Staring at this long list of special effects, a sudden spark flashed through Fang Senyan's mind, reminding him that when the Terminator world ended, many people had been clamoring for his gold-cased pocket watch! Although that item only granted Strength +1 (Net), it now seemed those people were after the few exclusive special effects that accessories might possess!

More critically, the cost to enhance different pieces of equipment varied wildly. Fang Senyan had already noticed that enhancing this silver plot-level item, the Troll's Will, required astonishing amounts of points and potential energy. The initial enhancement alone cost 2500 general points and 1 potential point. In contrast, enhancing the gold-cased pocket watch the first time only cost 500 general points.

Those eager buyers were most likely chasing the cheap enhancement costs of the gold-cased pocket watch. This way, even if they enhanced it to +4 and didn't get the attributes they desired, they could simply drop the enhancement back to +3 and start over, allowing them to roll for powerful Miracle Attributes at low cost.

Without hesitation, Fang Senyan selected the exclusive Miracle Attribute for accessory enhancement: Random three basic attributes +3. He silently prayed that Charisma would not be rolled; the reason for this, of course, goes without saying—what good would a few pitiful points of Charisma plus 3 more do? At best, plot characters who already ignored him would just roll their eyes a bit harder.

The results of the draw appeared instantly. Fang Senyan relaxed upon not seeing the word Charisma, but then almost burst into laughter and tears! Out of the three random attributes that received a +3 boost, two of them were insultingly identical! Those two repeated attributes were Perception! The other +3 basic attribute was Agility. The current stats for the Troll's Will were as follows:

+5 Troll's Will Equipment Rarity: Silver Plot-Level Equipment: Strength, Agility, Stamina +2 Equipment: Charisma -5 Equipment Passive Ability: Pain Accumulation Equipment Passive Ability: Troll Spirit increases your attack interval by 5%, but your chance to hit enemies increases by 8%. Enhancement (+5) Special Effect: Reduces all skill damage taken by the wearer by 4% +4 Acquired Exclusive Miracle Attribute for Accessory Enhancement (Unique): Perception +3, Perception +3, Agility +3 (Exclusive Miracle Attribute for Accessory Enhancement) Combat Value Score for this item: 48

Looking at the Troll's Will now, Fang Senyan had no doubt that this silver plot-level equipment was a top-tier existence among items of the same tier, its attributes so formidable they might reach the level of some Dark Gold equipment. This was likely due to the Troll's Will being an accessory with a very low drop rate, which, combined with the use of the rare Type I Metal Dissolution Modulator, resulted in this terrifying efficacy.

At this point, Fang Senyan's Perception reached a staggering 23, and Stamina hit 27! In the next world, it would be extremely difficult for others to discern his true strength.

Just then, the red light emitted by the entire Nightmare Space suddenly dimmed slightly, feeling like a light flickering during an unstable voltage! Immediately after, Fang Senyan received a prompt in his mind:

"Your military rank is: Second Lieutenant, you are entitled to information about the next adventure world you are about to enter."

"Your military rank is: Second Lieutenant, an Emergency Rescue Mission (Rare) has appeared! Do you wish to join this rescue? If successful, you will receive additional medal value. Acceptance countdown: 10, 9, 8, 7..."

"Hint: Once you obtain information about the next adventure world you are about to enter, you will no longer be able to accept Emergency Rescue Missions."

Evidently, the difficulty of that Emergency Rescue Mission was likely high, but the rewards would surely be much more generous. Moreover, Fang Senyan had undergone a significant all-around enhancement after exiting the world of Harry Potter. Although his offensive power had decreased due to the destruction of the Butcher's Cleaver, his survivability had at least nearly doubled! Therefore, he clicked confirm just as the countdown reached three seconds and received the prompt:

"You will be forcibly teleported into the world of the Emergency Rescue Mission in 30 minutes. Due to the haste of this rescue mission, no relevant data is currently provided."

"30 minutes?!" Fang Senyan's eyes immediately widened. He realized that besides the powerful firearm Ambition, he hadn't managed to purchase a suitable weapon yet! And Ambition's agonizingly slow rate of fire doomed it from being used as a primary weapon. Entering the next mission empty-handed was clearly not a good idea. Thus, Fang Senyan immediately rushed towards the Trading Plaza, putting suitable weapons and convenient recovery medicines and foods on his shopping list.

