The function of the Wormhole is to facilitate rapid troop transfer between distant Zerg bases! Like a pair of instant doors, regardless of how complex the terrain, transferring troops between two Wormholes allows them to traverse the distance of time and space in just a few seconds at most. Of course, because Planet Pandora and the planet inhabited by the Black Spine Cerebrate are so far apart, constructing the Wormhole takes longer. Furthermore, the cooldown time for Wormhole transmission is also quite extended.

The principle behind this technology utilizes the folding technique of space and time... ~~Imagine a piece of paper where point A is twenty centimeters from point B. The shortest distance between them is not drawing a straight line between them, but rather folding the paper so that point A and point B directly coincide, creating a zero-distance conduit—that is the Mo-key Theory of the Wormhole!

This structure, requiring an extremely high degree of evolution, can only be built once the Zerg Hive and Cerebrates have both advanced to Level Omega (L). Based on Fang Senyan’s initial estimation, it was only a matter of time before the Black Spine Cerebrate secured that high-energy Pandora minefield and advanced. Therefore, gifting the Zerg base he constructed to the Black Spine Cerebrate, enabling it to take command and support him via the Wormhole, was Fang Senyan’s final trump card.

However, regardless of whether Fang Senyan's deduction was right or wrong, at worst, he would merely fail to obtain the Golden Side Quest; escaping and preserving his life would still be unproblematic.

It is worth noting that Wormholes can actually be built upon Allied Creep, but if Fang Senyan did not gift the base to the Black Spine Cerebrate, it probably wouldn't have selflessly sacrificed its reserves to support him.

The first batch of units to pass through the Wormhole were the Zerg's most mobile combat creatures: the Spore Roaches! They dove straight toward the Vipers and Wolves before them. For the Vipers and Wolves, which possessed no anti-air capability, there was absolutely no way to retaliate against the airborne Spore Roaches!

The Stalkers, pouring through the Wormhole sequentially, formed a neat line, rapidly reaching the few critical entry points surrounding the current small Zerg base. Then, using their eight sharp, long legs, they quickly dug into the soil, burying themselves underground in mere seconds! The number of these Stalkers was at least a hundred strong!

Although the attack power of the nearly one hundred Spore Roaches that first passed through the Wormhole onto Planet Pandora was immense, the sheer number of Vipers and Wolves charging in from a distance was equally staggering: the width of the attacking wave alone spanned nearly five to six hundred meters, and the length seemed endless. What kind of concept was such a horde of Vipers and Wolves?? Faced with such massive numbers, the Spore Roaches' attacks were like throwing cups of water into a burning cart!

Immediately, it became clear that the dense, black tide of beasts surged forward like a long river, then leaped directly down the edge of the sinkhole formed after the magnetic storm. Blocked by the Pandora Crystal clusters, they split into three dense, black tributaries advancing toward the Ahn Clan’s base... ~~Despite the Zerg's organic structures being fearsome and massive, before this boundless sea of beasts, they appeared as fragile as a candle flame in a strong wind.

Yet, on the three obligatory paths leading to the Zerg base, at least a hundred Stalkers were densely buried!

Then, the three incredibly numerous beast tides abruptly crashed headlong into the attack range of the buried Stalkers!

The air suddenly filled with a sound like crunching metal. The leading segment of the beast tide, charging fiercely, abruptly and violently exploded! It scattered into chunks of flesh and plumes of flying green mucus! Those chunks and bodily fluids splashed onto the ground, melting rapidly as if butter tossed onto a hot pan, and within seconds, they were greedily and hungrily digested by the Creep!

The organic matter content in the area left behind by the magnetic storm was astonishingly low, which had previously prevented the Creep range of this Zerg base from expanding. Now, with this influx of deceased flesh and blood, the thirsty Creep immediately mobilized with full force, violently extending outward.

Despite the Vipers and Wolves charging forward with reckless abandon, if one looked closely, one could see rows upon rows of sharp, gigantic spikes emerging menacingly from the ground, stabbing toward them like waves! Wherever they passed, blood and gore stained the earth. Any creature caught within the range of those giant spikes suffered terrifying damage. Even more frustrating for them was the fact that the enemy was hiding underground, covered by the soft earth, making it impossible for the Vipers and Wolves to locate any opponent!!

That terrifyingly surging tide of Vipers and Wolves seemed to have struck an invisible barrier. Although their objective was less than a hundred meters ahead, this invisible barrier acted like a flesh-grinding mill, stubbornly blocking their sudden rush. They were held back by an endless barrage of cold attacks against their desperate charge.

