Original Viderson charged forward, his momentum savagely fierce. He shifted his divine body through the void, instantly closing the distance to Shiyan.
A punch was thrown!
"BOOM!"
A sudden, swelling explosion roared across the starry gulf. The gravity field abruptly intensified thousands of times. The void around Shiyan seemed to collapse inward, causing him to momentarily freeze, plunging downward toward the dark abyss below.
The profound mystery Viderson practiced was exceptionally strange, revolving around various distinct Domain Fields. When he threw this punch, the magnetic field between heaven and earth appeared to go haywire, causing all forces to dissipate. Where his divine punch landed, it was as if an abyss had formed, threatening to pull everything into it.
Within that peculiar Domain Field, the energies of heaven and earth ceased to exist, and gravity surged instantly, raging like a tempest!
Shiyan understood that feeling profoundly, and his expression shifted instantly.
Long, long ago, back when he was still on the Divine Grace Continent, he had acquired a martial art called the "Magnetic Extermination Domain Field." After cultivating this art, he could gather the myriad forces within his body to form marvelous domain fields.
The more complex and mixed the forces, the more terrifying the resulting "Domain Field" became—like a violent storm zone where gravity was chaotic and spun madly, capable of eroding the entrant's power and soul, and shattering the physical body.
The chaotic "Domain Field" that spontaneously manifested around Viderson was the source of this familiarity for Shiyan.
This was the profound mystery Viderson practiced: a highly esoteric, rarely known special profound mystery. This mystery was subtle, bearing some resemblance to Catto’s Chaos Profound Mystery, yet distinctly different.
Catto’s Chaos Profound Mystery would disrupt everything, centering on himself to create a powerful suction force, drawing in cosmic dust, shattered stones, free-floating energy, and the pulverized remains of exploded corpses—all physical matter—causing these materials to spin furiously, crushing space, and dealing grievous harm to the enemy.
What Catto controlled were tangible objects, materially existing substances and stones.
Viderson’s Profound Mystery altered the magnetic field, creating a region akin to a vacuum. Within it, the magnetic field underwent massive changes, instantly generating immense power, churning the flesh and blood of any being trapped inside like a meat grinder.
He used intangible magnetic force as his core, condensing a magnetic field to tear apart everything it enveloped.
It was strikingly similar to the magnetic field Shiyan had once condensed using the "Magnetic Extermination Domain Field," perhaps even sharing the same origin of profound mystery.
This was one of the subtle things about Viderson that gave Shiyan a sense of familiarity. There was another!
In Viderson, he sensed a strange quality, as if Viderson held some connection to him...
This feeling was ethereal and profound, difficult to articulate. It was a sensation Shiyan had only faintly perceived when encountering the Sacred Beast Azure Dragon or seeing Ready.
"Roar!"
The terrifying magnetic field enveloped him. His altar vibrated violently. His divine body felt as if it were being sliced by invisible blades, threatening to tear him limb from limb.
Viderson was at the second level of the Primordial God realm. Anyone carelessly enveloped by his magnetic field would find it extremely difficult to escape and would be instantly shredded. Viderson was confident. Though he did not know Shiyan's true identity, he judged that Shiyan was also at the second level of the Primordial God realm, just like him.
His magnetic field was terrifying; it could even shred the Primordial Realm. A cruel sneer crossed his lips. "No matter who you are, once caught in my magnetic field, death is certain!"
Viderson was born of a mixed heritage between a Barbarian and a God Race powerhouse. His ability to secure a foothold in the Brekel family and command the (Submerged God Ship) was due to his peculiar profound mystery. Those who failed to grasp the subtlety of his mystery were often helpless against him and were killed before they could devise a countermeasure.
Soton, the patriarch of the Brekel family, suppressed the dissatisfaction of his kin and entrusted him with great responsibility precisely because he valued the wonder of his profound mystery.
Countless bloody battles and repeated victories had filled Viderson with absolute confidence in his profound mystery.
Over the years, in combat against martial artists of the same rank, once caught in his sudden magnetic field, almost no one could break free. Even if they did, they were usually stripped raw and gravely wounded.
His confidence was built upon a foundation of bloodshed.
"Certain death? Are you sure?" Within the magnetic field, Shiyan’s face was contorted, his appearance slightly grotesque and frightening. His eyes gradually turned scarlet, and his physical body withered.
"No matter who you are, you will die in this fight!" Viderson was brimming with assurance.
Not far away, the members of the Brekel family relaxed their expressions when they saw Shiyan's distorted form.
Although they internally disdained Viderson's lineage, they were all acutely aware of his power and knew how terrifying his unique "Magnetic Field" profound mystery was. Over the years, countless exceptionally talented martial artists met tragic ends once caught in Viderson's "Magnetic Field."
They naturally assumed Shiyan's fate would mirror those powerful figures who had perished under Viderson’s hand: his flesh shredded, his bones ground to dust.
"Confidence is good, but arrogance is not. The arrogant often cannot accept defeat. I hope you can."