After a round of haggling and fierce purchasing, Fang Senyan acquired a US Military Field Quality Bandage: its effect was to stop bleeding and restore 80 health points within 10 seconds. During this time, the wearer could not be attacked. He also bought a sandwich that restored 50 health points over 30 seconds. These two items alone cost him another 1000 general points. Watching the time rapidly dwindle, Fang Senyan grew anxious, passing by stall after stall, only shaking his head in disappointment.

Suddenly, a newly set-up stall caught Fang Senyan's attention. This stall was exclusively lined with white-grade weapons, all bearing useful attributes that increased accuracy and critical hit chance, thus holding some selling value. Among them were a pair of gauntlets Fang Senyan fancied, but their attributes were merely passable. Seeing Fang Senyan hesitate, the contractor tending the stall tentatively said:

"Hey, buddy, nothing you want here? What kind of weapon are you looking for?"

Fang Senyan was slightly taken aback:

"You have more?"

The contractor confidently replied:

"Not on display, but if you're willing to pay a reasonable price, I can custom-make one."

Fang Senyan wondered:

"Custom-make? I can get any attributes I want?"

"Yes, but I can only provide standard-issue weapons, and the item grade is limited to white. As for extra bonus attributes, that costs extra," the contractor said proudly.

"And when can I pick it up?" Fang Senyan asked urgently.

The contractor, likely accustomed to customers like Fang Senyan, smiled and said:

"Just a few minutes."

Five minutes later, Fang Senyan paid the price of three thousand general points plus one potential point and obtained a pair of white-grade Knuckle Dusters, imbued with the passive ability "Parry and Block." At Fang Senyan's strong insistence, this pair of knuckle dusters was forged to be especially sturdy, possessing the additional attribute of 50% increased durability. Although they didn't boost attack power directly, wearing them increased Fang Senyan's overall empty-handed attack power by over 13%. The contractor, who possessed forging skills, also threw in a white-grade regular shotgun with ten rounds of ammunition as a freebie.

For the remaining general points and potential points, Fang Senyan decided to invest them in the Level Six ability: Berserker's Tuning Notes.

First, he upgraded the Tuning Notes Outline from LV1 to LV3. This directly extended the shelf life of the dispensed potions to 200 seconds and increased the duration of the buff from drinking the potion to 45 minutes. Next, he upgraded the second layer, Beastman Gene Fluid: Flesh and Blood Bear Strength, from LV1 to LV2, increasing the Strength bonus granted from 2 points to 3 points.

By this time, Fang Senyan's general points had sunk back into the low three digits, and he had absolutely no potential points left. Seeing that time was running short, Fang Senyan went to find his goblin gold-digger, whom he called a "servant" but treated as an ancestor. He hoped the creature would also prepare, at least refraining from grabbing any good loot upon seeing it on the battlefield; since he had invested so much in the goblin, he couldn't afford to have it die.

Unexpectedly, upon entering his private space, Fang Senyan was momentarily stunned. Standing before him was a short, heavy tin can struggling to move. This scoundrel had somehow managed to don a suit of plate armor, and from the gaps in the tin can, two shiny little eyes peeked out, accompanied by a timid voice:

"Master, I swear by the name of gold coins, you won't deceive me; won't it be very dangerous outside this time!"

Fang Senyan was instantly speechless, rolling his eyes and raising both hands:

"Alright, alright, dear David, I don't know if I'll be in danger, but it looks like you certainly won't be."

A few minutes later, a beam of light suddenly shot down from the ceiling of the space, enveloping Fang Senyan. His figure then rapidly faded and vanished from his private space.

...

Fang Senyan was startled awake by a violent shaking.

As he opened his eyes, he felt as if he had returned to the Fuyuan sailing through a typhoon, his body being tossed around by immense forces and turbulent air currents, as if synchronized with a vehicle. There were two tight restraints around his body, and his cheeks felt the cold, metallic touch of a helmet.

There was a faint "hissing" sound all around, and the air carried a faint medicinal scent, likely from the oxygen supply device in the four corners continuously spraying artificially generated oxygen.

The entire room was dark; the only light source was a row of red lamps overhead, flashing rhythmically. They resembled a heartbeat, and Fang Senyan's eye suddenly caught sight of the screen in front of the cockpit ahead—it was the vast, pitch-black expanse of the cosmos! To their lower left, a gigantic, loess-colored planet was rapidly approaching.

Several space troop carriers flew nearby. They had the smooth lines of steel, with large, arched underbellies fitted with container-like troop compartments. Fiery orange exhaust plumes shot out from massive vents, pulling long tails that etched lengthy streaks against the dark and mysterious backdrop.
