and uneasy.

“How could its eleven avatars arrive so quickly? This shouldn’t happen!” Xuan He looked at Dicarlo.

Dicarlo’s face was extremely grim, and he replied bitterly, “I don’t know either. It seems it suddenly experienced a massive power surge, which accelerated the speed at which its avatars could approach.”

As they spoke, in the vast chaotic void beyond the sight of anyone present, eleven giant worms, each larger than the Planet of Life, writhed their bodies, carrying life magnetic fields as vast as the ocean, all charging toward this location. They swam through the chaotic currents like massive ships navigating the sea, causing numerous void ripples, which in turn triggered huge explosions, making the chaotic void seem on the verge of complete collapse.

The powerful beings had an intuition; at this moment, they all felt a sense of impending catastrophic doom, instinctively unsettled.

Everyone looked up, subconsciously turning toward the God-Lord and Ming Hao, wanting to know how these two supreme experts of the world would decide at this critical juncture.

The next moment, everyone’s face changed—it became extremely unsightly.

Because the space above the Coiled Serpent had become blank. The God-Lord and Ming Hao had seemingly vanished into thin air; they were completely gone.

No one knew what had happened; they exchanged bewildered glances, all looking grim. Even Dicarlo frowned deeply, shaking his head under everyone’s gaze. “Don’t look at me. I don’t know what happened, nor do I know how they disappeared.”

After a pause, Dicarlo added, “But given their realm and status, if they sensed the profound mystery here, they should return soon. There’s no need to be overly anxious.”

He could not provide the answer.

But one person could.

“The world condensed by the God-Lord and Ming Hao, the space where they fought, was directly erased by the Coiled Serpent’s mysterious power,” Shi Yan suddenly spoke, pausing to ponder before frowning. “If I am not mistaken, the God-Lord and Ming Hao are likely already in the Abyssal Void Sea right now. Whether they can return in time is truly uncertain.”

At these words, everyone turned pale with terror and began to scream.