Shiyan licked his lips. His eyes turned completely crimson. A baleful aura capable of shaking entire star domains burst forth from his entire body in the form of a visible blood mist, forming a layer of sanguine membrane that enveloped him. This blood membrane was saturated with despair, violence, terror, madness, resentment, and bloodlust, nurturing infinite, inherent evil.
At this moment, Shiyan, shrouded by that blood-colored membrane, seemed like the very source of all evil in the world, the root of all sin!
"Explode for me! Explode! Explode!"
Three shouts of "Explode!" erupted within the magnetic field like thunderous fury, the roar of a giant demon, the shriek of a denizen from the abyss.
"Crack! Crack! Crack!"
The magnetic field condensed by Viderson suddenly showed fissures and fractures, followed by cracks, and then it completely disintegrated.
Beams of magnetic force, like invisible sharp blades, shot outward violently. Many surrounding martial artists who failed to dodge found their divine bodies suddenly split apart and died on the spot.
Among them were members of the God Race and Benny’s subordinates. They were utterly incapable of resisting the magnetic impact and were instantly killed.
"Ssssh!"
Shiyan reached out and pulled, tearing through the field like ripping open a net, freeing himself from the "Domain Field." He shook his shoulders, and the blood-colored membrane covering his body instantly transformed into a strange, bloody mist, surging back toward Viderson, carrying with it the negative energies of despair, violence, resentment, and terror.
"Awooo!"
Viderson let out a roar that was almost inhuman. His mixed Barbarian and God Race body rapidly swelled, becoming broader and taller, gaining nearly a meter in height. Thick hair covered him, and his muscles piled up like stacked stones, radiating a violent, explosive strength, as if capable of unleashing endless brute force.
With his roar, a nearly invisible vapor emerged from his body. This vapor carried a terrible acrid scent, capable of corroding everything!
This was the acidic poison generated only within highly venomous demon bodies, like a poisonous miasma, similar to Ferlan’s Corrosion Profound Mystery, yet perhaps even more exquisite in its subtlety than Ferlan's current corrosion mastery. These invisible entities spread out, perfectly synchronizing with his magnetic field, aiming to dissolve all living beings.
Shiyan, who had secretly absorbed a massive surge of power using his Devouring Profound Mystery, now had his acupoints brimming with explosive energy, enabling him to shatter the Domain Field using the negative power stored within those points.
But now that Viderson was erupting again, the invisible corrosive poison mingled within the magnetic field made Shiyan shudder violently, his expression becoming gravely serious as never before.
In the next moment, he formed profound hand seals. The seals rippled outward like layers of water, revealing the subtlety of the Space Profound Mystery, forming layer upon layer of spatial barriers intended to trap Viderson’s magnetic field and prevent the invisible corrosive poison mingled within it from spreading.
He had a premonition: if he allowed that invisible corrosive poison to spread and saturate this abyss, neither the God Race nor his own people would survive.
Viderson was now utterly insane!
When Barbarian tribesmen rage, when they lose control, they transform into terrifying savage beasts, acting recklessly as if possessed!
This was the very aspect of Viderson that the God Race Brekel family most strongly rejected. In their view, once enraged and reckless, Viderson became an untamable savage beast. The Brekel family could never accept one of their own being treated as a wild animal.
And there was another point...
In many previous battles, Viderson had fought for the Brekel family, leading their kin against enemies.
In several of the most perilous confrontations, when Viderson went berserk, although he annihilated all enemies, every single Brekel family member fighting alongside him also died. In the eyes of the Brekel high command, those kin were accidentally killed by Viderson.
They could not forgive this.
Thus, in their hearts, Viderson was merely a savage beast—one that was difficult to control but immensely useful at critical moments.
This was Viderson’s perceived value to them.
In truth, those Brekel family members who had perished alongside Viderson in the most desperate battles were eliminated by the invisible corrosive poison emanating from Viderson's divine body when he went into a frenzy. This fact was known to no one, including Viderson himself, who remained perpetually confused.
Because when he went mad and unleashed that corrosive poison, he had no reason or awareness.
When he regained clarity, everything had already happened, becoming established fact.
Now, under the immense pressure from Shiyan, the moment his first "Domain Field" was shattered, Viderson suffered an internal backlash and instantly flew into a rage, activating his Barbarian blood.
The source of guilt from those several incidents of mass slaughter—that invisible corrosive poison—reappeared with the expansion of the magnetic field, raging across heaven and earth once more.
Even the layers of spatial barriers Shiyan constructed could not stop the corrosive poison; the ripples dissolved rapidly.
For the first time, Shiyan showed true horror.
His eyes moved with deep emotion as he watched the "Domain Field" relentlessly spread and expand. His expression shifted unpredictably. Suddenly, he held his breath, focusing all his energy on mobilizing the true essence of the Space Profound Mystery.
In an instant, in various locations throughout this perilous abyss, numerous marvelous tunnels materialized. These tunnels were dark and deep, appearing beside every person who had followed him.
He roared, "Enter the Space Bridge! Temporarily evade the sharp edge!"
His eyes blazed with dazzling light, fixed upon Viderson, the light constantly shifting.
His spirit surged profoundly. He finally knew what that familiar feeling emanating from Viderson truly was.