At this moment, the Wormhole stopped disgorging Stalkers. A dozen or so leader-level Zerglings, massive enough to resemble calves, bolted out, but stopped about twenty meters outside the Wormhole entrance, forming a fan shape, standing guard alertly.

The next second, a huge, heavily armored insect giant struggled out of the Wormhole, flapping its wings with effort! Its enormous abdomen and thick, inverted-jointed legs landed on the ground with six violent tremors. Its external shell shimmered with crystal-clear, diamond-like refraction prisms.

The instant this armored giant appeared, it was clear that all Zerg creatures seemed energized as if they had been injected with stimulants, their combat and production efficiency increasing by at least ten percent! The creature propped itself up on its hind legs, lifted its head, took a deep breath, and then emitted a psychic shockwave of contemplation: "What fresh, pleasant asphyxiation! What beautiful crystal clusters! The ore content is a bit low, but the reserves are enough for a full year of extraction! From the first moment I stepped onto the soil here, I realized I had fallen deeply in love with it!!"

Fang Senyan, naturally, was no longer at the edge of the sinkhole; he had already retreated into the Zerg base. He shouted toward the fat creature, "Hey! My friend, you should lose some weight. And, you should breathe less of this fresh air; at least for humans, it’s fatal. You must cherish your life, because I have invested all my hope and fortune in you."

The Black Spine Cerebrate roared from its thorax: "Aha! Thank you for the reminder, but I assure you, my body has never been this healthy! Look at these beautiful crystal trees, ah ah!!! This is a spectacle I have never witnessed! My partner, Deep Palace, can you feel the richness here? I am already impatient to move the Mother Hive over."

Fang Senyan shrugged, "I forgot that you are a race strong enough for direct interstellar flight. Such toxic gas can certainly be considered nourishment for you. Also, do not be careless. I must remind you that this is only the first wave of attacks from the native creatures. The power of the subsequent raiding creatures might be beyond your expectation. So, you must be ready to retreat at any time."

"Retreat?" The Black Spine Cerebrate suddenly roared, its voice rising, "Ugh! No, that is absolutely impossible. Do I have to go back and face that nearly depleted, barren mine vein? Do I have to face the Queen’s oppression directly? No!!! My friend, you haven't deceived me; there is no trace of the Queen on this planet. This is a rich planet where no Zerg exists, and this will be the rise of the Black Spine Clan! I would rather die fighting here than return to be someone else's slave."

Fang Senyan was quite satisfied with the Black Spine Cerebrate's response. He was beginning to feel the Golden Side Quest loading bar nearing completion and beckoning him. So, he immediately grew serious: "In about half an hour, the native air force will arrive. These are terrifying flying dragons that primarily engage in melee combat, and each one's combat capability is at least equivalent to five Spore Roaches or more."

The Black Spine Cerebrate began to let out terrifying roars that echoed above the base: "No one can drive me from this paradise! No matter how strong the enemy, unless they can kill me! Hive, halt all warfare over there! We are fully contracting, abandoning everything, and focusing all efforts on this war here. Remember to sever that Wormhole last! Completely cut off contact with the swarm; we will carve out a new world here!"

The quiet voice of the Black Spine Mother was soon heard: "Your will shall be completely implemented. I am already eagerly anticipating fighting alongside you in our new homeland."

At this time, Mogensha and Reef also rendezvoused with Fang Senyan. The dark brothers saw Fang Senyan and shouted excitedly, "Boss! You succeeded! You really succeeded! We are definitely going to nail that **** Golden Side Quest!!!!"

Fang Senyan looked into Mogensha's eyes and said word by word, "No! We succeeded—We did! The Ace Team succeeded!!!"

As soon as these words were spoken, all three felt as if the blood in their veins was burning. The surging emotion was indescribable!! They spread their arms and embraced each other, foreheads touching, letting out an incredibly excited roar simultaneously!!

...

It was a gigantic brown Viper and Wolf! Its entire body was smeared with the flesh and blood of Zerglings.

This terrifying creature was at least five or six times larger than its peers. Its long snout, sharp and full of serrated teeth, opened and closed, unmistakably evoking the image of electric shears. Its powerful hind legs gave it extraordinary leaping ability. If a Spore Roach flew too low, this creature would leap high over its comrades, snatching it down from the air, only to be instantly devoured by the surrounding Vipers and Wolves.

Fang Senyan had long been watching it.

With the gaze of a hungry man spotting a loaf of bread.
