Rays of dazzling white light spread outwards in concentric circles around the Blood Pool; with every flash, another group of people departed the Demon Blood Star.
Under Shi Yan's arrangements, the citizens of Divine Province City vanished one by one, utilizing the formation. Many familiar faces from his past reappeared after many years.
He stood perpetually beside the Blood Pool.
The leaders of the various factions—Blood Demon, Fu Wei, Feng Han, Lin Xin—remained silently near the formation, their expressions complex.
The Yang and Shi families were held back, not among the first to leave. Yang Qingdi stood shoulder-to-shoulder with Blood Demon, the two quietly exchanging insights.
Before long, the vast majority of Divine Province City's citizens had disappeared, leaving only the members of the Yang and Shi clans still standing.
Yang Qingdi looked toward Shi Yan.
He smiled faintly, explaining, "Don't bother returning to Divine Province City. Head to Undying Island instead. The spiritual energy in that ocean region will soon match that of the Divine Province mainland."
Yang Qingdi and Shi Jian were deeply moved, visible joy dawning on their faces.
"What about me? What excellent place have you found for me?" Blood Demon roared with laughter, flashing a grin.
"The Boundless Sea as well," Shi Yan squinted, "Since you’re family, everyone goes to the Boundless Sea. The islands there will soon become the most prized territories on the continent."
Having merged with the origin of the Ancient Continent, he naturally knew that the Heavenly Demon Mountain Range in the Boundless Sea was the sacred land of the Heavenly Demon Race—a domain of profound mystery. The many Heavenly Demons of that race had joined forces long ago to forcibly reshape the world’s structure, apparently implementing some novel layout within it.
He had long sensed the spiritual saturation of the Boundless Sea's islands gradually surpassing that of the Divine Province mainland. It was destined to become the continent’s most brilliant and flourishing center.
He certainly had selfish motives; the best things should naturally be reserved for his own kin. That was why the Yang and Shi families were held back—they would continue to reign supreme over the Boundless Sea.
Fu Wei, Feng Han, and Lin Xin listened from the sidelines, their expressions peculiar, riddled with unanswered questions.
"Shi Yan. Is the Demon Blood Star not good enough? Why must we migrate away?" Ji Lan voiced the sentiment on everyone’s mind. "If the Demon Blood Star lacked energy, why travel across star domains just to get here in the first place?"
The others all turned to him.
Li Anna, Feilan, Katuo, Fu Wei, Zi Yao, and the rest were among them.
Only those holding noble status or possessing an unbreakable bond with Shi Yan were permitted in this immediate vicinity, qualifying them to hear such confidential discourse.
Shi Yan pondered for a moment, realizing that the affairs of the Ancient Continent were no secret in other star domains; they would eventually find out anyway. He decided to conceal nothing further. "Come with me and see this place for yourselves."
Everyone’s eyes brightened, and they nodded in agreement.
"Katuo, make a trip to the Giant Race. Summon Zhen Gu and Na Xin. The Giant Race showed us great kindness back then; we cannot treat them poorly."
"Senior Feilan, summon those who came from the Blazing Flame Star Domain, like Kaxiu’en. Also, bring those we are closely connected with, such as the Marauders from the Land of Divine Punishment. As for those original members of the (You Meng/Phantom Alliance), let them be."
Shi Yan deliberated before issuing these commands.
Katuo and Feilan departed immediately.
Feng Rao’s exquisitely lovely face lit up with pleasure. She moved inwardly; being exceptionally intelligent, she had already deduced that this matter was monumentally significant, and those invited likely stood to gain immense fortune.
Most of the Marauders from the Land of Divine Punishment belonged to her father’s lineage, now gathered under his command on the Demon Blood Star. Shi Yan’s instruction to Feilan to summon them was clearly a nod to her.
Upon hearing Kaxiu’en mentioned, Zi Yao also curved her lips into a smile, her beautiful eyes shimmering as she glanced at him.
Shortly thereafter, Na Xin and Zhen Gu of the Giant Race arrived, resembling twin mountains of flesh. Na Xin was on the cusp of the Prime God realm, while Zhen Gu had reached the second heaven of the Void God realm, his divine body gleaming with the crystalline luster of jade, surging blood energy trembling within.
"Little Shi Yan, why did you call us over? Haha, our Giant Race is quite content with life on the Demon Blood Star and aren't eager to leave so easily," Na Xin chuckled.
The Giants were indeed satisfied with their current existence. The Demon Blood Star possessed abundant spiritual energy and was under the formidable rule of the Demon Race in the Maya Star Domain, meaning few dared provoke them. The Giants had been allocated their own territory, and the younger members of the race were seeing rapid advancements in their cultivation.
Both Na Xin and Zhen Gu were thoroughly enjoying their current lives. Hearing Katuo subtly mention Shi Yan’s intention to relocate them caused a slight reluctance in their hearts.
"You can decide later," Shi Yan smiled, offering no immediate explanation.
A while later, Feng Ke and those warriors from the Blazing Flame Star Domain, including Kaxiu’en, also arrived one by one.
"Uncle," Zi Yao chirped sweetly, greeting Feng Ke.
Kaxiu’en bowed elegantly, reassuringly saying, "Princess, your grace surpasses your former self. Escaping the Blazing Flame Star Domain was indeed the most correct decision; coming to the Maya Star Domain has been our great fortune."
He then looked at Shi Yan and chuckled lightly, "You’ve changed so much. Every time I see you, I am shocked anew."
Feng Ke and several leaders of the Marauders from the Land of Divine Punishment appeared somewhat constrained. Standing before powerhouses famous throughout the Maya Star Domain like Blood Demon, Fu Wei, and Feng Han, they struggled to stand tall, clearly uncomfortable.
