While these vicious and sinister monkeys, once they employed their specialized tactics, could often strike down even high-ranking beings, there was a crucial element to the combat style of the Bedami Ghost Monkey: absolute stealth and suddenness were paramount! However, their initial infiltration went disastrously wrong; they were detected by the fire control system ahead of time and immediately met with a ferocious barrage of strikes. Their ambush had turned into a counter-ambush.

Then came the devastating, chain-lightning-like spear thrust from the Black Brother, causing immediate casualties. By the time Jiao Shi let out a heart-wrenching roar, almost everything was cleared out, save for that one "Bloodied Throat."

Fang Senyan observed the creature's strength level at 29 points and figured he couldn't achieve a truly crushing blow, so he decisively hurled a potion that reduced agility. A 4-point drop in agility wasn't massive, but the 10% reduction ratio was certainly substantial.

The heavy price of seeing his underlings wiped out instantly was clearly something the "Bloodied Throat" found unbearable. Thus, upon arrival, it roared maniacally, directly commanding the Slinger to charge forward. Yet, it was also clear the monkey hadn't entirely lost its mind; it huddled on the Slinger's back, using its mount as much as possible to absorb the bullets pouring down from Mogansha.

Because its charge was so swift, the blood flowing from the wounded Slinger didn't even have time to reach the ground before being carried forward by momentum, trailing like a crimson mist surrounding the disgusting yet powerful monkey, interspersed with threads of silent black.

Facing such a fast enemy, Mogansha frowned slightly, pulled the trigger, and loosed three scorching bullets that collided and exploded mid-air! This created a searing area-of-effect attack. Upon contact with this fiery explosion, the blood dripping from both the Slinger and the Bedami Ghost Monkey b suddenly mutated, igniting with a resonant boom!

The flames themselves manifested a blood-red hue, undulating and leaping with a supple, lingering quality, as if it were the tongue of a bloodthirsty beast constantly licking at the spilled gore, saturated with cruelty and brutality!

In the very next second, before Mogansha could even react, he was violently smashed down from his hidden perch in the tree. He grunted, rolled upon landing, and realized a long, dark wound had been gouged into his chest. The injury was already rapidly rotting, emitting a noxious stench.

Fortunately, in that instant, Fang Senyan, hidden in the camp, though one leg was crippled, could still raise the "N'ai Li Gun" to aim and fire! The reason Jiao Shi hadn't immediately unleashed "Daring" to save him was twofold: partly confidence in Mogansha, and primarily the need to stand ready to support the mobility-impaired Fang Senyan.

A razor-sharp bullet spun through the air, creating visible ripples in its trajectory. Midway, it snapped a branch, pierced a leaf, and accurately buried itself in the elite Slinger's rear leg, easily penetrating the unprotected thigh bone before bursting out with a pop and plunging into the Bedami Ghost Monkey b's own calf!

Two birds with one stone!

With this shot fired, the elite Slinger, just about to give chase, suddenly buckled in its hind leg, bending at an unnatural angle. Simultaneously, the Bedami Ghost Monkey b, wildly swinging its claws in excitement, suddenly lost its balance as its mount suffered a crippling blow, nearly sending it sprawling face-first.

Only then did the Bedami Ghost Monkey b feel the pain in its calf, blood spraying out cheerfully. The Slinger, tormented by intense agony, shrieked piercingly and abandoned its master, fleeing into the jungle.

From a distance, Fang Senyan held his rifle with both hands, kneeling on one knee, squinting with one eye, his hand steady as bedrock—this shot was his doing! Seeing the successful hit, he couldn't help but clench his fist in self-encouragement.

The Black Brother landed and rolled to maintain balance. Perhaps touching the wound on his chest made him grimace in pain, but he still managed to give Fang Senyan a thumbs-up. Meanwhile, two pale-blue Corpse Soul Vipers lunged out from behind Mogansha in a ferocious charge, baring their teeth with savage snarls, pouncing towards the enemy.

These two Corpse Soul Vipers were summoned by Mogansha upon triggering the probability when he threw the Spartan Broken Spear. His thrown javelin had seemingly leaped between enemies like chain lightning; perhaps luck was on his side, as he managed to summon both creatures simultaneously.

