Blood Anchor rubbed his eyes, seemingly unable to believe what he was seeing. He roared, tightened the chains behind his massive anchor once more, preparing to draw his weapon for another strike!

But Fang Senyan, having largely discerned Blood Anchor’s weakness, immediately let out a long cry. There was no way he would give him this chance now. Fang Senyan rushed toward him with a Bull Rush, bringing his blade down in a frenzy. A mournful cascade of blue light poured forth, looking as if it could cleave not just the man’s body but his very soul and vision in two!

However, Blood Anchor clearly understood the flaw in his long attack intervals, which made him vulnerable to exploitation. The very instant Fang Senyan’s blade descended, two trusted subordinates rushed out from the pirates arrayed behind Blood Anchor. As these two rushed forward, they inhaled deeply; their entire bulk suddenly swelled by a third.

Facing Fang Senyan’s terrible slash, these two confidants roared. Their tattered clothes seemed ready to burst as their muscles suddenly ballooned, and they swung their heavy, dark double-bladed axes to parry Fang Senyan’s blow!

Shrapnel of steel mixed with sea spray! And the scalding blood of men!!!

Critical Hit!

Though Fang Senyan’s weapon was not of the highest grade, it was still a powerful artifact recognized by the Void, and it was reinforced to +7.

These two pirates, however, held only common weapons!

The difference in quality was immediately apparent.

One of the pirate confidants let out a piercing shriek. In the next second, his entire body tilted sideways as he collapsed, vomiting a torrent of blood and viscera. Fang Senyan’s slash had not only cleaved through his double-bladed axe but had cut him clean in half at the waist!!!

The other confidant’s axe was not severed, but his eyes went vacant, standing stiffly in place, his posture frozen in the act of blocking Fang Senyan’s strike. When someone nudged him, he immediately slumped down like a pile of wet mud.

Fang Senyan’s forty-nine points of Strength were an insurmountable height for him. The enormous recoil force from the double-bladed axe was tremendous; it first shattered both of the pirate’s arm bones, and the residual momentum continued to vibrate through him until he was shaken to death right where he stood!

Of course, these two pirate confidants had already endured harsh fighting and were not at full health, which was a major factor in their instant annihilation. If they had been in peak condition, Fang Senyan could not have achieved such a decisive result!

However, Fang Senyan’s Agility also exceeded forty points, granting him considerable movement speed. After his first strike was parried, he immediately executed a forward roll and kept relentlessly pursuing Blood Anchor, following up with another horizontal slash!

The power of this second strike was also terrifying. Deep blue light shimmered, tracing the fleeing Blood Anchor and cleanly slicing the entire nearby cabin in half, splitting it into two massive sections that flew ten meters high before crashing into the sea with loud splashes. The spray soaked the surrounding pirates completely.

But these men stood with their mouths agape, daring not to make a sound, as if breathing too loudly would invite the blade’s ferocious pursuit!

Blood Anchor, meanwhile, had long abandoned his weapon and fled for his life. He gasped for air, his eyes filled with sheer terror and despair. It had to be said that the more vicious a person’s nature, the more they treasured their own life. Because they so often spread death, they understood the horror of it most profoundly.

The fact that Fang Senyan had withstood his anchor strike head-on without dying had immediately made Blood Anchor feel that things were grim. When Fang Senyan instantly charged, and the blade was slicing toward his face, the brutal pirate felt an overwhelming threat of death and immediately turned to flee.

But Fang Senyan, intending to establish dominance, pursued even faster. With a vertical slash, a streak of red light flashed across Blood Anchor’s back, tearing a long gash. He let out a drawn-out scream, pulling a dagger from his waist and thrusting it wildly.

Fang Senyan blocked it with the flat of his long blade. Amidst a spray of sparks, Blood Anchor actually managed to stab Fang Senyan hard enough to force him back two or three steps. This made Fang Senyan certain that this brute’s Strength was indeed higher than his own.

Yet, this was strange. When he had previously checked Blood Anchor's data, his Strength was clearly listed as only thirty-three points. Fang Senyan now solidified his judgment: the only explanation was that the man possessed extremely potent equipment enhancements!

Although Blood Anchor’s Strength surpassed Fang Senyan’s, his Agility and Defense were pitifully low. If it weren't for a unique ability—Boatswain’s Ward—which added several thousand points to his Health, he would have been no different from an ordinary pirate. This monstrous build was like a character relying on only three tricks; once those were countered, he had no choice but to flee in disarray.