At this moment, Feng Rao proactively stepped forward and spoke softly, "Father, don't worry. It must be something good; the fortune granted to those invited is always exceptional..."
Feng Ke was slightly relieved, nodding with a smile, then looked at Shi Yan with a face full of emotion.
He was well aware of his daughter’s relationship with Shi Yan and knew Shi Yan had excellent connections with women. At times, he felt a sting of unfairness for his daughter, but most of the time, he was deeply gratified because his daughter’s choices had been correct, and her foresight outstanding.
Thanks to his daughter's accurate judgment, they, who once had to eke out a precarious existence in the Land of Divine Punishment, could now reside in a high-level star domain and survive on the Demon Blood Star.
Compared to the Maya Star Domain, the overall level of warriors in the Blazing Flame Star Domain was a whole tier lower. Their arrival here felt like country folk entering a metropolis. They knew that everything they had achieved today was due to their daughter’s decision, and Shi Yan’s benevolence.
"Everyone who needs to be here has arrived. Let's go," Shi Yan swept his gaze over the assembled group and stepped into the center of the formation.
The others followed suit, entering one after another.
Circles of brilliant, dazzling light flashed, and they vanished. The next instant, they materialized on Undying Island in the Boundless Sea.
There existed a formation here that Shi Yan had set up long ago. He had slightly repaired and modified it before coming to the Demon Blood Star, turning it into a cross-domain teleportation array.
They now stood within that formation on Undying Island.
"Hmph!"
Yang Qingdi's eyebrows shot up, and he let out a sharp exclamation, his expression shifting dramatically.
The members of the Yang and Shi families all showed looks of astonishment and confusion.
Years ago, the Boundless Sea had suffered a joint invasion by the Demon Race and the Nether Race. Many islands were ravaged, mountains collapsed, and lakes dried up. When they had left the Boundless Sea that year, the energy of the Divine Grace Continent was not yet at its final collapse, yet the spiritual energy was already sparse.
But now, this island of Undying Island was covered in many strange trees, numerous mountains were verdant and lush, the lakes were crystal clear, teeming with fat, spiritually-infused fish. Every valley was carpeted with blossoming flowers, many of which were rare species that few areas in the Maya Star Domain could nurture.
Wisps of milky-white smoke, like faint mist, coiled around the island. Numerous rare birds sang in the forests. Auspicious clouds dotted the sky, and spiritual fog enveloped the island—a scene resembling a beautiful immortal realm.
Blood Demon, Fu Wei, Feng Han, and the others stiffened momentarily, then released their souls to scan their surroundings.
Before long, Feng Han revealed an expression of awe. "The heavenly spiritual energy here is incredibly dense, and many herbs are rare varieties. Nearby, there are mines containing Divine Crystal veins. You... you actually abandoned this place?"
He could not comprehend it.
"That's not right!" Na Xin, having visited the Boundless Sea before, frowned. "It's completely different! It’s like two different worlds compared to last time!"
"If the spiritual energy had even one-third of what it has now when we left, would we truly have been willing to go?" Yang Qingdi sighed softly.
Hearing what Na Xin and Yang Qingdi said, everyone turned their gazes to Shi Yan, naturally sensing an underlying truth.
Under their collective scrutiny, Shi Yan spoke gravely, "The ambient energy here, even now, cannot compare to the Demon Blood Star. However, within a hundred years at most, it will completely surpass the Demon Blood Star. After a thousand years, the spiritual energy here will be the densest in the universe—a blessed land perfectly suited for warriors to temper their bodies, comprehend profound mysteries, and enhance their divine power. In the future... this continent will be a place of cosmic wonder."
At these words, everyone recoiled in shock, their faces displaying profound awe.
"Indeed, for the next ten thousand years, this continent will be the center of the universe," a voice suddenly resonated. Initially sounding as if from beyond the celestial pole, it instantly appeared on Undying Island, materializing before everyone.
Blood Demon, at the third heaven of the Prime God realm, felt his mind violently shake upon seeing this figure appear, revealing an expression of terrified disbelief. He roared, "You, your realm?"
"Allow me to introduce myself. I was born on this continent and have lived here since the Primordial Era. I am a member of the Heavenly Demon Race." The Azure Dragon smiled slightly, looking toward Shi Yan. "Descendant of the Bloodthirsty lineage, I finally meet you. I must convey the gratitude of all Heavenly Demon Race members."
"You are?" Shi Yan’s heart trembled violently. In this person's presence, he felt the sensation of gazing up at the stars, realizing his own utter insignificance.
After breaking through to the Prime God realm, he could remain composed facing Blood Demon. Yet, upon this person's arrival, a fierce sense of crisis erupted, as if this being could annihilate him at any moment. This feeling... made him acutely uneasy, every second filled with disquiet.
This was an unprecedented sensation!
"I am the current Patriarch of the Heavenly Demon Race; my name is Azure Dragon," he introduced himself with a smile.
Shi Yan’s face turned ashen, stunned into silence for a long moment before taking a deep breath and bowing with a wry smile, "For you, venerable elder, to have lived until now—I truly have met an ancient fiend."
The Azure Dragon laughed heartily, "You will certainly achieve the Immortal Realm. Once you step into Immortality, you too can live as long as I have."
At these words, Fu Wei, Feng Han, Na Xin, Li Anna, Lin Xin, and everyone else present froze completely.
The Immortal Realm—a realm existing only in legend. Even the Maya Star Domain, a high-tier star domain, had not birthed a single powerhouse of this caliber in tens of thousands of years.
Such beings existed only in the enduring myth passed down through generations—they were only rumored to exist, yet no one had ever seen one personally.
And today, they finally beheld one.
Immortal!