The suddenly injured "Bloodied Throat" erupted in fury. It let out a sharp scream, its mouth opening impossibly wide, revealing the churning lymph nodes deep in its throat, before commencing a continuous torrent of yellowish-green vomit that traveled over twenty meters! Fang Senyan, knowing retaliation was certain after his shot, didn't hesitate, fleeing desperately.

The steaming vomit drenched the "N'ai Li Gun" Fang Senyan had dropped! The corrosive nature of the vomit was extreme; the metal surface immediately steamed with vast clouds of acid mist, filling the air with a nauseating, pungent stink. Unfortunately, the precious gun, obtained at considerable cost, was ruined.

Jiao Shi suddenly frowned: "We need to finish this quickly. That vomit it sprays might not just injure; it could be used to signal for reinforcements."

As the words left his mouth, the agile monkey lunged at Jiao Shi, screeching as it tried to claw down at his head. Fortunately, Jiao Shi's reaction time was not inferior; he blocked the strike with his shield. Even so, the claw scraped against the alien skull with an unpleasant sound, sparking dazzling flashes of fire!

In that instant, Jiao Shi activated the special effect embedded in his shield: Tongue Sting! A bizarre, sharp tongue shot out from the mouth of the alien skull with a swish, its tip armed with sharp fangs. It latched onto the monkey's chest, inflicting damage while simultaneously inducing a stun effect.

At this moment, Mogansha had drawn his Hornet Pistol, knelt on one knee, and aimed. He activated Beast Instinct, letting his powerful combat intuition select the optimal attack vector! In that fleeting moment, Mogansha felt an intense pain in his head, an indescribable burning sensation, as if his mental energy was being drained away.

Then, every bullet in the Hornet Pistol's cylinder was fired without mercy into the stinking, filthy monkey before him. They collided within the creature, resulting in a violent chain explosion! Flames erupted, accompanied by the sickening stench of being instantly scorched. Jiao Shi heard Mogansha shout a warning—"Watch out!"—and to avoid friendly fire, he kicked the monkey violently away just before Mogansha fired.

A series of booming explosions echoed. The monkey, blasted into the air, was completely enveloped in smoke and fire. Even after landing, it couldn't regain its balance, collapsing despite desperate attempts to stand. Its body was scorched an angry red, and its internal organs were visible as it coughed up greenish-blue mucus; it was clearly gravely wounded.

The destructive force of this blast didn't appear overwhelming, but Fang Lin clearly sensed that the power was merely highly concentrated, resulting in little outward collateral damage, not that the explosive force was weak. At the center of the blast, where the wounds were, not only was the blood completely vaporized, but the muscle tissue looked as if it had been violently ground down. Remnants of fire clung to its abdomen, sizzling audibly!

Clearly, Mogansha's strike had inflicted severe damage. However, a black shadow darted in from the side like a flash—it was its elite Slinger mount!

The creature had broken a leg and fled, yet it had doubled back to rescue its master. Even more bizarre was that the Slinger's speed was usually a weakness, excelling only in tracking. Yet this elite Slinger was astonishingly fast, even with a broken leg.

"Chase!" Fang Senyan commanded immediately. Despite his own leg injury, he hobbled after them, leaning on a wooden staff.

Mogansha and Jiao Shi were unwilling to give up either, pursuing fiercely. The prey was severely wounded; vigorous running would only accelerate the worsening of its injuries! The monkey’s pervasive stench served as the best tracking clue. Soon, following the sound of hurried footsteps fading away, the dense forest, after the brief chaotic disturbance, returned to silence.

Blood continued to drip, Flowing past the shredded flesh of the window, Flowing past the matted fur, Flowing through the air of Pandora, Finally dripping onto the ground. Looking back, one could see scattered droplets of blood connected into a crooked, thin line, like a signpost marking the trail taken.

A Slinger, now with only five legs, hunched its back, staggering and leaping unevenly up the steep slope.

The monkey on its back coughed violently from time to time, a racking, endless hack that, for it, served only to quicken the flow of its own blood.