Faced with this situation, Blood Anchor’s remaining pirates had completely lost their will to fight. They had witnessed their idol being hunted down like a disgraced dog by Fang Senyan, and such a morale-crushing sight extinguished any desire to resist.

The fierce fighting continued for a while longer. Blood Anchor was already covered in wounds. Suddenly, Fang Senyan dodged a retaliatory thrust from Blood Anchor, dragging his long blade across. With a flash of red light, Blood Anchor’s left hand was severed by a single strike! It spun in an arc through the gloomy wind, splashing down into the water below, creating only a small ripple.

Blood spurting wildly, Blood Anchor fell to his knees, clutching the stump of his severed arm and screaming in agony. Fang Senyan abruptly raised his long blade high, then swung it down diagonally with a "whoosh," cutting through the air like a flash of lightning so bright it stung the eyes.

This strike slid effortlessly through the leather armor Blood Anchor wore, then into his flesh, ultimately splitting his entire body in two! The momentum did not even cease, trailing a three-meter-long ribbon of light, a radiance that seemed capable of tearing the very vision apart in an instant!

Amidst the bloody mess, Blood Anchor could be seen split diagonally from head to foot, falling apart on the deck. Those nearby, seeing the stark white cross-section of bone contrasting with the bright red flesh, felt an overwhelming sense of horror!

With Blood Anchor dead, the remaining pirates immediately fell silent, utterly demoralized, and were swiftly brought into custody. However, the key Blood Anchor dropped was quite peculiar; it was just a single deep blue key, which, when opened, yielded only junk loot.

Fang Senyan pondered for a moment, then walked over to Blood Anchor’s bisected corpse and began examining it closely. As he searched with intense focus, he finally noticed a faint, almost imperceptible black glow emanating from the body. This light came from the pair of gloves Blood Anchor was wearing. Fang Senyan pulled the gloves off, which triggered a series of notifications:

Ogre Hide Gauntlets (Pair) Origin: Unknown Equipment Property: Special Plot Equipment (Only usable by Plot Characters; cannot be carried out of this world.) Equipment Rarity: Black Material: Ogre leather, tanned with strong soapy water, possessing astonishing brute strength. Attachable Augments: None Effect: Grants the wearer a special bonus of +2 Strength. However, this bonus is only actually applied and will not display on the data panel in most situations. Equip Slot: Hands (Can coexist with weapons) Description: These leather gloves are made from the skin of the soles of female ogres, making them incredibly durable and granting immense strength. Warning: Normally, very few ordinary people can withstand the immense power of these gauntlets. Therefore, they will cause a weakness in some aspect of the owner, and if the owner exerts strength beyond their tolerance limit, they often suffer a severe backlash. Note: Alternatively, if you feel this Special Plot Equipment is not powerful enough, you may sell it to the Void in exchange for a large amount of Universal Points or Potential Points (you may choose only one of the two currencies).

Looking at the item, everyone understood the fundamental reason why Reef had been blasted away by that unbelievably massive anchor—it was this piece of Special Plot Equipment causing the trouble! The discovery that such powerful Special Plot Equipment was a privilege granted by the title 'Pirate Captain' meant that no one else—including Plot Characters—could perceive it.

Using his current Lieutenant privilege, Fang Senyan inquired about the selling price of the Ogre Hide Gauntlets, which was listed at 1,000 Universal Points. The resulting notification was: Due to your current rank in the Void being too low, selling this item will only yield 2,000 Universal Points or 2 Potential Points—even though its actual value far exceeds this amount.

2,000 Universal Points or 2 Potential Points. Fang Senyan found selling it somewhat unappealing. However, the power of this Special Plot Equipment was significant. Handing it over carelessly to anyone who wasn't absolutely loyal risked major hidden dangers.

Although most of Sivaller’s pirate subordinates had chosen to surrender, a few die-hards remained. Surrounded by heavy containment, the captain of Blood Anchor’s ship, Jett, stood with his five confidants, roaring threats that Lord Sivaller would certainly avenge them.

Unfortunately, Fang Senyan maliciously dispatched the surrendered British sailors to surround them... If these sailors felt any psychological pressure fighting their former comrades, then eliminating these pirates was as straightforward and righteous as the police catching petty thieves.

However, just as Jett and his men were about to be cut down by the masses, Fang Senyan slowly stood up and pointed toward Camby beside him:

“Camby, you go. Take the men and finish Jett and his lot. Bring Jett’s head back to me.”
